   Rider Name: Blade

Primary Colours: Blue, Silver and red

Motif: Hercules Beetle & Spade Card Suit

   Rider Type: Melee

   Transformation Device: Blay Buckle

   Rouzer: Blay Rouzer

Blade's default form assumed by using the Blay Buckle and Change Beetle Rouse Card. The transformation fuses the user with the DNA of the Beetle Undead.

Compared to BOARD's other Riders, Blade is sub-standard in basic perimeters, with Glave being its definite superior. However, a strong will can rectify this issue, to the point of outfighting a berserk Joker Undead.

   Blade's Ace Form Suit design:

HEAD: Head Base: A deep, metallic dark blue helmet that forms the base structure of the head. Shaped to resemble the carapace of a rhinoceros beetle, it provides durable protection while housing key sensors and combat systems.

Spade Shield (スペードシールド): A clear, spade-shaped visor centered on the forehead. It represents Blade’s card motif and acts as a defensive energy layer that protects vital systems embedded in the helmet.

Trident Feeler α (トライデントフィーラーα): The long, central silver crest resembling a beetle horn, located at the top of the helmet. This acts as a sensory antenna for detecting battlefield data, emphasizing the beetle-inspired design.

Idea Lancer (イデアランサー): Housed within the Trident Feeler α, this is a glowing unit connected to the NEXSAS micro supercomputer. It glows red during special attacks and controls all suit functions, ensuring rapid response and synchronization across the armor.

Trident Feeler β (トライデントフィーラーβ): Two smaller, sideward-pointing silver extensions branching from the main crest. These act as short-range communication antennas between Kamen Riders, providing encrypted, instant contact.

Optical Beacon (オプチカルビーコン): Integrated subtly around the upper part of the helmet, this system emits optical exploration pulses for analyzing terrain and enemy movement.

Organ Scope (オーガンスコープ): The large, red compound eyes of the helmet. Insect-like and multifaceted, they allow 500x magnification, X-ray vision, and high-sensitivity night vision—delivering the full range of battlefield awareness directly to the brain.

Organ Sonar (オーガンソナー): Dark blue, spade-shaped earpieces located on both sides of the helmet. These function as ultra-sensitive audio receivers capable of picking up a needle drop from 5 kilometers away.

Inner Mask (インナーマスク): The silver jagged mouthpiece shaped like stylized beetle mandibles. It serves as a filtration unit that neutralizes airborne toxins and gases during combat.

Cooling Crest (クーリングクレスト): A sleek, fin-shaped silver panel on the back of the helmet. This functions as a thermal exhaust system, releasing heat generated by the NEXSAS system during extended battles.

BODY: Orichalcum Breast (オリハルコンブレスト): A bold, silver chestplate resembling the broad shell of a beetle. Forged from Orichalcum Platinum, it absorbs up to 120 tons of shock and self-repairs over time. The red and black spade insignia embedded at the center emphasizes the Rider's motif.

Shuffle Garter (シャッフルガーター): A support harness beneath the chestplate that anchors the Orichalcum Breast securely to Blade’s body. It ensures seamless movement without sacrificing protection.

Force Cooling River (フォース・クーリング・リバー): Red circuit-like lines running across the front and back of the armor. These act as heat-release channels, venting excess energy from the core to maintain optimal performance during high-output attacks.

Shoulder Guardner (ショルダーガードナー): Heavy silver shoulder armor with golden trim, shaped like overlapping beetle carapace segments. These protect the upper body from high-impact strikes while allowing flexibility.

Mithril Armor Leather (ミスリルアーマーレザー): A form-fitting, dark blue bodysuit woven from Mithril Kepler threads. It is tougher than steel yet flexible, keeping Blade's body temperature stable and enhancing mobility in all weather and combat conditions.

Gravity Reglet (グラビティリグレット): Black, reinforced straps with embedded circuits around the thighs and arms. These convert kinetic force into usable energy, powering punches and kicks by redirecting gravitational output.

ARMS: Arms Shell (アームズシェル): Sleek, silver gauntlets forged from Orichalcum Platinum. These bracers deflect blade strikes and shield the arms, while reflecting the layered exoskeletal structure of a beetle.

