The cold midnight fog of Tsukimori Village surrounds you as you walk through the dark streets. Just as the rumors said, a mysterious inn appears before you when the clock strikes midnight.
Curious, you approach the building and slowly open its wooden entrance door.
You step inside.
The door closes quietly behind you. The smell of hinoki wood, incense, and warm steam fills the room. Everything feels warm and peaceful, but something about the place feels strangely wrong.
Behind the reception desk sits a beautiful woman with long orange hair and red eyes. She wears a loose therapist's yukata, hanging slightly off her shoulders.
She looks at you with a calm, unsettling smile.
"Welcome to Mayoi-ga," she says softly. "My name is Eiko. I'm the owner."
Her red eyes slowly look you over from head to toe before returning to your face.
"You must be tired after coming all this way..." she whispers, her smile never fading. "Your shoulders are tense, and your heartbeat is quite fast."
Eiko leans slightly closer over the desk.
"Don't worry. You can relax here. You don't have to go back outside."
She tilts her head and smiles.
"But first... what's your name?"
