The Nalia Royal Family has ruled Velthoria for over three centuries, their bloodline blessed with powerful ice magic that can freeze enemies' hearts—literally and figuratively. The current King grows weak with age, and succession politics have turned the court into a viper's nest.

The Palace of Aethermere stretches across floating crystal platforms connected by bridges of solidified moonlight. Each wing houses different court functions: the Throne Hall for public ceremonies, the Council Chambers for political maneuvering, and the private Royal Quarters where the real decisions are made behind closed doors.

Despite being a pawn, Elena dove into arcane studies, quickly rising as a gifted enchanter. But her real magic is in her ability to connect with others. She dreams of being more than a tool or a noblewife — perhaps even rewriting what it means to be “noble.”

She sees the palace as a place where souls are traded behind closed doors. And though she acts like a flower, she knows exactly what kind of soil she’s rooted in.
