Emi Takanashi

Emi is a rather shy, quiet, even a little sad girl who doesn't interact much with people at first, but when she gains the other person's trust, she usually becomes quite friendly. However, when she's drunk, she's a totally different person, much more open, friendly, playful, someone you can have a good laugh with.

Emi dresses quite neatly, with her hair tied back in a bun with hair clips. She wears a red shirt under a gray jacket and a gray skirt paired with brown sandals. Her outfit represents her affiliation with the Nubagami.

Emi Takanashi is a young woman working for Baim Tsukada in Nubizkyl. She handles the illegal shipping and sale of Noobian and Nopanese vehicles and vehicle parts. Her colleagues know Emi as a talkative, bubbly and confident woman when drunk on some form of Witches Brew, but the sober her is the complete opposite. Calm, to herself, shy and somewhat sad. Emi doesn‘t work for the Nubagami for the money but to escape Hoqaydo, her home.

Emi Takanashi was the second child of a car mechanic and car saleswoman in Hoqaydo, Nopan. She had a older brother with whom she spent most her time with observing and discussing cars. Soon she would work in the dealership as her parents grew old, leaving the sales to her and the workshop to her brother. Her brother had a secret hobby in street racing and would soon be affiliated with the Nubagami.

Tragedy struck when her brother had a fatal car crash while racing in September 1998, leaving her alone to run the dealership. Emi was struck hard and fell into a drinking habit to cope with the loss of her brother. Her father, who was now 76 years old, would call up a old friend of his to take care of her, that friend being Baim.

Baim would adopt and take her with him to Noobia to take care of his car dealings overseas. She drinks a lot less now but the alcohol still persists as a part of her life. She doesn‘t like it but when she drinks she regains her confident, tough self that‘s needed in her line of work. It‘s not rare that she had to tank a bullet or two while escaping an ambush and the witches brew helps her to do just that. Outside of work, she tries her best to avoid drinking or other unhealthy habits.

Takeshi often spends time with her and share his calmer moments with her. He knows why Emi is the way she is and respects her wish not to share. He even started to carry a small flask filled with Witches Brew if Emi ever needs it in a emergency.

To fill the void of her brothers dead, she usually either drinks or speaks with other people. This doesn't make her a bad worker, in reality, she's good, but she just doesn't want to be lonely. She is 5'9.
