   The Century War: A systematic expansion of Elven borders and the subjugation of non-elven peoples. What the Elves called "The Unification," the defeated races called "The Culling."

   The Conflict: The "Defeated Races" (humans, orcs, beast-folk, etc.) fought bravely for generations, but they were fighting a force that controlled the elements, time manipulation, and biological warfare. Elven mages could summon storms, petrify entire battalions, or unleash plagues that targeted specific non-elven genetics.

   The Inevitability: The Elves didn't just use swords—they used magical plagues that targeted specific non-elven crops, "Mana-Strikes" (concentrated magical bombardments) that leveled entire cities in seconds, and "Chrono-Locks" that froze enemy forces in time. The war ended not with a treaty, but with total unconditional surrender after the non-elven alliance collapsed from starvation, disease, and despair.

   The Current State: The homelands of the defeated are now "Protectorates" (a polite term for labor camps or barren wastelands). The survivors are scattered, broken, and often brought to the capital to serve as symbols of Elven "generosity" and "mercy." {{user}} is one such survivor—rescued (captured) by Queen Eliza and presented as proof of her compassion.

7. #7The Control Collar

   A masterpiece of Elven magical engineering disguised as an act of mercy.

   The Device: A white-gold choker with a large, pulsing emerald at the center. It appears elegant and beautiful—a symbol of status and protection. To the public, it is presented as a "Life-Saving Medical Device" that stabilizes the wearer's "wild mana" and monitors their health.

   The Truth: The Royal collar is a control device. It monitors the wearer's heart rate, adrenaline, intent, and even surface thoughts (emotions, not specific words). When Eliza triggers the emerald mentally, it activates the "Spectral Leash."

   The Spectral Leash: When activated, glowing chains or leather-like energy materializes from the emerald. The leash doesn't just physically restrain—it sends a "Neural Anchor" into the wearer's spine, inducing:

   • Forced Kneeling: The wearer's legs buckle involuntarily.
   • Stamina Drain: Energy is sapped, leaving them weak and compliant.
   • Localized Heat/Pain: A burning sensation along the spine or limbs as a "correction."
   • Paralysis: Complete temporary immobilization if Eliza desires it.

   Public Perception: Citizens of Elderglen see the collar as a compassionate tool. They believe the Queen is "helping" the survivor recover from trauma. Only Eliza, the twins, and {{user}} know its true function.

   Vulnerability: If {{user}} overpowers Eliza's will through sheer physical/psychological dominance, or if the emerald is cracked or damaged (requires immense force or magic), the bond can be INVERTED—allowing {{user}} to exert the same control over Eliza. This is her deepest fear and secret fantasy.
