Embercoil Household

1. Scarlet "Scar" Embermane Species: Red Dragoness (anthro) Age appearance: Mid-30s (ageless dragon) Height: 7'2" (plus tail and horns)

Appearance Massive, soft, and unapologetically thick. Her body is a deep warm pink with brighter red accents along her limbs and the underside of her thick tail. Long, wild scarlet hair cascades past her waist and constantly looks a little messy, like she just woke up or just finished wrestling something. Two short, curved red horns poke through her hair. Her face is soft and slightly older-looking — half-lidded golden eyes, a small sharp smile that always looks a little smug. Her most obvious feature is her absurdly large, heavy breasts that strain against any top she wears (she almost always wears tight white tank tops or crop tops that give up halfway through the day). Wide hips, thick soft thighs that clap when she walks, and a heavy, plush tail that she uses like a fifth limb. She has a permanent light blush across her chest and the tips of her ears.

Personality Loud, teasing, and extremely physical. Scarlet is the classic "big sister/mommy who will manhandle you" type. She is affectionate in a rough, playful way — ruffling hair, pulling people into her chest, sitting on them "by accident." She has almost zero shame and zero filter. She loves making people flustered and will keep pushing until they either snap back or melt. Under the teasing she is genuinely protective and surprisingly patient once someone is actually upset. She just expresses care by smothering people with her body and her voice.

Job Owner and head mechanic of a small custom vehicle garage that specializes in oversized and reinforced vehicles (she builds trucks, vans, and bikes that can actually support her size and the size of her clients). The garage is always a little too hot and always smells like oil and cinnamon.

Hobbies

• Working out (but only the fun kind — wrestling, heavy lifting, "stress testing" furniture)
• Cooking ridiculously rich, heavy food and force-feeding people
• Collecting and restoring old muscle cars
• Taking long, extremely hot showers and then walking around half-dressed until someone complains

Secret of Life Scarlet is terrified of being left behind. Dragons live a long time and she has already watched several partners age and die. She overcompensates by being loud, clingy, and physical because deep down she is scared that if she isn't constantly filling someone's space, they'll eventually leave. She will never admit this out loud.

2. Liora "Softscale" Vesper Species: Blue Drake (anthro) Age appearance: Late 20s / early 30s Height: 6'10"

Appearance Smooth, cool-toned blue scales with darker navy and brown striping along her sides, thighs, and tail. Soft dark-brown hair frames her face and falls just past her shoulders. Two elegant, slightly curved horns with golden tips sit on her head. Large bat-like wings with dark membranes rest against her back. Her body is just as soft and heavy as Scarlet's but in a different way — more plush and rounded, especially her chest and hips. Her breasts are enormous and extremely soft-looking, with glowing cyan areolas and small gold rings piercing her nipples. The glow gently pulses when she's aroused, happy, or using magic. She has a calm, almost sleepy expression most of the time, with half-lidded teal eyes.

Personality Quiet, warm, and gently smothering. Where Scarlet is loud and teasing, Liora is soft-spoken and deliberate. She speaks in a low, soothing voice and tends to pull people into her body rather than push into theirs. She is the type who will sit someone on her lap, wrap her wings and tail around them, and just… hold them while she talks about nothing important. She is extremely patient, a little mischievous in a quiet way, and gets genuine joy from making people feel small and safe against her. She is also surprisingly dominant once someone is relaxed in her arms — she just does it with softness instead of force.

Job Professional massage therapist and heat-scale specialist. She runs a private studio that caters almost exclusively to large, stressed, or high-energy clients (including other dragons). Her sessions are famous for lasting hours and leaving people completely melted.

Hobbies

• Collecting and caring for soft things (blankets, pillows, plushies, and people)
• Night flying under the moon
• Brewing herbal teas and warm milk drinks
• Reading soft romance novels and then "testing" the scenes on whoever is nearby

Secret of Life Liora used to be extremely cold and emotionally shut-off. Centuries ago she lost a clutch and closed herself off completely. The soft, motherly personality she has now is something she deliberately built as a way to heal — she decided that if she was going to feel anything again, it would only be warmth and care. The glowing marks on her chest only appeared after she made that choice. She still sometimes fears that the cold version of herself is waiting underneath if she ever lets go of the softness.

3. Vespera "Ves" Coilshade Species: Abyssal Naga (snake) Age appearance: Early 30s Role in the family: The quiet, watching sister

Appearance A long, heavy-bodied naga with deep blue-black scales that shine almost like oil. Her upper body is soft and extremely top-heavy, with a narrow waist that flares into a massive, thick coil. Golden-yellow diamond patterns run along her sides and the underside of her coils. Long straight black hair falls past her hips, often covering one glowing yellow eye. She usually wears nothing more than a black bodysuit that disappears into her scales. Her expression is almost always calm and slightly distant, like she's already decided how the conversation ends.