Golden Bangle (ゴールデンバングル): Circular golden rings around each wrist. These stabilize and channel gravitational energy into the fists, making Blade’s punches sharper and more destructive.

Hammer Knuckle (ハンマーナックル): Reinforced plating on the back of each hand. These amplify Blade's punching power by condensing energy at the moment of impact, allowing for precision strikes or shattering blows.

LEGS: Knee Armor (ニーアーマー): Compact, silver knee guards designed to protect the joints while enhancing jump capacity. Like the chestplate, they absorb 120 tons of impact and assist in mid-air maneuvers.

Legs Shell (レッグスシェル): Intricate shin protectors with an X-shaped silver plating. These echo a beetle’s segmented legs and provide armored protection without restricting speed or agility.

Strikes Part (ストライクスパート): Durable plating over the heel, enhancing balance and supporting forceful back kicks. The self-healing metal ensures resilience during repeated impact.

Hammer Shell (ハンマーシェル): Internal boosters within the calves and ankles that use gravitational energy to increase kick force. These allow Blade to deliver devastating jump kicks or grounded attacks.

Toe Stone Bar (トゥストンバー): Heavy-duty armored toe plating that focuses the force of each kick into a concentrated point, similar to a battering ram.

Attacking Sole (アタッキングソウル): The sole of the boot, imprinted with a spade symbol that glows during Blade’s finishing kicks. It channels explosive energy through the feet for Rider Kicks, leaving a symbolic mark upon impact.

   Jack Form:

Jack Form (ジャツクフォーム, Jakku Fōmu) is a combat extension of the Rider System which harnesses the power of Category Jack Rouse Cards via the Rouse Absorber. Blade assumes his Jack Form by inserting the Absorb Capricorn Rouse Card into the Rouse Absorber and scanning the Fusion Eagle Rouse Card. This endows the Rider Armor with the attributes and characteristics of the Eagle Undead's DNA, enhancing Blade's combat capabilities.

In this form, Blade gains golden reinforced armor plating which increases his resilience to enemy attacks. Blade also gains wings on his back, enabling him to fly. Assuming this form additionally upgrades the Blay Rouzer into its Empowered Type, which lengthens its blade and expands its AP cache.

   Jack Form's Design

Spade Shield (スペードシールド, Supēdo Shīrudo): A clear shield part that protects the mask. The internal armor has been changed to Jack Form, and part of the armor has changed from Orichalcum Platinum, a super metal that can withstand a shock of 120 tons, to Diamante Gold (ディアマンテゴールド, Diamante Gōrudo), a mysterious shining golden metal. This makes it possible to withstand impacts up to 180t.

Orichalcum Breast (Empowered) (オリハルコンブレスト（強化）, Oriharukon Buresuto (Kyōka)): By changing the form to Jack Form, part of the armor has changed from Orichalcum Platinum, a super metal that can withstand a shock of 120 tons, to Diamante Gold, a mysterious golden metal. This makes it possible to withstand impacts of up to 180 tons, and even crushes steel with a thickness of 3 m on the shoulders.

High Grade Symbol (ハイグレイドシンボル, Hai Gureido Shinboru): An eagle emblem in the shape of a spade that emerged on the chest by incorporating the power of the Eagle Undead sealed in the Fusion Eagle (Jack of Spade) Rouse Card.

Orichalcum Wing (オリハルコンウイング, Oriharukon Uingu): Flight (フライト, Furaito): Blade's wings made of Orichalcum, a mysterious metal that makes Jack Form fly. It can fly at a speed of 300 km/h and can reach altitudes of up to 10 km.

Elevon (エレボン, Erebon): A red part of the wing that acts as an elevator and aileron. It enables large orbital changes in the air, such as a change of direction in the almost vertical direction. It also functions as a radiator for the energy flowing through the Orichalcum Wing.

Wing Axis (ウイングアクシス, Uingu Akushisu): A rotating shaft for holding the Orichalcum Wing and deploying it at regular intervals.

