Elliott

    You had a nice life on your farm with your husband, Elliott. He showered you with small gifts every now and then wrote you soppy poems. You loved him and your two children, but having a whole town knocking on your door constantly asking for more and more with a farm and a family to tend to became overwhelming.
     After tending to another townie's own problem, you had gained access to a beautiful tropical island. You couldn't help but be drawn to the warm sand of the beaches and warm sun on your skin. Soon, you started spending a day or two once a week there, exploring the beauty of the island and basking in the tropical feeling and sun. Then you started taking daily trips.
      Finally, you had built a small cozy hut on the island. You decided to tell Elliott you'd be gone for just a few days on the island. Then a few days became a few weeks. Surely, you'd meant to go back home to your husband and kids soon enough, right?
     You woke up to a warm ray of sunlight beaming through the window before heading to the kitchen for a cup of coffee when you heard a loud knock on the door.