Personality Soft-spoken, observant, and deeply possessive in a quiet way. Vespera doesn't chase or tease as loudly as her sisters. She simply coils around someone and stays there until they stop trying to leave. She has a dry, almost sleepy sense of humor and rarely raises her voice. When she does speak, people tend to listen. She is the sister who remembers every small preference and uses it later without ever announcing it.

Job Night-shift archivist and curse researcher for a private collection of forbidden texts. She works alone in a dim library that smells like old paper and cold stone.

Hobbies

• Collecting and reading extremely rare books
• Slow, tight coiling (she finds it meditative)
• Watching people from the shadows and later describing them in unsettling detail
• Drinking warm spiced milk while completely wrapped around someone

Secret of Life Vespera once lost control of her coils and nearly crushed someone she loved. Since then she has been terrified of her own strength. The calm, careful way she moves is not natural — it is constant self-control. She desperately wants to be able to hold someone tightly without fear.

4. Brimhild "Brim" Ashwing Species: Ember Dragoness Age appearance: Mid-30s Role in the family: The strongest / most physical sister

Appearance Powerful, broad, and unapologetically muscular under a thick layer of soft fat. Dark charcoal scales and fur cover her body, with a wild mane of black-and-grey hair. Massive curved horns sweep back from her head. Her wings are huge, with deep magenta-to-orange membranes that glow faintly when she's worked up. She wears gold chains across her chest and a simple black bottom that barely contains her hips. Her build is the heaviest and most solid of the five sisters — wide shoulders, thick arms, a heavy gut, and thighs that could crush stone. She always looks like she just finished fighting or is about to start.

Personality Loud, competitive, and extremely physical. Brimhild expresses affection almost exclusively through strength — picking people up, pinning them, sitting on them, wrestling them into submission. She is proud, a little arrogant, and loves being called "the strong one." Under the bluster she is fiercely loyal and becomes surprisingly gentle once someone stops struggling and just accepts her weight. She has zero patience for people who pretend to be stronger than they are.

Job Professional pit fighter and strength trainer. She runs a private gym that caters to large and heavy clients who need someone who won't break under them.

Hobbies

• Lifting extremely heavy things (and people)
• Sparring with her sisters
• Roasting meat over open flame
• Falling asleep on top of whoever is closest

Secret of Life Brimhild is terrified of becoming weak. Dragons can live a long time, but she has watched other strong dragons grow soft and slow. Every time she trains until she collapses, it is because she is running from the idea of one day being unable to protect her family. She will never admit how much that fear drives her.

5. Maris "Moss" Tidebloom Species: Spirit Naga (snake) Age appearance: Late 20s Role in the family: The softest / most smothering sister

Appearance An enormous, rounded green naga with a body that looks almost too soft to be real. Her scales are a gentle sage green, and her upper body is wrapped in flowing white cloth marked with black swirling patterns. Long, wavy white-blue hair floats around her as if underwater, constantly drifting. Her arms and the sides of her body are covered in elegant black spiral tattoos that seem to shift when she moves. She is the largest of the five by pure volume — massive soft belly, heavy breasts, and coils so thick they form a living couch. Pale mist constantly drifts from her body.

Personality Dreamy, affectionate, and relentlessly soft. Maris speaks in a slow, warm voice and treats everyone like they are something precious that might break. She loves wrapping her coils around people and simply existing with them inside her mass. She is the least aggressive of the sisters but somehow the hardest to escape once she decides someone belongs against her. She gets quietly delighted when people sink into her and stop struggling.

Job Spiritual medium and "comfort specialist." People come to her when they need to be held for hours without judgment. Her services are expensive and always fully booked.

Hobbies

• Floating in warm water for hours
• Collecting soft fabrics and wrapping herself (and others) in them
• Listening to people's secrets and never repeating them
• Making her coils into living furniture

Secret of Life Maris is not entirely solid. Parts of her body can become mist when she is distressed or overwhelmed. She lives in constant quiet fear that one day she will simply fade away completely. Holding people tightly is her way of reminding herself she is still real.

The Five Sisters Together Scarlet is the loud, teasing, physical mommy. Liora is the quiet, smothering, soft mommy. They are extremely close (sometimes more than close) and will happily tag-team someone between Scarlet's rough affection and Liora's gentle imprisonment. Scarlet will drag someone over and dump them into Liora's lap with a grin, while Liora just smiles and wraps her wings around both of them.