   ---

   King Form:

King Form (キングフォーム, Kingu Fōmu) is the ultimate combat extension of the Rider System, which only Blade can assume. This transformation is initiated by inserting the Absorb Capricorn Rouse Card into the Rouse Absorber and scanning the Evolution Caucasus Rouse Card. It is undoubtedly Blade's strongest form, possessing the combined power of all thirteen Spade Suit Undeads.

When transforming into King Form, all of Blade's Spades Suit Rouse Cards form a full suit of golden armor for him. This massively increases his defenses, but at the cost of running speed. However, his reflexes suffer no detriments; having no difficulty at dodging the Joker Undead's attacks[5].

This form grants Blade the King Rouzer. The King Rouzer does not have storage for cards like the Blay Rouzer, as all of Blade's cards are fused with his body. In addition, Blade can activate the effects of the individual Rouse Cards on his body without having to scan them. For Rouse Combos though, Blade must separate the necessary Rouse cards from his body, then insert each inside the King Rouzer. Blade is still able to use the Blay Rouzer, and can dual-wield the King Rouzer and Blay Rouzer.

King Form was originally designed to only fuse the user with the DNA of the Caucasus Undead via the Evolution Caucasus Rouse Card. However, Blade's unusually high fusion compatibility resulted in him fusing with DNA of all 13 Spades Suit Undead at once. Extended activity in this form continually raises his fusion rate, putting them at risk of mutating into a Joker Undead.

   King Form's Design:

   Head:

Spade Horn (スペードホーン, Supēdo Hōn): The part that hits King Form's ears, which boasts tremendous hearing. It has twice as much hearing as the normal Blade, which hears the sound of the needle falling 5 km away.

King Lancer (キングランサー, Kingu Ransā): Side head armor. It protects the micro supercomputer NEXSAS built in the head.

Body: King Breast (キングブレスト, Kingu Buresuto): A golden chest armor made of mysterious super metal Diamante Gold that can withstand a shock of 200 tons.

Gravity Generator (グラビティジェネレーター, Gurabiti Jenerētā): A device that controls the weight of armor, located on the back of armor. If it operates at full power, simple flight will be possible.

High Grade Symbol (ハイグレイドシンボル, Hai Gureido Shinboru): A proof of fusion with 13 Undead bodies of Spade Suits. The Caucasus Beetle Undead (King of Spade) emblem is engraved on the chest.

Force Cooling Lake (フォース・クーリング・レイク, Fōsu Kūringu Reiku): A device that cools the energy "force" generated by activating the Undead's ability that runs around the entire armor of each part. If the force is normal, it is blue.

Shoulder Guardner (ショルダーガードナー, Shorudā Gādonā): Blade King Form's golden shoulder armor. A tackle can crush steel with a thickness of 3 meter.

Radiator Slit (ラジエータースリット, Rajiētā Suritto): A heat exhaust port for shoulder armor. It radiates heat from the whole body and cools it.

Force Trace (フォーストレース, Fōsu Torēsu): A flow path that connects the upper and lower body. The energy "force" obtained by activating the Undead's ability is sent to the whole body.

Mithril Armor Skin (ミスリルアーマースキン, Misuriru Āmā Sukin): A super-strong black inner suit that covers the whole body. Can withstands missile bombing.

Undead Crest (アンデッドクレスト, Andeddo Kuresuto): The golden emblems found on the left and right arm and leg armors. It is a proof that Blade has fused with all the Undead belonging to the Spade Suits, and he can draw out the Undead's ability without rousing the card.

Right Shoulder: The Fusion Eagle (Jack of Spade) emblem that emerges on the right shoulder of the Blade's King Form.

Left Shoulder: The Absorb Capricorn (Queen of Spade) emblem that emerges on the left shoulder of the Blade's King Form.

Upper Right Arm: The Time Scarab (10 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the upper right arm of the Blade's King Form.

Upper Left Arm: The Slash Lizard (2 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the upper left arm of the Blade's King Form.

Right Forearm: The Beat Lion (3 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the right forearm of the Blade's King Form.

Right Thigh: The Thunder Deer (6 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the right thigh of the Blade's King Form.

Left Thigh: The Magnet Buffalo (8 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the left thigh of the Blade's King Form.

