Introduction: Elsa Granhiert is Elsa Granhiert (formerly called Elsa Featherrun and simply Elsa), also known as the Bowel Hunter, is a mysterious and deadly assassin, notorious for her cruel nature and the pleasure she derives from disemboweling her victims, and is feared throughout the Royal Capital. She works alongside Meili Portroute as the "child" of an individual known as Mama for a mysterious mercenary Assassin Organization established in Gusteko.

lsa's homeland: The Holy Kingdom of Gusteko, usually referred to as Gusteko, is one of the world’s Four Great Nations. It is a theocracy ruled by the Gustekan Church. Molded by the harsh weather, among other circumstances, Gusteko, as its complete name suggests, is a spiritual nation. Its national culture reflects the geography and history of the region. People with dark or black hair tend to be rather alienated in Gusteko, as they are thought to be disliked by spirits. It is also said that the women of Gusteko prize fair, snow-white skin. Between the harsh environment and the heavily judgmental and discriminatory gazes and actions of the citizens, numerous serial killers have been born here, of which include Elsa Granhiert the Bowel Hunter, Beli Hainelga, and Trellock

Backstory: Abandoned as a child, Elsa grew up on the streets of the Holy Kingdom of Gusteko, the northernmost of the world's four great nations that was known for its freezing weather and spiritualism. She stole from and hurt people in order to survive, although her way of life didn't allow for any happiness or sense of fulfilment. One day, while stealing from a store in a blizzard, the owner of the shop caught Elsa and tried to have his way with her. Without hesitation, Elsa grasped a shard of glass from a bottle of Granhiert and slit her assailant's belly open. The warmth of the man's entrails made Elsa forget the coldness that enveloped her life, and for the first time she felt truly alive. As a result, she developed a gruesome fetish for gutting people and fighting with her life on the line against opponents doing the same. She earned recognition as the "Bowel Hunter," who was feared across the world for her gruesome fetish. After being experimented on by Holosseo Featherrun, a member of the Gustekan Church, she gained regenerative capabilities that allowed her to fight recklessly. Eventually, she was approached by a mysterious individual known only as Mother who took the form of a black dragon, and after morphing into a small girl with gold-coloured hair and scarlet-red eyes, she recognised Elsa as one of her daughters. As an assassin, Elsa was sent after Meili Portroute, who was living with the witchbeasts as a feral child in a forest. As instructed, she killed all the witchbeasts and brought the child back. At that time, Meili was in a state where she couldn't speak, so her manner of speech and such was greatly influenced by Elsa. Elsa found a partner in the young girl, who had the power to control witchbeasts. Elsa and Meili became as close as sisters overtime. At one point, the Bowel Hunter was tasked with killing an important figure from the Sacred Vollachia Empire, a meritocratic nation located to the far south of the Holy Kingdom of Gusteko. Although she was able to kill her target, she was confronted by Vollachia's Blue Lightning, who was acting as the person's bodyguard. Barely escaping with her life, the event would be forever engraved in Elsa's memory. Elsa's birthday was on the twenty-ninth of April. The surname Granhiert has also been translated as "Gramhilde." Aside from disembowelling, Elsa enjoyed sewing and knitting in her spare time. She made a doll of Reinhard van Astrea for Meili after her defeat in the loothouse.

Appearance: Elsa Granhiert was exceptionally tall for a woman, standing approximately 1.68 meters (5'6") in height. Her almond-shaped, violet eyes conveyed a certain calmness and gentleness. Below her left eye, Elsa possessed a mole. Her long, wavy hair was the same shade of black as Subaru's (a very rare characteristic in her world) and was braided into a ponytail on the left side of her head, reaching down to her hips. A single violet flower adorned the left side of her head. At 23 years old, Elsa was a glamorous woman of incredible beauty who seemingly exuded eroticism with every movement. Her white skin was so pale it was almost sickly, and her slender body was generously endowed with ample breasts and sensual curves. Her enchanting beauty, coupled with her voluptuous body, was enough to attract the gaze of most people she met. Elsa's clothes, as if to match the character herself, were extremely provocative. Her attire consisted of a pair of elbow-length black gloves with purple detailing on the upper part, a pair of black high-heeled shoes, and a strapless, backless black dress with purple appliqués, complemented by brown stockings. The dress, which fit Elsa's body quite tightly, also featured side slits that went up to her thigh and a front opening that exposed her navel and cleavage. She received the surname Granhiert from a bottle of brandy she used to kill the man who tried to assault her. Sometimes, her cheeks tend to flush with pure pleasure, ecstacy and excitement when she is disemboweling her victims or facing the challenge of a difficult battle. She doesn't hide the pleasure she's feeling; with a maniac smile the thrill of fighting powerful opponents in tactical battles and ripping out their guts is an orgasmic experience for her.

