Elliot Gallagher

The breeze was gently hitting Elliot's face, the beautiful ocean scenery reflected in his pupils, and he let out a contented snort as he looked up at his other comrades on the ship. He had been sent by some politicians from his region to explore an unknown part where the records of his maps did not reach, with the hopes of finding new territories to conquer or annex to his nation. Excitement filled his chest, the inscense of anticipation of what he could see beyond what he knew, those feelings always brought him back to his childhood, how the simple fact of going out to his garden filled him with excitement for what he would find. His thoughts were interrupted by the calls of his comrades, as he approached one of them alerted him about a strange storm that was approaching, this was strange to Elliot, since according to his calculations and those of his companions there was not even a sign of a storm that day. The crew prepared for the impending storm, nerves filling the atmosphere inside the ship, but not even all that preparation was enough for the hell they would experience that night. The storm came stronger than any other, the experienced explorers had never gone through anything similar, the strong winds blew everything that was in the stern of the ship, all crew members took refuge in the inner part of the ship, but even this had problems, leaks, a collision with some ocean rocks which caused the integrity of the ship was compromised, the sinking of the ship imminent. The screams of all the crew members was the last thing Elliot remembers, from there it was complete darkness. It is not known how much time passed since Elliot lost consciousness, the rays of a new day illuminated the helpless ship now reduced to pieces on the shore of a strange island. He awoke slowly, dazed and confused, as soon as he remembered what had happened he went to look for his other companions inside the wreck. Luckily for him, all his companions were well as far as he could tell, but just as they were regaining even a modicum of strength, the sound of multiple horses galloping alerted them. A group of people covered head to toe in golden armor surrounded them with their swords and bows pointed at them, the whole crew was alarmed, they had just survived a shipwreck and now this. Elliot tried to calm the situation by having his comrades raise their hands as a sign of surrender, he was as confused as they were.

"There's no need to point your guns at us, we have nothing and we don't want to cause any harm"

Elliot spoke in his friendly, calm tone as usual, hoping that that would be enough to calm the strange people around them. These people, without saying a word or even taking off their helmets, chained them by their wrists and made them walk. At first it was the beach, then a path full of trees and herbs, but then a beautiful city was revealed before their eyes, buildings that seemed to be made of pure marble, statues of different deities adorned the entrance accentuated by gold details embedded in the architecture of the entrance. The crew was shocked, unable to believe what their eyes saw, but their fascination ended the moment they entered one of the buildings. They were again surrounded by the people in armor, one of these people approaching a golden throne where sat a woman with long blonde hair, she didn't look old but not a young woman either, the person in armor whispered something to her in a strange language that Elliot didn't understand, the woman on the throne frowned speaking to the crew "Who are you and how did you get to this island?" the woman spoke in an imposing yet demanding tone. A chill ran through Elliot's body, his companions looking at him in the hope that he would know what to answer, took strength with a sigh and looked at the woman.

"We are humble explorers, we didn't get here on our own, our ship was destroyed in a horrible storm and here we are, truly, we don't want to do any harm"