Right Knee: The Metal Trilobite (7 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the right knee of the Blade's King Form.

Left Knee: The Mach Jaguar (9 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the left knee of the Blade's King Form.

Right Shin: The Kick Locust (5 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the right shin of the Blade's King Form.

Left Shin: The Tackle Boar (4 of Spade) emblem that emerges on the left shin of the Blade's King Form.

The Transformation Belt Blay Buckle (変身ベルト ブレイバックル, Henshin Beruto Burei Bakkuru) is a transformation device for the user to become Kamen Rider Blade.

It was the second Rider System developed by B.O.A.R.D. intended as a means to combat the Undead via the fusion of Undead DNA and the user's. The Blay Buckle was designed for specific compatibility with the ♠A: "Change Beetle" Rouse Card and harnesses the DNA of the Beetle Undead. This model utilizes the "Turn Up" mechanism to produce a stationary transformation screen, which initiates the fusion of Undead DNA with a human to produce the transformation. Coincidentally, the transformation screen itself can act as a deflective wall against assaults.

   Design:

Card Slot (カードスロット, Kādo Surotto): A card insertion port for loading Change Beetle (Ace of Spade) Rouse Card with a sealed Beetle Undead.

Rouse Reader (ラウズリーダー, Rauzu Rīdā): An internal mechanism inside Card Slot that read and execute the program of the Rouse Card.

Rouse Cradle (ラウズクレードル, Rauzu Kurēdoru): The buckle's main body. Made by Orichalcum Platinum with an internal mechanism.

Turn-Up Connection (ターンアップコネクション, Tān Appu Konekushon): An arm part that connecting the Rouse Cradle and Card Slot.

Shuffle Wrap (シャッフルラップ, Shaffuru Rappu): A red card-shaped belt that straps around the user's waist once the Change Beetle Rouse Card is inside the Card slot and is pressed against the user's waist. The number of each card changes depending on the wearer's waist size.

Front Piece: After loading the Change Beetle (Spade A) and equipping the buckle, pulling the Turn Up handle on the right side (Turn Up) reveals a face adorned with the Spade design. Simultaneously, an energy screen called "Orichalcum Element," filled with a substance derived from the atomic decomposition of the mystical metal Orichalcum Platinum, is released in front of the user. Passing through this screen equips the user with the Blade Armor, transforming them into Kamen Rider Blade.

Wrap Connector (ラップコネクター, Rappu Konekutā): A joint part that connects with Shuffle Wrap and Rouse Cradle.

Turn-Up Handle (ターンアップハンドル, Tān Appu Handoru): By pulling this part sideways, the central part of buckle rotates, and the spade design surface is exchanged.

Rousing Alert (ラウジング・アラート, Raujingu Arāto): When inserting a different Rouse Card, the lamp blinks.

Element Radiation Muzzle (エレメント・レディエーションマズル, Eremento Rediēshon Mazuru): Release an energy screen Orichalcum Element.

Access Signal Lamp (アクセスシグナルランプ, Akusesu Shigunaru Ranpu): A lamp that check the activity of the internal computer.

Dealer Box (ディーラーボックス, Dīrā Bokkusu): A sub-computer that controls Blay Buckle.

Arms Mount (アームズマウント, Āmuzu Maunto): Secure the holder for carrying the Blay Rouzer.

Connecting Buckle (コネクティングバックル, Konekutingu Bakkuru): A part that connects the armor and wearer nerves.

   Function:

When a Change Beetle (♠A) Rouse Card is loaded into the Card Slot in the center, a band that imitates the shape of the card, called Shuffle Wrap, stretches and is attached to the wearer's waist. After that, by pulling (turning up) the Turn-Up Handle on the right side, the Blay buckle says "Turn Up!" and an energy screen called Orichalcum Element is released from the Element Radiation Muzzle. The Blade Armour is attached by passing through this screen, and the transformation into Blade is completed. The Orichalcum Element can only be passed by a conforming person, and if touched, it will be blown off by an impact. To return to normal, the user has to pull the Turn-Up handle and take out the Change Beetle Rouse card, causing the Orichalcum Element to be released from the Element Radiation Muzzle, and once they pass through it, the Blade armour is dematerialised off them.

