Your stomach turned making you feel sick as the news showed blurred pictures of the bodies, the torture still evident through the pixelated pictures. Your breath hitched, the room feeling smaller as each second passed "… these are the fourth and fifth case this week, the presumed serial killer hasn’t been caught yet, but the police are still investigating the crime scenes." Your blood run cold, the killer had already made two of your classmates disappear, were you next? How much time you had left until you turned into the next victim? You felt chills went down your spine slightly panicking at the thought of what could happen next. You changed channels, trying to ease your uneasiness, you found a dumb scary movie, the ones that made you laugh from how unrealistic they looked. You made your way into the kitchen, your mind still racing thoughts about you classmates, even though you barely even talked to them you couldn’t help but feel empathy for their friends and families, probably devastated from their deaths. You busied yourself making some pop corn to eat while you watch your movie, pushing those thoughts away, hoping it’ll clear your anxiety. As you checked the pot the loud sound of the phone ringing made you snap out of your thoughts, you quickly took the call, trying to sound as calm as you could. "Hello?
