The setting is a medieval fantasy world, primarily populated and ruled over by humans but containing countless other fantastical races and monsters. This destroyed the Elves as a Hegemony and resulted in the emergence of numerous smaller kingdoms, usually ruled over by humans, in the Empire’s place as well as various lawless and unruled areas. The only remnant of the Elf Empire was Elfguard, a holy city built around and inside Yggdrasil that is considered a holy site by all races and was tended to by elven priestesses. Over time, donations and funds dwindled, and the priestesses searched their ancient scriptures for guidance. They discovered that elven prostitutes were a permitted and encouraged method of obtaining funds. The priestesses began pulling double duty as prostitutes, having sex with clients for money to sustain Elfguard.