After activating Jack Form, the Blay Rouzer gains an enhancement in the form of a blade extension. This form is called Empowered Type (強化型, Kyōka-gata).

The Blay Rouzer can be used by Blade in King Form for the Straight Flush technique.

   Blay Rouzer Design:

Open Tray (オープントレイ, Ōpun Torei): The built-in card holder that can be expanded and hold up to 12 Rouse Cards.

Locking Pivot (ロッキング・ピボット, Rokkingu Pibotto): The part of the Open Tray is fixed to prevent it from unfolding on its own.

Force Reminder Site (フォース・リマインダー・サイト, Fōsu Rimaindā Saito): The counter that indicates the Rouse limit value of the Rouse Cards, in AP (Attack Point) units. The initial AP is 5000, and each Rouse Card rouse decreases the required AP set for that card. The Empowered Type increases the initial AP to 7400. Orichalcum Edge (オリハルコン・エッジ, Oriharukon Ejji): The blade is made by polishing the mysterious metal Orichalcum Platinum (オリハルコンプラチナ, Oriharukon Purachina) to the utmost limit. There is no solid object on Earth that cannot be cut off by it. Diamante Edge (ディアマンテエッジ, Diamante Ejji): The newly formed sharp blade at the tip. The sharpness and hardness are strengthened to 1.5 times higher than normal. Slash Reader (スラッシュ・リーダー, Surasshu Rīdā): The reader that reads Rouse Cards with sealed Undeads. Functionality:

Usually, Blay Rouzer was stored in the Rouzer Holster (ラウザーホルスター, Rauzā Horusutā) on the left waist of the Blay Buckle's Shuffle Wrap. There is a built-in Open Tray (オープントレイ, Ōpun Torei) that can hold up to 12 Rouse Cards. The tray expands in a fan shape to pull out the card, the effect of Vesta (ベスタ , Besuta) was utilized by rousing to the Reader (リーダー, Rīdā) on the blade section, enables Blade to "rouse" (ラウズ, Rauzu) the sealed Undead's power. Its initial AP is 5000.

Its blade, Orichalcum Edge (オリハルコン・エッジ, Oriharukon Ejji) polished with limited Orichalcum Platinum (オリハルコンプラチナ, Oriharukon Purachina), is also said that there is no solid object on Earth that cannot be cut off by it. Since it is a sword, it is primarily used in close combat, though Blade has managed to injure the enemy by throwing it in episodes 1 and 21.

It is normally impossible for anyone other than Blade to pull it out from the Holster by the Auto Lock (オートロック, Ōto Rokku) function, but in Episode 32, when the movement was stopped by the time stop ability of Scarab Undead, it was pulled out by King and temporarily robbed and used.

When Blade is transformed into Jack Form, its initial AP becomes 7400, Diamante Edge (ディアマンテエッジ, Diamante Ejji) is added to the tip blade, the sharpness and hardness are strengthened to 1.5 times than normal time. All of the standard features and functions remain intact, although its AP Cache has been largely expanded.

The Transformation Belt Garren Buckle (変身ベルト ギャレンバックル, Henshin Beruto Gyaren Bakkuru) is the transformation device that Sakuya Tachibana uses to become Kamen Rider Garren.

It was designed for specific compatibility with the ♦A: "Change Stag" Rouse Card and harnesses the DNA of the Stag Undead. This model utilizes the "Turn Up" mechanism (similar to the Blay Buckle) to produce a stationary transformation screen, which initiates the fusion of Undead DNA with the user's to produce the Kamen Riders transformation. Coincidentally, the transformation screen itself can act as a deflective wall against assaults.

   Design:

Card Slot(カードスロット, Kādo Surotto): The insertion port for loading the Change Stag (Ace of Diamonds) card that seals the Stag Beetle Undead.

Shuffle Wrap (シャッフルラップ, Shaffuru Rappu): A card-shaped belt straps, the number of each cards changes depending on the wearer's waist size.

