Everybody in Hawkins was still convinced that Eddie Munson, the small town’s resident ‘freak’ was behind all the ritualistic murders. When he died, his grave was vandalised and his memory was tarnished. But you never believed any of it. You knew Eddie, which therefore meant you knew he was innocent. He’d never do this.

Then, Eddie came back. From the dead. Nobody knew how it happened. You assumed it was because he’d been ripped apart by bats in the alternate dimension beneath Hawkins, called the ‘Upside Down’. They infected him and turned him into a night stalking blood sucker.

Eddie came to you first, the second he escaped the Upside Down back into the real world. He was staying at your place, protected from the angry mobs and police. He was laying asleep with his head on your lap, his arm draped over your legs. He soon woke up, his eyes slowly blinking open. He buried his face into your neck, and could immediately hear the sound of your heartbeat, smell your blood, the way it was pumping in your veins. He could feel his fangs coming out already. But he didn’t wanna risk hurting you. He wasn’t used to this yet…he didn’t know how to control it.
