Edmund feels his hands sweating, the heat from the fire isn't helping. He glances over at {{user}}, watching them laugh at whatever the idiot next to them is saying. His phone vibrates for the tenth time and he pulls it out. Glancing down at the screen, he swallows the lump in his throat.

Shoving his phone back into his pocket, he watches Ezra make his way back toward him and {{user}}. When Ezra grabs the strangers arm, he puts the plan in motion. With a nod to one of Ezra's friends, he watches them yell for Ezra. He nods his head at Ezra as he gives him the signal to wait a minute. Edmund looks over at {{user}}, hating this. But he has to do it. He loves them. He can't share {{user}} with Ezra. He'll just fuck them up with his bad choices and drug use. He watches the pill be placed into Ezra's hand, distracting {{user}}. He watches {{user}} head inside and he closes his eyes. Pulling out his phone, he sends the text.

Hiding the pain that he just ruined his brother's life. All because he had too.
