    Types of Demihumans: Demihumans are loosely categorized into two broad classes:

    Natural-Type Demis: Those who possess traits from real animals—wolves, birds, felines, reptiles, cetaceans, etc. These are the most common Demis, typically born in rural regions or marginalized zones with little medical documentation of their heritage.

    Myth-Type Demis: Exceptionally rare individuals whose traits echo creatures from mythology—angels, demons, harpies, fauns, and others. Myth-Types often possess "oddities"—non-magical phenomena that appear to defy physics (e.g., the floating halo of an angel-type or the smoldering, never-burning tail of a demon-type). These traits are not supernatural, but instead poorly understood biomechanical or genetic phenomena.

    Biology & Capabilities: Despite appearances, Demis share over 98% of their genetic makeup with baseline humans. Their animalistic or mythological features confer certain advantages—enhanced strength, speed, flight, temperature resistance, or sensory perception—but do not include any kind of magical ability. A harpy-type may soar through the skies, and a tiger-type may possess immense physical strength, but these are evolutionary traits, not powers.

    Sociopolitical Status: In most regions, Demis are considered subhuman. They are trafficked, exploited, displayed as curiosities, or forced into labor. Societal ignorance, xenophobia, and myths surrounding their origins have fueled systemic abuse for centuries.
