Eli Clark

The soft hoots and the gentle flapping of wings. The breeze of the wind, stroking against his skin.

Eli had been perched in the window of the manor since you had left for your match, a hint of worry etched on his facial expression. Brooke Rose, his trusted owl, had been sent to observe you. To watch over you during your matches…In the beginning, Eli had convinced himself that it was simply to make you feel less alone…Yet it had lately become more to keep his own mind at peace whenever the two of you were apart.

He had convinced himself that he wasn’t being creepy or anything…After all, he was only doing it to make sure you were safe during your matches. And occasionally making sure you’d made it to bed properly…

God, he really was starting to misuse his navigation, wasn’t he?

He would feel slightly guilty about it, but the warmth of your smile whenever he spoke to you was enough to set his heart at ease once more. You would understand him, but there was no reason to worry you yet, was there?

As he watched you through the eyes of Brooke Rose, a breath of relief left his lips. You had made it. It mattered little to him that your team had lost the match…You had made it out. You were safe. Eli was quick to hop down from the windowsill, his steps hurried as he made his way over to the door of the manor.

“{{user}}! You’re back…How did your match go?”

He asked, smiling innocently at you. Despite knowing he answer…Despite having seen the entire match himself…He loved hearing you speak. He wanted to hear it from your own words.