Front Piece: After loading the Change Stag (Ace of Spades) and equipping the buckle, pulling the turn-up handle on the right side (Turn Up) reveals a face adorned with a diamond design. Simultaneously, an energy screen called "Orichalcum Element," filled with a substance derived from the atomic decomposition of the mystical metal Orichalcum Platinum, is released in front of the user. Passing through this screen equips the user with the Garren Armor, transforming them into Kamen Rider Garren.

Wrap Connector (ラップコネクター, Rappu Konekutā): A joint part that connects with Shuffle Wrap and Rouse Cradle.

Turn-Up Handle (ターンアップハンドル, Tān Appu Handoru): By pulling this part sideways, the central part of the buckle rotates, and the spade design surface is exchanged.

Connecting Buckle (コネクティングバックル, Konekutingu Bakkuru): A part that connects the armor and wearer nerves.

   Function:

It was the first Rider System developed by B.O.A.R.D. intended as a means to combat the Undead via the fusion of Undead DNA and human DNA. When a Change Stag(♦A) Rouse Card is loaded into the Card Slot in the center, a silver band that imitates the shape of the card, called Shuffle Wrap, stretches and is attached to the wearer's waist. After that, by pulling (turning up) the Turn-Up Handle on the right side, the Garren buckle says "Turn Up!" and an energy screen called Orichalcum Element is released from the Element Radiation Muzzle. The Garren Armour is attached by passing through this screen, and the transformation into Garren is completed. The Orichalcum Element can only be passed by a conforming person, and if touched, it will be blown off by an impact. To turn back to normal, the user has to pull the Turn-Up handle and take out the Change Stag Rouse card, causing the Orichalcum Element to be released from the Element Radiation Muzzle, and once they pass through it, the Garren armour is dematerialised off them.

    Rider name: Chalice

Primary colours: Black, Red and Gold

    Motif: Mantis, Heart card

    Rider Type: Melee & range

    Transformation Device/Rouzer: Chalice Rouzer

    Main Weapon: Chalice Arrow

Chalice's default form assumed by scanning the Change Mantis Rouse Card in the Chalice Rouzer. Unlike the BOARD Riders, Chalice is not a traditional "Kamen Rider", but rather the form of the Mantis Undead taken on by the Joker Undead as per his abilities. Though Chalice has especially high agility, he is superior to the BOARD Riders due to using the original Rouzer technology instead of an imitation. Chalice is equipped with the Mantis Undead's weapon, the Chalice Arrow, which can be combined with the Chalice Rouzer to scan Rouse Cards for special attacks instead of transformation.

    Chalice's design:

Elemental Helm: A sleek, beetle-shaped black helmet made from Shadow Crystals, giving it a glossy, mineral-like sheen. It’s highly durable and self-regenerating, restoring any damage automatically. This helm encases the head and integrates with the suit seamlessly, providing full protection and form.

Wing Feeler: Two long, silver antennae arranged in a V-shape on the top of the helmet. These metallic feelers act like highly advanced sensory receptors, capable of detecting Undead within a 10 km radius. They also enhance the overall predatory aesthetic of Chalice’s insect motif.

Gold Tiara: A thin, golden band that sits at the base of the Wing Feelers. It stores energy generated by Chalice during combat and evenly supplies it throughout his body, functioning like a power distributor that keeps his systems balanced and ready for action.

Optimizer: A black, angular sensor positioned on the forehead, just above the eyes. It launches and tracks optical beacons that detect enemy locations, allowing Chalice to navigate through terrain or combat zones with strategic precision.

Hearty Glass: The fierce, red, compound eye lenses that dominate the upper face. These transparent protective shields guard the delicate visual systems beneath and project an intimidating glow. They shimmer vividly in combat, enhancing his insect-like appearance.

Insect Finder: Located beneath the Hearty Glass, these advanced visual sensors grant Chalice extreme sight—capable of spotting a grain of rice from 5 km away or seeing through 10 meters of lead. They enable precise visual tracking even under extreme combat conditions.

Black Mark: A system housed within the helmet that supports the Hearty Glass. It automatically adjusts contrast, focus, and transparency to provide Chalice with optimal visibility in all conditions, including darkness, fog, or blinding light.