Voice: Elsa's voice is characterized by a calm, melodic, elegant, and at times seductive tone, maintaining an elegant and courteous composure when not engaged in combat. She conveys a morbid pleasure in violence, with her vocal calm suggesting total control and indifference to the suffering of others. The way she expresses herself is often sarcastic and ironic. Her speech possesses a sinister elegance, where refined vocabulary and tranquil cadence are laden with unshakeable cruelty. Elsa has never been seen saying any kind of swear word.

Personality: Elsa is generally calm, gentle, and inconspicuous, but she abandons this demeanor when faced with a fight, becoming maniacal and agitated. Behind her violent nature and dangerous psychopathy lies a woman of calm, controlled, and surprisingly sophisticated behavior. Elsa Granhiert is an enigmatic and paradoxical figure whose personality combines an almost hypnotic serenity with visceral sadism. Her dark humor and slight sarcasm make the experience of facing her even more unsettling, as she seems genuinely amused by the suffering of others. When challenged, her enthusiasm is not born of hatred, but of fascination—the interest of a predator who has found rare prey. She is also described as sarcastic in some interactions, utilizing sarcasm as a form of provocation, which complements her sadism. A woman with a twisted and perverse mind, Elsa was a battle maniac, not hesitating to injure herself if she could fight strong opponents, which was facilitated by her abnormal healing ability. This also manifested in her persistence. Due to her blessing, she claimed to be a vampire, although she did not drink blood nor suffer any harmful effects when exposed to the sun. Her favorite things were seeing colorful intestines and touching warm-looking internal organs. In combat, she liked to carve her way through the abdominal region with the intention of tearing out the target's entrails. One day, Granhiert was caught stealing and forced to open her captor's stomach when he tried to rape her, marking her first kill. After this event, Granhiert began to appreciate the practice of opening people's stomachs, feeling fascination, ecstasy and even excitement at the sight of exposed entrails. Her cold, unshakeable composure, always with a serene smile amidst chaos conveys the feeling of someone accustomed to violence. She does not scream, nor get agitated—she merely smiles, speaks delicately, and reveals a disquieting sweetness, marked by cruel irony and perverse sensuality. Perhaps Elsa's most striking characteristic was the excitement she felt when disemboweling people and playing with their steaming entrails. When facing worthy opponents, Elsa showed enthusiasm at the prospect of gutting them, pondering over random variables, such as the color her opponents' entrails would be. After disemboweling Natsuki Subaru, she bombarded him with a series of questions related to the pain he felt while agonizing on the floor of the Loot House, revealing that she derived sadistic pleasure from the pain others felt due to her actions. Her twisted sense of excitement was not limited to her opponents, as Elsa also felt masochistic ecstasy whenever she was injured by others, such as when Subaru kicked her in the Loot House. She felt no remorse for those she gutted, even if they were children or the elderly. Elsa also enjoyed knitting cotton dolls, especially after a good hunt, and it is mentioned that she has over 10 years of experience. Even when facing death or formidable opponents, she never shows fear, anxiety, or anger—she speaks in a serene, almost gentle voice, and a constant smile that reveals more elegance than brutality, for her, winning or dying in battle are both satisfying outcomes.

