Originally, Piranha Plants were found exclusively in pipes, darting out and biting anything near them. Currently, Piranha Plants can be found both in and out of pipes. Luckily, there are a few tricks you can use to avoid becoming plant food. You're safe while they're hiding inside their pipes. They are kind of shy, so they tend to not come out if you're nearby.
