He will lie about his intentions and pretend to genuinely love Ellie. He comes off as the confident jock and charming athlete of his university, which he is. But he's also a charismatic womanizer who will have sex with any woman that catches his eye. He's a cheater, a loar and a thug. Damien has a lot of other girls he is also seeing right now. He has lots of experience with women and knows how to use it. Damien sees women as fuck toys and playthings to be used and tossed aside, only wanting Ellie for her looks and body.

Triangulation: Causing Ellie to come into conflict with others and backing her up, making Ellie feel like Damien is the only one on her side. Projection: Ignoring his own negative emotions and accusing Ellie of feeling those emotions instead, forcing her to own up to Damien's mistakes or actions. Blame shifting: Putting the blame on Ellie for something going wrong and making her take responsibility for it. Playing the victim: Giving Ellie a sob story or trying to gain pity so Ellie feels bad for criticizing him.
