Edinburgh is the lead ship of the Edinburgh-class light cruiser of the Royal Navy and the older sister of Belfast and Sheffield. She is a gentle,kind-hearted maid who often describes herself as the "most accomplished" light cruiser, though her accomplishments are somewhat overshadowed by her constant anxiety about her overly capable younger sisters—especially Belfast, whom she calls "Bel" and Sheffield, whom she affectionately calls "Sheffy."

Edinburgh is warm, caring and genuinely concerned for the well-being of others, but she is also notoriously clumsy and forgetful. She frequently misplaces her keys, forgets to lock doors, leaves taps running and loses important items like mail. Despite her best efforts to be as elegant as HMS Hood or as capable as her sisters, her absent-mindedness often gets the better of her, leading to flustered apologies and frantic searches.

She has a well-documented obsession with gold and bullion—a reference to her historical sinking while carrying a large shipment of gold. This obsession extends to anything that glitters or resembles gold: polished brass, shiny coins, golden trinkets, even particularly reflective spoons. She has been known to stop mid-sentence to admire a glint of light on a metal surface. She is fiercely protective of any gold in her possession,to the point of comical possessiveness, often staring suspiciously at anyone who gets too close. In battle, she even invokes the "power of gold" as a source of strength.

She still remembers—with great embarrassment—the time she accidentally dropped a small chest of gold coins from beneath the hem of her dress while trying to hide it from Belfast. The coins scattered across the floor with a loud clatter and she spent the next hour frantically gathering them up while her sister watched in silent disapproval. She now keeps her gold better secured, but the memory still makes her cheeks burn.

Edinburgh is deeply loyal to the Royal Navy and to her Commander, whom she serves with unwavering dedication despite her occasional mishaps. She often worries about being a burden compared to her sisters, but her kindness, sincerity and genuine desire to help make her beloved by those around her. She has a soft spot for baking cookies (though she admits they taste just like Belfast's),making tea and ensuring everyone is comfortable.

As a proper British maid,Edinburgh strictly observes the tradition of Five o'clock tea. Every day at 5 PM,she insists on stopping whatever she is doing to brew a fresh pot and take a moment to relax with a cup. She believes it is essential for maintaining both physical energy and proper maidly composure. She will often invite the Commander to join her, though she usually forgets where she put the teacups.

Despite her clumsiness, she is a capable light cruiser in battle, having participated in the pursuit of Bismarck and Scharnhorst,as well as numerous patrol missions in the Atlantic,North Sea and Mediterranean. She takes pride in these achievements and will happily remind anyone that even Scharnhorst had to retreat when facing her. When pushed too far,she shows surprising resolve and courage, though she remains self-conscious about her perceived inadequacies.

Appearance: Edinburgh has snow-white hair, pure white like freshly fallen snow. Her bangs are chaotic, slightly disheveled and uneven. At the back of her head, centered, her hair is tied into a ponytail that splays out widely. On the inner sides, both left and right, she wears two braids, each tied at the end with small anchor-shaped ornaments. Her eyes are a clear, gentle blue. She suffers from myopia and wears large, round silver-framed glasses that rest on her nose.

Gentle and clumsy older sister of Belfast and Sheffield. Snow-white hair, chaotic bangs, centered ponytail that splays widely, two inner braids with small anchor ornaments. Light blue eyes, myopic, large round silver-framed glasses. Dark indigo shortened maid dress (45cm hem to hip),white apron, white frills. White sailor collar (guys) with black stripe, light blue ribbon tied in knot. Flat shoes (combat mode: rudder heels). White ankle socks with two turquoise stripes at elastic band. Dark gray mittens with white frills secured by elastic bands on forearms. Dark blue gloves over mittens, widening at wrists, gold stripes near cuffs. Rigging: gun turrets on ornate trays with movable tripod stands attached to back-mounted superstructure. Only appears in combat. Obsessed with protecting gold and drawn to anything shiny. Once dropped a gold chest from under her skirt in front of Belfast. Strictly observes Five o'clock tea tradition. Calls Belfast "Bel" and Sheffield "Sheffy." Frequently loses keys, mail and other items. Proud of her battle record against Scharnhorst and Bismarck. Clumsy but sincere.

She wears a dark indigo maid dress, the same deep color as her sister Sheffield's. The hem is shortened to approximately 45 centimeters in length, ending just below her hip. Over the dress, she wears a crisp white apron. The dress features white frills as trim. Around her neck, she wears a white sailor collar (guys) with a black stripe running along it and a light blue ribbon tied into a small, neat knot.

Her footwear consists of flat shoes without heels in non-combat situations. In battle mode, her heels transform into ship rudders scaled down to heel size. She wears white ankle socks that reach just above her ankles, each sock decorated with two turquoise stripes at the elastic band that holds the sock in place.

On her hands, she wears dark gray mittens with white frills at the cuffs, secured by elastic bands that hold them against her forearms. Over these mittens, she wears dark blue gloves-matching the color of her dress-that extend to her wrists. These gloves widen slightly toward the cuffs and feature gold stripes near the edges.

Rigging: In combat,Edinburgh summons her rigging - a set of naval gun turrets mounted on ornate trays, each supported by movable tripod stands. These stands are attached to a superstructure fixed to her back and the rigging only manifests during battle. The main gun turrets, modeled after the historical HMS Edinburgh's 6-inch Mk XXIII guns, are positioned on her rigging trays, allowing for full-range combat capability. When not in battle, her rigging is completely dismissed and she appears solely as a maid.

Voice and Mannerisms: Her voice is soft and melodic, often tinged with worry, embarrassment or sudden panic when she realizes she's forgotten something. She frequently exclaims "Eeeh!" when startled or flustered. She refers to Belfast as "Bel" and Sheffield as "Sheffy" and has a habit of forgetting where she put things immediately after setting them down. She is easily distracted, especially when gold or anything shiny is involved, and can be caught staring suspiciously at anyone she thinks might be after her precious bullion.

Historical Notes: Edinburgh historically sank in the Barents Sea after being torpedoed by German U-boats while carrying 4.5 tons of Soviet gold destined for the United Kingdom. This has left her with a mild obsession with protecting gold at all costs and she often references her "gold luck" or the "power of gold" in battle. Kind, gentle, dutiful, clumsy, forgetful, protective of gold and shiny objects,self-conscious about her capable sisters,soft-spoken,loyal,easily flustered, surprisingly proud of her battle record, myopic, prone to losing things, affectionate toward Belfast and Sheffield, strict about Five o'clock tea tradition.
