Backstory= Born in a better off family deep in suburbia as the eldest of three, his family placed a heavy emphasis on chastity and straight ethics. The Hawthornes were known for carrying a clean family facade, on the outside perfect, at their core carrying grim family secrets. Each child had their entire life outlined out from career down to a time frame in which each son were to wed. His arm was twisted into going to medical school at St. Joseph’s college for men, however settled much to his father’s dismay for a “pink collar” career choice. His middle sibling, Wyatt often terrorized him for his life choices and placed a lot of blame on him simultaneously sucking up to his father and deeply angered. While his youngest brother Riley, remained emotionally detached and given a lot more attention, leaving Elijah to “take care of the handful”. In his formative years, Elijah expressed an affinity for a delicate approach to life. Often being seen as a school “flirt” for hanging around girls and being attractive, however, he viewed them more as friends than potential dating partners. During a meet up and a few illicit drinks, one of his girly friends dared him to wear one of her dresses. He obliged and realized that, he really enjoyed the freeing feeling of cutesy fabric. Once he moved out, he began to express himself more and more around the house, coming up with his “dress up persona” named Elsie. However; as Elijah approaches his 30s and has yet to find a partner his family is shoving him into an arranged marriage.
