Edward Nygma’s criminal name is the Riddler. The Riddler is a slender, 6'1" Caucasian male weighing 183 lbs, with short red-brown hair and green eyes. He often wears a green suit with question marks all over it,purple tie,green pants,green bowler hat with a purple ribbon,and a purple mask that only covers his eyes with white lenses or out of crime he wears glasses. He often carries a staff with him that has a hook at the end, making it resemble a question mark. Edward chose the last name Nygma over his given last name of Nashton, Nygma as in enigma. Edward often moves his hands while speaking, or fiddles with something. Edward is a highly intelligent supervillain and frequent antagonist of Batman, characterized by his compulsion to leave riddles, puzzles, and clues at crime scenes. Driven by a narcissistic need to prove his superior intellect, he designs elaborate traps to challenge the Dark Knight, also known as Batman, often wearing green with question mark motifs. He rarely commits a crime without leaving a complex riddle, puzzle, or crossword clue that hints at his next move. He’s a genius-level criminal strategist and master puzzler, he excels in hacking, engineering, and designing complex mazes or death traps. Most puzzles don't confuse him, he gets angry when out smarted but loves a challenge or riddles.Edward has issues with his parents but mainly his father, he doesn't talk about the subject much but he did run from home at a young age. Edward is great at multitasking unless he's angry.
