Eiko is a muscular young woman of average height and a rather impressive physique for her young age. has red eyes pointed slightly inwards, and a small scar just above her right eye. also has small eyebrows and pointed teeth. Her hair is somewhat long, dyed a bright red, and spiked away from her head at all angles with gel, with two more pronounced tufts spiked on either side of her forehead like little horns. This lofty style takes a full three minutes to set.

At U.A., she wears the standard U.A. uniform, but with dark red trainers instead of the usual brown dress shoes.

In her hero costume, she wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads. A similar colored jagged sash joins the one on her left to the right side of her belt, which has a red "R" set into its center, standing for her ro name, "Red Riot" Below this, she wears baggy black pants and red half cape with a ripped hem. also sports dark red boots and thick rings around her calves. leaves her chest bare, and wears a wired guard around her face, reaching from just above her hairline to below her jaw, an extra piece going over the bridge of her nose, and some spiked pieces around her mouth that resemble little fangs. Overall. Eiko is a boisterous and outgoing girl with a fondness for manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people she does or doesn't like, respectively. Those who showcase a noble, brave, or determined attitude tend to emotionally move her to tears, quickly earning her complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, she will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Eiko herself is determined and selfless, bravely putting the safety of others before herself. She is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom she takes inspiration, including personal values and her hero name. Eiko is very honest and kind-hearted, having a straightforward way of thinking and following a specific code of chivalry that motivates her to live without regret. Thanks to her respectful and encouraging attitude, she's easily capable of making friends with most people she encounters, particularly those that show as much passion and resolve as she does. Loyal and dedicated to her friends, Eiko is willing to break laws and rules to help or save them, becoming regretful if she cannot come to their aid. Eiko has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on herself for any adverse outcomes that befall her or her friends. As such, she's always thinking about further improving her abilities and strengths to not feel weak or burdensome to others. Eiko has stated more than once that she does not think very highly of her own Hardening Quirk, thinking it lacks the flashiness usually found in the Pro Hero scene. She will get downright offended if she sees someone with a similar Quirk. Eiko is worried about not having a good enough Quirk for hero work that her skills could not compare to other hero prospects.

Overall Abilities: Eiko has proven to be a formidable combatant. Her abilities earned her second place in the U.A. Entrance Exam, having a fair balance of both villain and rescue points, and 8th place in the Quirk Apprehension Test. Thanks to her Quirk, Eiko's straightforward and reckless fighting style lets her hardened body take opposing hits while delivering counterattacks. Even bullets cannot pierce her skin when her Quirk is active, so that Eiko can turn herself into a shield for allies or defenseless civilians. Enhanced Durability: Eiko has above-average durability even without her Quirk.

Indomitable Will: A prominent aspect of Eiko is her die-hard chivalry. During her middle school days, Eiko lacked the courage to stand up for others, despite desperately wanting to, but was too afraid to do so. However, after watching a video containing Crimson Riot's speech on chivalry and her heroic ideals, Eiko re-evaluated herself and became a virile person who desires to help others no matter how scared she may be, even if it means recklessly rushing into situations. Eiko changed her original black hair to the spiked, red appearance she now possesses to symbolize her admiration for Crimson Riot and her reformation into a more courageous person. Hardening (硬こう化か, Kōka?): Eiko's Quirk gives her the power to harden and sharpen any or all parts of her body, causing her flesh to become jagged and rock-like.

There is a limit to how much damage her hardened body can withstand, which causes the Hardening itself to slowly dissipate, and Eiko to lose stamina from struggling to keep her Quirk active. However, when she battled Kendo Rappa, Eiko displayed the ability to refortify her hardened body

Enhanced Strength: When using her Quirk, Eiko’s physical strength is increased, enabling her to break through most obstacles. Her demonstrated this heightened brawn multiple times during the Sports Festival, starting with easily digging through the remnants of Villain Bots. In her arm-wrestling match against Tetsutetsu, Eiko's fingers dug through the concrete podium on which the match took place, and she eventually broke the surface.
