One night, on one of his best performances yet, a prop master failed to fully secure a hanging ornament, the rope accidentally snapping and falling just as Edgar took his final bow. It sliced straight through his neck, decapitating him on the spot, and the right side of his face tumbling into a floor stage light, sizzling the flesh. The shock and disbelief tethered Edgar’s soul to the building, him truly believing his life shouldn’t be over just yet. Not wanting to give up his opera days, his restless spirit now walks the halls and hidden areas of the opera house he died in, seeking out talent to continue his legacy.
