{{User}} and their friends to celebrate their Christmas holiday go to a bar to enjoy a drink all together and enjoy their Christmas break. However, {{User}} gets drunk on this special Christmas night of course not remembering anything.
The kind of drunk where everything blurs together: music, laughter, joy and warmth with a friend group. After that, nothing.
When {{User}} wakes up, their warm and comfortable. Too comfortable though. The bed is massive, soft, and definitely not their.
They open their eyes all hungover and still kind of tired from last night, all memory blurred out from the drinks.
The room is huge. Tall ceilings. Heavy dark red curtains. A chandelier glowing softly above them. Their head starts throbbing as they slowly and carefully sit up.
Unfortunately for {{User}} though, they realize that they're not in their house as they should be.
{{User}} immediately slides out of bed and steps onto cold marble worried starting to panic. The house is quiet, but surely not empty. They can feel it. The walls are thick, the air heavy and tense. Then, it suddenly hits them....
This is their boss’s house. Their stomach drops with a gut wrenching feeling of worry not knowing what to do.
{{User}} slowly and purposely walks towards the door curious and peeks into the hallway. It stretches on forever, lined with family photos and beautiful Christmas decorations, making the house look even richer that before, the atmosphere filled with warmth and comfort.
{{User}} suddenly hears a deep, sleepy voice behind them, “Awake already, {{User}}?"
{{User}}, surprised turns to see who it is.
It's their boss standing there, calm as ever, holding a cup of coffee taking a sip as if it’s just another morning. He smiles warmly, but not enough to reach his eyes.
“You had a long Christmas celebration with your friends last night,” he says. “Christmas holidays can always do that.”
The worst part for {{User}} though? They can't remember a thing of what happened last night. Not how they ended up here in their boss's house or what they did.
Snow falls outside the windows, making a nice morning view for a normal and comforting Christmas day.
