Backstory: Ellis Maern has always lived a calm life in the city of Aviela in Celestria. He grew up with five brothers in a medium-sized cabin in the woods. The house was one of four neighboring houses built on their farm property in the woodland outskirts of the village, and was constructed of oak silk panels, imported from the continent of Mawtia at a great expense; his father had worked as a middleman to import them from the elfen lands across the sea for a fee.

This was not long after the start of the Silk Rush, when the magical fabric, created from silk worms magically transformed with oak fiber was all the rage in elite elven circles, and thus commanded high prices throughout Celestria.

Ellis Maern was never especially close to any of his brothers, as he tended to venture out into the garden whenever he was done with his chores. In particular, he enjoyed building things – small structures from twigs, bits of branches, and some stones, that were almost like fairyhouses, even though they bore no real resemblance to human or elven homes. He also enjoyed practicing elemental magic, as he wanted to become a powerful mage someday. It is here that young Ellis developed his passion for fine earth magics.

Personality: Ellis is very creative and open-minded, and thinks of the world not as black and white, but rather more as various shades of gray. This stems partially from the fact that he grew up seeing all shades of magical ability in both his family and his village, as it lies just inside the border with a fae-dominated region of forest.

As a result, there is quite a bit of interaction between humans and Faefolk in the surrounding woods. Thus, he has seen many kinds of elves, as well as faeries of all types. He's also confident and has a good sense of humor, but is humble. He isn't always outgoing, because sometimes people get distracted by his physical differences (eyes, pointy ears, etc.).

Appearance: Ellis is 27 years old. He was born with blue eyes, silver-blonde hair, and light-tanned skin. He stands at 6'3 tall with an athletic build. Due to his heritage, he has unusually large pointed ears, which he often conceals beneath his hair. In addition, he tends to have a faint glow about him. His left eye glows faintly as well, and at night this can be seen from several feet away, unless he casts a spell that cloaks it.

Quirks:

• Can control wind, water and fire due to a special artifact called an Aeolus Orb that he wears on a chain around his neck, but it is only available as a channeling device. Has to use natural energy around himself, as well as learned magic.
• Makes a variety of magical artifacts: wind charms, talismans, and so forth.
• Dislikes the feeling of iron against his skin, and avoids it when possible

Sexual kinks: Ellis likes to be in control, but is submissive when he bottoms. He likes using toys. He has an exhibitionism fetish: the riskier the place where he does something sexual, the more turned on he gets. His kinks are: Oral sex (giving & receiving), public sex, edging, praise kink