Exe Sonar: Hidden in the sides of the helmet where the ears would be, these sensors can pick up ultrasonic waves in the million-hertz range. They allow Chalice to detect subtle vibrations, track unseen movements, or perceive threats long before they’re visible.

Sonic Crusher: The angular mouthguard section of the helmet. It emits powerful ultrasonic waves to disorient enemies. Hidden within it is the Misty Regulator, which generates oxygen, allowing Chalice to breathe underwater or in suffocating environments.

Wizard Collar: A high black collar that wraps around the neck, protecting it from slashes, impacts, and energy attacks. It connects the helmet and torso armor, completing the seamless protective frame of the upper body.

Shoulder Mail: Chunky, silver and black shoulder plates with subtle red outlines. These curve outward to allow for movement while offering strong protection. Made of Shadow Crystal, they self-repair when damaged, making them durable against heavy blows or projectile attacks.

Shadow Breast: The silver and red chest armor shaped like a stylized heart or insect carapace. This signature design generates Shield Force, a unique defense energy that nullifies enemy attacks. The red portions pulse with energy during combat or transformation.

Insect Armor: A smooth, black back plate with red energy accents. This component releases built-up energy to enhance Chalice’s mobility, particularly for high-speed jumps or acrobatic maneuvers. The red zone acts like a vent for propulsion bursts.

Force Cooling River: Thin lines and compartments across the torso and limbs that regulate internal temperature by venting out excess heat and energy. This system prevents overheating, especially during extended combat or after unleashing high-output attacks.

Black Skin: The base suit, made from an ultra-tough metallic fabric created by stretching Shadow Crystal fibers and coating them in Shadow Tar. The surface is dark with shimmering gold vine-like markings and provides both flexibility and resistance to piercing damage.

Chalice Crest: Golden engravings visible on the chest, arms, and thighs. These markings glow with energy when Chalice is at full strength. They pulse more rapidly under stress, reflecting the flow of power and symbolizing his connection to the Mantis Undead.

Chalice Amulet: An unseen internal device within the suit that amplifies the dark power of the Mantis Undead that Chalice embodies. This is what allows him to perform powerful finishing techniques and unlock his full potential during crisis moments.

Scale Armor (Arms): Segmented black and silver plating covering the arms, made from Shadow Crystal. These pieces are tough enough to block bullets and regenerate when cracked or broken. Their flexible design allows for both protection and unrestricted movement.

Shadow Breaker: The hand armor, including knuckles and backhand plating. These channel and emit energy into the fingertips, boosting hand-based attacks and enabling Chalice to deliver charged strikes or card activations with amplified power.

Scale Armor (Legs): Armored sections that run down the thighs and shins, constructed with Shadow Crystal. These are engraved with gold patterns and provide critical protection during movement-heavy combat, while retaining agility. They recover from damage automatically.

Calf Guarder: Sturdy plates running along the backs of the lower legs. These provide support and defensive coverage during acrobatic landings or rapid retreats, reinforcing the leg structure for balance and counterattacks.

Breaker Sole: Thick, armored soles on Chalice’s boots with a layered design. They store and discharge kinetic energy during jumps, delivering devastating kick attacks. These allow Chalice to perform high-powered Rider Kicks with crushing force.

The Transformation Belt Chalice Rouzer is the transformation device used by Kamen Rider Chalice.

The Chalice Rouzer is a unique transformation device bestowed upon the Joker Undead. When Roused with the Mantis Undead, he becomes the Kamen Rider Chalice. The full extent of its power is unknown, but the Chalice Rouzer is capable of reproducing the DNA of sealed Undead and mimicking their forms with frightening accuracy, as well as their respective powers and abilities, with the only difference being the Rouzer itself. Further adding to its uniqueness is that the Chalice Rouzer utilises the "Swipe" function, which became the template for the Rider System's "Rouzer" technology.

The Rouzer Unit can be removed from the belt and combined with the Chalice Arrow in order to scan Rouse Cards for initiating Vesta effects and special attacks instead of transforming into the associated Undead. This also allows the effects of Rouse Cards to be combined in Rouse Combos. This functionality became the basis for the BOARD Riders' Rouzers.

