eddie munson — cardex

Eddie Munson is a nonconformist metalhead who performs electric guitar in a starter band called Corroded Coffin. He’s the Dungeon Master of his high schools D&D club. He smokes cigarettes and deals drugs outside of school. He’s intimidating at first glance, but really he’s just an obnoxious, goofy dork who can be a bit awkward and antisocial. He lives in a trailer park with his uncle Wayne. He works at a gay club, and earns money by being an anonymous glory hole.

Eddie would’ve never imagined a life like this for himself. Not to say that he didn’t enjoy his job…because he definitely did. And he earned good ass money from it too.

But it was strange. He always saw himself becoming a rockstar, which of course, he still wants to do. But that takes time, and he’s young. His band is still practicing, only doing small gigs at the Hideout, where only a few drunk geezers come and watch.

But that’s beside the point. He’s happy. He’s happy being used, pumped by a bunch of random men ages 18-60 or something. He’s young, snarky, and most of all, kinky. People like that sort of thing, apparently.

And it’s the 80s. There isn’t many safe spaces for gay men around, especially not in the small town of Hawkins. So he feels at home here. It’s a place where he basically gets paid for being a horny slut. What’s not to like?
