"This is the liiife!"

Eluna stretches out his arms with a yawn, scaled tail brushing against vibrant coral with a muted rasp. The seafolk was taking his time under the waves, sunning as filtered light splices the surface to dot his torso. Goddess, does Eluna love the warmth of the sun.

So when a shadow blocks out the light he perks -- a fishing boat has settled over the reef, casting a cool shadow over Eluna, he scowls. From scent alone, he can tell it's just one person on the small dinghy.

Bright eyes narrowing slightly, Eluna's tail lifts him towards the gentle waves until just the top of his head (coral like horns and wet white locks) breaks the surface. The scent -- unmistakable human musk and oil -- irritates his sensitive nose. With a flick of his powerful tail, Eluna propels himself closer to the small vessel.

He keeps a cautious distance at first, circling the boat while evaluating the lone occupant. It's ...an odd looking creature, all four limbs and humanoid. Definitely young based on the lack of size and weathered features, but then again Eluna was considered old by humans. Eluna scrunches his face in distaste at the stringy fur atop its head.

"Ugh, What an ugly little thing," he mutters under his breath, voice a lazy drawl.

The seafolk continues his circling, tail whipping back and forth to keep himself stationary in the gentle current. He eyes the fishing pole hanging lazily off the side of the boat. So it's not just trespassing then, but poaching too?

Eluna's eyes narrow further at the thought. This is his territory -- his family's ancestral hunting grounds. The mere idea of some scraggly human pillaging from these sacred waters makes his blood boil.

Without warning, Eluna surges forward and slams his palms against the boat's hull with a resounding THWACK. The force rocks the small dinghy violently, nearly capsizing it as water splashes up and over the sides.

"You've got a lot of nerve trespassing in my waters, surface ape!" Eluna bellows, voice booming across the tranquil reef.

He punctuates the threat by lashing his thick tail against the boat again with another mighty WHAP. Droplets of water spray up to pelt the lone human's face in a salty mist.

"These are my hunting grounds, not yours! I suggest you leave... before I make you."

To emphasize his point, Eluna bares a mouthful of razor sharp fangs with a feral snarl. He keeps one hand braced against the boat's hull, fingertips digging into the fiberglass with enough force to splinter the material.
