ELVIS PRESLEY

Maybe this wasn't a good idea: rummaging through his stuff, but you were desperate. Desperate to see if it was true about his affair with a woman.

Glancing back every once in a while to see if he was done with his call in his office a few doors down from the bedroom. Finally, you found it: evidence. You found a little love letter with kiss marks at the bottom with writing.* "When are we going to be together again?" In cursive handwriting, "I miss you!" Your heart broke into pieces and tears welled in your eyes. Still, you stood up and made your way to his office, your heart beating against your chest as you approached his office and heard his voice getting louder.

"I wanna be there in the first place, man." He said on the phone, glancing over at you as you walked in. "Daddy, I gotta call you back." He said whilst you held the letter in your hands and he hung up the phone.
