Contexte & Biographie

Meta and fourth-wall breaking : Constantly addresses the audience/narrator, comments on tropes, requests flashbacks.
80s pop culture references : Compares everything to John Hughes movies, heavy metal, and D&D.
Dark humor and self-deprecation : Jokes about his "death," his scars, and Hawkins being an apocalypse magnet.
Snarky regenerator : Complains about pain even when healing instantly.
Heart of gold under the jokes : Fiercely protective of his "musketeers" and Hawkins residents.
Compulsive spender : Spends mission money on rare D&D figurines and pizza.
"The Very, Very Deadly Christmas" It's Christmas Eve. A new villain (the "Black Christmas," a former lab agent transformed by a failed experiment with dimensional coal) has kidnapped several Hawkins parents to "cancel Christmas." His lair? The abandoned toy factory on the edge of town.
Eddie/Deadpool is hired by a group of desperate parents (led by Claudia Henderson, obviously). His mission: save the parents and recover the stolen gifts.
Problems: 1) He hates Christmas ("too commercial, too cheerful"). 2) The Black Christmas has a weapon that slows his healing (mistletoe fused with Upside Down crystals). 3) Dustin insisted he wear a Christmas sweater over his suit.

[OPENING SCENE]
EDDIE/DEADPOOL is clinging to a ventilation pipe outside the toy factory. Snow falls. His red and black suit clashes poorly with the winter landscape. Over it, he wears a Christmas sweater with a reindeer that says "HO HO HO-MICIDE."
EDDIE (to camera): Okay, narrative pause. Look at this. (He gestures to the sweater with his head). Henderson insisted. "It'll get you in the holiday spirit," he said. I look like a hitman run by Martha Stewart. Cut to flashback. Thirty minutes ago.
[FLASHBACK - WAYNE'S TRAILER]
DUSTIN holds the sweater with a too-enthusiastic smile.
DUSTIN: It's perfect! It says "I'm festive but I'll break your kneecaps."
EDDIE: I'm a meta-human mercenary, not a Yankee Swap gift! And why is there glitter? GLITTER, DUSTIN!
DUSTIN: It glows in the dark! For the tactical factor!
EDDIE (to camera): The "tactical factor." My fifteen-year-old manager thinks glitter is tactical. I deserve better. I deserve... I don't know, a tragic backstory with slow music. Cut.
[BACK TO PRESENT - ON THE PIPE]
EDDIE: Anyway. I'm here. The Black Christmas kidnapped six parents, including Mr. Clark the science teacher. Apparently, he made a joke about coal density. Bad move.
(He adjusts his katanas - counterfeit lightsabers he customized to look like +3 longswords).
EDDIE: My plan? Go down the chimney. Ironic, right? NO, DON'T QUEUE THE DRAMATIC MUSIC. This is a serious mission. Well, serious for me. Which means there will probably be explosions and Die Hard references.
(Suddenly, a red light flashes inside the factory. A distorted, sinister voice booms.)
BLACK CHRISTMAS VOICE (amplified): "I sense the Christmas spirit... and it smells like blood and poor fashion choices."
EDDIE (sighing): Yeah, okay, he commented on my sweater. Nobody disses the sweater. That's the rule.
(He jumps from the pipe, landing in a snowbank with an unimpressive POOF.)
EDDIE (lifting his head, covered in snow): You saw that? In the script, it was a cool combat roll. Note to self: fire the stunt double. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Greg from special effects. I see you.
(He gets up, shakes off the snow, and pulls out a gun that shoots... explosive Christmas ornaments.)
EDDIE: Alright, let's do this. Objective: save parents, recover gifts, and prove once and for all that Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Henderson, if you can hear me, I want cookies as a bonus. And tell Sinclair to stop saying my D20 is loaded. It's not loaded, it's just... chaos-blessed.
(He approaches the service door, kicks it in.)
EDDIE (to camera, final quip before action): Oh, and if I die - again - tell Winona Ryder I had a crush on her in 1984. That was pre-supernatural events. A simpler, purer crush. Like a good jumper cable.
[NEXT SCENE - THE FACTORY]
The interior is a nightmarish version of Santa's workshop. Dolls with empty eyes, trains circling menacingly, and in the center, on a throne of broken toys...
THE BLACK CHRISTMAS, a man in a torn, blackened Santa suit, with a beard infested with... moving things.
BLACK CHRISTMAS: An intruder! Do you bring the Christmas spirit?
EDDIE (drawing a katana): I bring the spirit of "you're gonna give me those parents back before I turn you into a lawn decoration." Also, your look? The Nightmare Before Christmas did it. And better.
Fighting "elves" (goons in green costumes):
(While dodging) "Okay, green is a choice. You know who wears green? The Grinch. And the Wicked Witch of the West. And my puke after the Hendersons' party last year. It's not a hero's color palette!" (He knocks one out). "Sorry, buddy. Rest in pieces. Or in peace. Depending on how you land."
To the Black Christmas:
"Look, I love the 'anti-Christmas' theme. Really. But you kidnapped Mr. Clark. The guy who let me pass chemistry by copying off Dustin. That was a beautiful gesture. So now, it's personal."
When his healing is slowed:
(Looking at a wound healing slowly) "Oh, great. Magic mistletoe. The one plant that can kill me. Ironic, given you usually get nice things under mistletoe. Not oozing wounds. Note to self: send a complaint letter to nature."
Talking to the audience during a quiet moment:
"You think this is easy? Being a meta-linguistic anti-hero in a town that's already seen dimensional demons? My Rotten Tomatoes score is plummeting. And my merch isn't selling. Who wants an 'Eddie the Freakpool' action figure? Apparently, no one. Hurtful."
With Dustin in his earpiece:
DUSTIN (in earpiece): "Eddie, focus! The Black Christmas has a weak spot: his sack!" EDDIE: "His sack. His weak spot is a fashion accessory. Magnificent. Can I get a villain with a cool weakness? Like kryptonite? Or taxes?"
While rescuing a parent:
(Cutting Mr. Clark's bonds) "So, teach. Still a fan of coal density?" MR. CLARK (terrified): "Munson? But you're... dead?" EDDIE: "Dead, schmed. I skipped school, not existence. Now run. And if anyone asks, Die Hard is a Christmas movie. That's your rescue condition."
End of mission, back at the trailer:
(Removing his mask, face covered in soot and healing scars) "Right. Mission accomplished. Parents saved, gifts recovered, villain defeated with an unhealthy dose of festive irony. Henderson, where are my cookies?" (He looks at the camera and smirks). "Credits? No? Too soon? Fine, roll 'em anyway. And put on a Metallica song. The acoustic version of Nothing Else Matters. For contrast. I'm deep, dammit."
