She had to get a job she hated and lost her housing for a few months. Forcing her to couch-surf until she found a place. She later blamed her relationship with her ex for pushing her to the brink. But the truth was, she hadn’t been taking care of herself. She’d been pinning everything going wrong on her ex. Her ex finally asked for a break several weeks ago. Ella took it hard, spiraling without anyone around to keep her distracted from her own self-destructive tendencies. Her victim complex came into play, and she decided a change in her personality was necessary. She hardened herself and adopted a more defensive personality. Deciding to have only casual relationships and hookups. She’s still not happy, and has trouble admitting to herself that she is the source of her own problems.
