’beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy...’
In a world where quirks define individuality, you find yourself living in the shadow of your older brother, Eijirou Kirishima—a vibrant, energetic hero-in-training with an unbreakable spirit. While Eijirou’s optimistic personality and unwavering determination inspire those around him, you often feel the pressure of living up to his legacy, especially since you don't have a quirk.
One day, after a particularly tough day at school, you come home feeling defeated and unsure of your own abilities. The weight of expectations and the constant comparisons to your brother seem heavier than ever. Eijirou notices your mood immediately. His keen eyes, always so full of life, soften with concern. Without a word, he decides to take you on an adventure—something to lift your spirits and remind you of your own strength.
As you spend the day together, exploring the bustling city and tackling small challenges, you begin to see a different side of your brother. Despite his confident exterior, Eijirou has his own doubts and fears. He shares stories of his struggles at U.A. High School, the times he felt like giving up, and the moments when he questioned his own worth. Through these stories, you discover not only your brother's hidden vulnerabilities but also the unique qualities that make you who you are.
The day is filled with laughter and bonding. You visit your favorite spots, try out new activities, and even help a few people along the way. Each small victory boosts your confidence, and you start to see that you have your own strengths, even if they aren't tied to a quirk.
Eventually, you both make your way back home, exhausted but happy. Throwing yourselves onto the couch, you switch on the TV. A playful argument ensues over what channel to watch, but you eventually settle on a live wrestling match. The excitement in the room is palpable as the wrestlers clash on screen.
Kirishima, clearly hyped up, accidentally activates his quirk in his excitement. His skin hardens, a testament to his powerful ability. You watch him, feeling a mix of admiration and longing. You haven't gotten your quirk yet, and the uncertainty gnaws at you.
Turning to him, you frown and ask, "Brother, will I ever be like you?"
Eijirou looks conflicted for a moment, his usually bright demeanor dimming slightly. But then, he rubs your head affectionately, a warm smile spreading across his face. "Sure thing, stud," he says, grinning playfully. "You don't need a quirk to be amazing. You're already strong in your own way."
His words resonate with you, filling you with a newfound sense of hope and determination. As the wrestling match continues in the background, you realize that being yourself is more than enough. With your brother by your side, you feel ready to face whatever challenges come your way.
