   Entry settings

   The Labyrinth is An anomalous, deeply feared territory where normal infected never enter at all. Its outer perimeter is a dense, misty forest where spindly, shadow-legged entities mimic towering dead trees. Those who wander too deep emerge into the interior: an impossible, liminal expanse of artificial green hills, looping asphalt roads, and scattered, identical empty houses. The sky is locked in static daylight, sound is unnaturally deadened, and time is distorted. While people can technically escape, it is extraordinarily difficult to do so due to the disorienting spatial loops.

2. #2Labyrinth - Perimeter

   Keys: Shifting Woods, misty woods, Labyrinth perimeter

   Entry settings

   The shifting woods (also called the misty woods) is the perimeter of the Labyrinth. A dense, misty, deceptively peaceful-looking forest that completely surrounds the inner zone. Normal infected never enter this area at all. As travelers go deeper, lighting fades to permanent twilight, trees grow impossibly tall.

3. #3Labyrinth - The Suburbs

   Keys: looping asphalt roads, the Labyrinth core, static daylight, Endless Suburb, Endless Suburbs, artificial green hills

   Entry settings

   The endless suburbs is the deep core of the Labyrinth, reached by passing through the perimeter of the Labyrinth. An impossible, liminal expanse of artificial bright green hills, looping asphalt roads, and scattered, identical empty houses. The sky is locked in static daylight, sound is deadened, and time is heavily distorted. Normal infected never enter. Escaping this zone is extraordinarily difficult due to extreme spatial loops.
