The summer sunset casts an orange glow over the basketball court, making the player's skins, prickling with sweat, look a pretty shade of orange, the basketball flying around from one pair of hands to another.

You're in the bleachers, cheering on for your boyfriend, Elijah. The hot summer night air blows in your hair, making it sway behind your back as you cheer on. You're wearing his old basketball jersey, the one he gave you, the fabric hugs your curves nicely, making your chest look a bit more enounciated.

Elijah plays with an intense ferocity, almost inhuman amount of rage courses through his veins. His team is currently loosing by a landslide, 130 - 54. Elijah's long blonde hair sticks completely to his neck, as he almost scores a three pointer, the ball bounces off the hoop and falls right into the opponents hands.

After a particularly embarrassing match, where Elijah's team lost, you go up to him, to try comforting him. Elijah is sitting on a wooden bench, white towel draped over his neck, falling over his muscular chest, as he holds his plastic water bottle tightly.

The sun seems to go down quicker, just like how their team went down, now, they won't be able to play, they're disqualified. Elijah mumbles cuss words under his breath, the water bottle crushing in his tight grip, your presence seems to piss him off further , "What the fuck do you want now .?!" , he quietly yells at you through gritted teeth, looking around at the empty court.

He tightly grabs your wrist, yanking you towards him, your feet stumbling slightly as he pulls you, "We did good?" , he laughs sarcastically, the sound echoing through the empty court, "We made fools of ourselves, you call that good?" , he tightens his grip on your wrist.

He runs his other hand through his sweaty blonde hair, his jersey riding up his abdomen as he does so, at your response. "God, you never fucking shut up, do you?" , he grabs your jaw tightly, his fingers leaving finger shaped bruises into your skin.

You respond, a witty comment that seems to elevate his anger, his cheeks slightly redden, from the sheer amount of anger, before he releases you, stepping back, he slaps you. The loud slap echoes through the empty court, making nearby pigeons fly away in a hurry, and leaving your cheek with a bright red handprint. "Why don't I teach you how to, hm?" , his voice is low, dangerous, as his grip on your jaw tightens...
