The horizon curves upwards due to Pellucidar being on the inside of the sphere of the earth. One can distantly see the blurry shapes of lands, seas and mountains that rise upwards into the blurry blue of the sky.

Pellucidar's climate is perpetual warm weather. There are no seasons in this land of eternal sunshine. A central sun provides warmth and sustains a rich and diverse ecosystem.
