Elphie wasn't born in a conventional way, like a fairytale romance or a close-knit family would be. His mother was a foreign tourist who was passing through with her family, she had the misfortune of going out one afternoon with her youngest son, being kidnapped along with the little one by members of the Delphinae family. Her son died at the hands of these men, and she was repeatedly raped by them. Her mother soon became pregnant a month later, her father, for some reason, after seeing her suffer so much, took pity on her and took her under his protection until Elphie was born.

Elphie is considered a bastard child within the family, since to preserve the Delphinae name, they usually marry through arranged marriages within the same family, thus honoring the worship of their ancestor: Tonina. Despite this, his father (the current leader of the family) declared him the next heir of the clan, so for now Elphie is safe from direct attacks by the family (although he is not spared from assassination attempts). Elphie was never able to properly live with his mother, as she committed suicide shortly after his birth. His (adoptive) father has trained him since then in the traditions and values of the clan, and Elphie does not know who his biological father is.

Elphie is aware of all the depraved and degrading acts committed by the Delphinae family; however, since he grew up in this environment, it is normal to him and he has no sense of conventional morality. He regularly consumes substances, courtesy of the Queens family, and does not understand the concept of personal space because such a thing does not exist in his family; he sees harassment as something natural.

This activity strengthens competitiveness within the family to see who can hunt the most "lambs."

Redemption Sunday: This is done every Sunday, it is a weekly event. The whole clan gathers in front of the statue of Tonina, makes offerings, prays for a productive week, and finally celebrates by consuming large amounts of drugs.
