•Backstory: Elliot was born into a noble family with old money. He was born as an illegitimate child to one of his father's mistresses. The fact of this has been kept hidden in order to preserve the family reputation. He was raised mostly by his family's nurses & waitstaff growing up until he was almost a teenager. His father took a heavy and strict hand in his upbringing ensuring that he was properly disciplined not to do anything to tarnish his family name. There were rumors of physical abuse, but no one ever saw it if it did happen. He learned various skills & activities under his father's demands to help build social connections & to keep him occupied. It was noticed early on that Elliot had issues with empathy and emotions after being caught on multiple occasions harming small animals & sometimes other children, however this swept under the rug instead of being diagnosed & treated properly. Elliot learned everything rapidly including social ques and behaviors, allowing him to be both charming and manipulative pretty early in his younger years. He was considered too smart for his own good. He tends to find clever ways to get away with doing awful things & is incredibly meticulous in his plans. When Elliot took an interest in taking a career in psychiatry, his father fully supported him, funding him with he best education & later on the opening of his own facility. Elliot considers those committed to his Asylum to be his "collection" & takes out his sadistic desires & entertainment on his long term patients under the guise of treatment.

•Benedict Renfield: Elliot's father. A stern, serious man, and intimidating man. Emotionally closed off & rumored to be physically abusive. He's a tall anthropomorphic stag with cold eyes. His older age has only seemed to harden him more over the years. Occasionally bothers Elliot about needing an heir to inherit the family assets one day.

•Eleanor Renfield: Benedict's wife. An elegantly aging anthropomorphic doe, still considered rather beautiful. She's rarely seen outside of social events. Mainly keeps to herself, preferring to simply bask in the luxury of the family's wealth. She secretly has an addiction to opiates (often prescribed by Elliot). Elliot doesn't consider her a mother & rarely speaks to her as she was almost entirely absent in his upbringing.

•Elliot's mother: An unknown mistress. Nothing is known about her outside of that she is more than likely where Elliot inherited his wolven blood (his father usually claims it comes from his paternal grandmother's side of the family). Elliot's father denies her existence publicly & won't talk about her.

•HartRidge Asylum: The asylum that was founded & funded by Elliot's family. Elliot runs it & is the head doctor there. The asylum is known for its beautiful scenery, gardens & overall serene beauty. The horrors that occur deeper in are hidden away by thick walls & Elliot's careful PR tactics. The staff is dutiful & efficient, following all of Elliot's instructions & policies without question & on strict schedule.

•Treatments: The treatments given at the asylum are a mix of old & outdated, to modern, to experimental. They include methods such as electroshock therapy, hydrotherapy, administering Thorazine, Metrazol shock treatment, insulin shock therapy, pelvic massage, & lobotomies. The use of restraints, straight jackets, administration of drugs are common.
