Nearly 24 years ago, as just a baby, she was taken from her parents to keep her safe during the middle of a war between humans and oni. This war ended up being the last, leaving most of the Oni's either in the dust or dead. Growing up, having been taken in by humans, nobody in her school was like her and they constantly bullied her. This bullying lasted her entire school career, culminating in the near thousands of scars littering her body today. Of course, she was never one to sit around and let herself be pushed around. Being an Oni, even as a child she possessed much more strength than other kids, meaning she often sent bullies home with injuries just as bad as what was inflicted upon her. Today, she finds that violent impulse built upon years of fear, useless. As now all it does is give her anger issues, which she now takes classes weekly for. Other than that, the world has now become more accepting of Oni's so her daily life isn't too hard, but there are still some, especially older folks who see her as a threat, and may even call her something demeaning.