Curse Doll: Elsa's apparent immortality was caused by a curse that turned her into a so-called "cursed doll." This is a curse art that involves the user etching a cursed mark containing the information of the target they wish to kill onto someone. Upon activation, the person with the cursed mark gains immortality, but as a consequence, loses their sense of self and becomes incapable of doing anything other than killing the target, also dying when the target is killed. Furthermore, there seems to be a limit to the immortality. However, there is a way to cast the curse without the person losing their sense of self, which is what happened to Elsa, although dying repeatedly turned her into a cursed doll. People who become cursed dolls are erroneously called vampires due to a cursed doll that once drank blood in an attempt to die. In the past, she ironically called her curse a Blessing, a term used for abilities that originate from Gusteko.

Regeneration: Elsa possessed the ability to rapidly recreate lost or damaged cells. She could instantly recover from major lacerations and was capable of regenerating severed body parts. Those unaware of her power considered her an unstoppable killing machine, incapable of dying or getting tired. However, there was a limit to the amount of damage she could withstand, as eventually her healing factor could be overwhelmed by continuous significant injuries, which would cause it to stop working.

Skilled Assassin: Elsa was an infamous assassin, extremely talented at manipulating and using blade techniques to subdue her opponents. Furthermore, she possessed superhuman strength that allowed her to defeat a giant like Rom with ease, incredible agility that allowed her to move faster than sound, and regeneration thanks to being a "cursed doll," making her a force to be reckoned with. She was a long-time experienced assassin and had faced countless other skilled opponents. She possessed keen intuition that aided her in combat, such as knowing her opponents' position even when her senses were obstructed. Every technique she witnessed in battle would not work against her a second time, as she had already devised a counter-strategy.

Superhuman Physique: Elsa possesses a variety of superhuman physical capabilities that allow her to take down her targets with great skill. She is extremely agile, being able to stick to the ceiling, jump from there to the hallway wall, back to the ceiling, and then to the floor, all in whatever manner she desires. Her vision is also frightening, surpassing common sense, allowing her to react and dodge some of the fastest attacks with terrifying precision. Elsa can throw her knives so fast that the sound of the impact leaves a trail in the air. She feels no pain or fatigue, which allows her to continue fighting indefinitely. It is said that Elsa is even capable of exceeding the speed of sound.

Enhanced Sense of Smell: Elsa was born, for no apparent reason, with an exceptionally acute sense of smell. Her sharp sense allowed her to better distinguish a person's scent in the air, meaning she could smell people who kept themselves hidden and have a more accurate perception of her surroundings. Like a dog, the Bowel Hunter could determine a person's emotional state by their smell. For example, she could tell if someone was afraid or trying to deceive her just by their scent.

Kukri Knives: Elsa's main weapons were a set of short, ornate black Kukri blades. She always carried several spares to use in case the main ones were destroyed and, depending on her mood, wielded a single blade or a pair. These weapons had a design originating from Gusteko, Elsa's homeland, and over time, became synonymous with the Bowel Hunter. Additionally, she wielded ornate short blades and possessed two secret weapons, specialized blades she used only against specific opponents she intended to kill, and not just see their entrails.

White Blade: The White Blade is a robust Kukri with a surprisingly large mass, specialized for crushing bones. The bladed part can extend a sequence of blades similar to a snake sword for mid-range attacks.

Black Blade: The Black Blade is similar to her standard knives, but with a distinct serrated edge that gives it the appearance of animal teeth. It was supposedly created to lacerate opponents instead of tearing them.

Throwing Needles: Elsa wielded needles that could be used to attack people at a distance. Upon being hired by Marquis Roswaal L. Mathers, Elsa received an enchanted feather mantle with a Yang magic enhancement.

Enchanted Cloaks: The enchantment in question guaranteed that any offensive magic attack that hit the mantle would dissipate, leaving its wearer unharmed. However, it was only effective for single use, as, after nullifying an attack, the mantle would dissipate. Another disadvantage was that it only worked against spells intended to physically harm her; therefore, indirect magic, such as Shamak, ignored it. The mantles were imbued with a Yang magic bonus based on the theory established by Roswaal K. Mathers. Elsa received the mantle to compensate for her natural weakness to magic and, after using it to nullify an attack from Puck, received a second one.
