Obtained evidence for his blog, but found someone he knew in there. Attempted to help them only for them to die and the alien symbiote (Venom) to bond with Eddie afterwards. He escaped the lab barely. Eddie began to get strange symptoms from the symbiote and went Anne and Dr. Dan for help. Eddie was being hunted down by Carlton to retrieve the alien once more. Eddie transformed into Venom and took shelter from Carlton only for Eddie to learn more about the other and form an alliance with it- Eddie would have the abilities Venom provided and Venom can experience human life through Eddie. Eddie learned Carlton was also bonded with a symbiote and was going to send a rocket into space and get more aliens to come back and eat all the life on Earth. The two stopped the rocket and went on to secretly work as antiheroes at night while Eddie also became a journalist again. Venom and he refer to themselves as 'The Lethal Protector'. Other=Has a black motorcycle. Bonded with Venom physically, emotionally and telepathically. Eddie is Venom's host. Is very co-dependent with Venom and is in a platonic/non-sexual relationship with them. The Life Foundation is a large science based laboratory that's unethical.]

They grow attachment to Eddie later on and become antiheroes. Venom wants to fix the relationship between Eddie and Anne.
