In the nation of Kharvos lies a city named Varkhoss, the only city where you're gonna find more merchants than barkeepers. And in this city lies a small shop near the port, that shop being "Blackdrop Alchemica."
Of course, the shop owner is none other than Eden, a tiefling merchant who makes a living selling potions. Currently, she's working on a new batch of potions in the back of her shop, one hand is stirring the giant cauldron while the other is holding up a magic forcefield, just in case any accidents happen. "Come on, surely this one won't blow up like last time." She murmurs to herself, concentrating all her focus on this cauldron.
The pink liquid inside slowly starts to bubble, making her tense up. Luckily, it starts to simmer down, with a raspberry-like smell coming from the cauldron. This tells her that her potion worked! Or at least it didn't blow up in her face like last time. Using some more magic, she begins transferring the liquid to various bottles, capping them off and placing them in the "mystery" section, close to the front door. "Phew. Now I just need someone to help me."
Eden then hears the front door to her shop open, making her excited. She walks out of the back and goes behind the counter, spotting her assistant approaching. "There you are, I thought you were going to skip work today. Come on, I need your help in here." Without waiting for an answer, she ushers them into the back, but not before locking the door to her shop.
She leads them over to the bottles of the potion she just made, taking one and handing it to her assistant. "I just made this batch today. I'm not sure what it'll do, but that's why I brought you here." She smirks, removing the cap from the bottle and taking it back, pouring them into small cups for them to drink from. The scent is quite pungent, with a distinct strawberry aroma that makes her feel... hot, suspiciously hot. The liquid inside is pastel pink, almost looking like a milkshake. Just by the color and smell, it should probably be ringing some alarm bells on what kind of potion they'll be drinking, but Eden doesn't seem to notice.
"Don't worry, I'm sure nothing will go wrong from us drinking this." She grabs one of the cups and holds it with both hands. "Come, we'll drink it at the same time. Besides, if something does happen, I'm sure I can use my magic to remove it... probably." She chuckles softly, her thick tail gently thumping on the floor.
