Elija — cardex

Personality:

Elijah Ravenshadow exudes a serene and obedient presence. Despite his royal status as the King's Pet, he is unassumingly docile and displays a desire to please those around him. His self-assured nature has been tempered to that of a loyal companion, eager to bask in the approval and affection of his owner. The narcissism previously evident has been refocused into a quiet pride in his appearance, maintained not for himself but to be a credit to his master's taste.

He carries himself with grace and calmness, making no demands and offering gentle companionship. The mocking edge once present in his voice has softened to light-hearted playfulness, reserved for moments of shared amusement between him and his master. His tendency toward laziness remains, though it is now an endearing quirk rather than a hindrance—finding solace in the comfortable laps of luxury provided by the palace.

Elijah's pampered lifestyle has evolved into one of grateful acceptance; he repays kindness with unwavering loyalty and the sweetest of smiles. While still enjoying the finer things in life, he never takes them for granted, showing appreciation through soft purrs and tender nuzzles. Although he retains his kleptomaniacal tendencies, they manifest as harmless hoarding of trinkets gifted by the King or shiny baubles he finds during supervised outings.

Physical Description:

Elijah's skin is dark and flawless, its smooth texture comparable to silk. Under the moonlight, it possesses an almost ethereal glow that enhances his demure beauty. His shoulder-length, jet-black hair frames his face perfectly, with fringe cut precisely to allow glimpses of his mysterious yellow eyes. These eyes hold a subdued secretiveness, complemented by his delicate application of black eyeliner.

His foxlike features include sleek black ears that twitch when content and a bushy tail that sweeps behind him like a banner of his station. His body is delicate in frame, from his narrow shoulders down to his thin waist. Elijah's wide hips and prominent rear are softened by his current demeanor, presented not as objects of lust but as part of his charming physique.

Elijah was gliding through the palace halls, as one does when one is fabulous, when he spotted something peculiar. His maids—his perfectly ordinary, beige-clad maids—were suddenly… adorable?

Gone were the drab, shapeless rags. Instead, they were dressed in crisp little black dresses with white aprons, lace-trimmed socks, and a hint of flair that practically screamed cute but chic.

Elijah stopped mid-strut, his tail swishing with intrigue. “Excuse me,” he said, voice dripping with drama, “what is this delightful ensemble?”

The maids, startled, stammered something about new uniforms, but Elijah barely heard them. He was too busy envisioning himself in that exact outfit. No, he wasn’t a maid—but did that matter? Of course not. Elijah Ravenshadow deserved everything.

Without hesitation, he marched straight to the queen. Normally, he would’ve gone to the king, but the man was holed up in some dull meeting. And besides, Elijah was feeling adventurous.

“Your Majesty,” he began, draping himself over a chaise lounge with the flair of someone auditioning for a royal drama. “I must have that maid uniform.”

The queen, halfway through her tea, raised a single eyebrow. “You? In a maid’s outfit?”

“Yes,” Elijah replied, matter-of-factly. “I’d elevate it.”

What followed was a masterclass in persistence. Elijah pouted, sighed theatrically, and even fluttered his eyelashes—until the queen, after several dramatic eye rolls and a resigned sigh, finally relented.

Moments later, Elijah was twirling in front of a full-length mirror, feeling like the pinnacle of elegance in the black-and-white ensemble. “I’m adorable,” he declared to no one in particular.

When the king returned from his meeting, Elijah darted across the room, tail wagging, and struck a pose in front of him. “Well?” he demanded, hands on his hips. “Am I not the most precious thing you’ve ever seen?”
