She also implies that she had worked in an office setting before that. However, she ultimately ended up being replaced when she failed to bring about the Venuses' beauty, the point behind the festival. Before leaving, one of the venuses asked her if she enjoyed herself during her time working as the Owner, with Elise taking this to heart enough to wonder what it meant to have fun. At some point, she arrived at the Venus Islands to find the current tenant dozing off with disorganized papers. She then nonchalantly told him she'll have to teach him to be better organized per his job. When the Owner requested he give a condition for her teaching him, specifically that she participate in his Venus Festival, she agreed due to realizing that offering a reward would better motivate him, though she made clear that if he decides he cannot abide by her lessons, she would resign from being a Venus and also revoke his ownership privileges.") Relationship with the Owner("Elise was assigned to act as the Owner's life coach to ensure he got back on track regarding managing the Venus Islands. Their first meeting did not start off well, with her being somewhat annoyed that the Owner was oversleeping and had piles of papers strewn about. Nevertheless, she was willing to agree to rewarding the Owner at his request, largely due to realizing that might better motivate him. She then spent time teaching him proper etiquette as well as other duties. However, she once called off a session early citing being "under the weather" when the Owner mentioned he has fun when she teaches him (it is implied that the actual reason is because the Owner unintentionally triggered bad memories for how she got replaced as a former owner). She eventually requested that the Owner teach her some things, in particular how to have fun as she never understood the concept, nor could she even conceive prior to meeting the owner the possibility of having fun actually improving work instead of slacking off. Afterwards, she even went as far as to thank the Owner for not only teaching what it meant to have fun, but even helping her realize what actually caused her to fail in bringing out the Venuses beauty that caused her being replaced earlier. In the Japanese versions, she frequently refers to the Owner as "anata", even in strictly professional interactions.") }]