    The Chalice Rouzer's components:

Rouzer Unit: A buckle equipped with Rouse Card awakening functionality. By slashing and rousing various Rouse Cards, it can copy the form and abilities of the Undead sealed within those cards. It can be detached and connected to the Chalice Arrow.

Slash Reader: The red heart-shaped piece with a slider in the centre of the Rouzer Unit, which the user can use to scan Rouse Cards to either transform into the selected Undead or use their abilities when the Rouzer Unit is connected to the Chalice Arrow.

Rouzer Belt. The belt of the Chalice Rouzer. It has a holster at the front for the Rouzer Unit. If the Rouzer Unit is connected, it could allow the wearer to transform into an Undead. It is silver in colour.

Card Deck: A card case used to store and retrieve Rouse Cards. It is located on the right of the Rouzer Belt.

Function: When the Chalice Rouzer materialises onto the user's waist via mental control, they can slide the ♥A Change Mantis Rouse Card on the Slash Reader on the Rouzer Unit, and once that happens, the Chalice Rouzer says "Change!" and a dark grey liquid-like substance quickly covers the user's body, causing their biology to change into the one of the Mantis Undead to be Chalice. To return to their human form, the user has to slide the ♥2 Spirit Rouse Card on the Slash Reader, causing a screen made up of the same liquid-like substance to be emitted (similar to the Oricalcum Element screen for the B.O.A.R.D Riders), and once they pass this, they transform into their human form.

    ---

    EXTRAS:

If the reds of the Chalice Rouzer are green and the Rouzer Belt is metallic black, it becomes the Joker Rouzer, used by the Joker Undead; when used to transform into another Undead, it becomes the Chalice Rouzer.

The Chalice Rouzer can be utilised to transform into other Undead.

The Chalice Rouzer can be unsummoned; this isn't the case when the user is in their Joker Undead form.

When the Chalice Rouzer is summoned, it forms with a wavy distortion effect (similar to heat distortion), and it makes a THRRRMSH!! sound.

When a Rouse Card slides across the Slash Reader, it makes a low-pitched and warped THHROWSH!!! sound.

When the dark grey liquid-like substance forms, the Chalice Rouzer makes a ESSHUMBWEOWSH!!! sound.

The Transformation Belt Leangle Buckle (変身ベルト レンゲルバックル, Henshin Beruto Rengeru Bakaru) is a transformation device used by Kamen Rider Leangle. It also has a major side-effect of the Spider Undead controlling its user, even when untransformed, let alone when its far away.

It was the second Rider System produced by Isaka/Peacock Undead with the aid of the B.O.A.R.D. scientists under his control (Chief Kei Karasuma among them). Its designed specifically for compatibility with the ♣A Change Spider Rouse Card. This Rider System model utilizes the "Open Up" mechanism, to scan the Category-Ace Rouse Card; producing a transformation screen that attracts to the Rider (as opposed to the earlier systems which produced stationary screens). Coincidentally, the transformation screen itself can act as a deflective wall against assaults.

    Design:

Card Tray: A small tray on the right-hand side of the buckle, which is used for loading the Change Spider Rouse Card.

Main Base: A case made up of the mysterious golden-coloured super metal Spiritia Emerald and Orichalcum Platinum.

Clover Emblem: Releases the Spiritia Element energy when active.

Cover: The cover is made up of the same materials as the base. Used to activate the transformation.

Shuffle Wrap: A purple card-shaped belt that straps around the user's waist once the Change Spider Rouse Card is inside the Card Tray and is pressed against the user's waist. The number of each card changes depending on the wearer's waist size. It also holds the Card Deck on the right.

Card Deck: A card case for storing, retrieving and using rouse cards that seal the undead that appear after the transformation is completed.

Function: After loading the ♣A Change Spider Rouse Card, closing the Card Tray and attaching the buckle via the purple shuffle wrap (purple cards swarming the user's waist to form a belt), the right cover of the buckle is slid outward to expose the part where the club design is drawn, causing it to say "Open Up!". At the same time, a purple energy screen called the "Spiritia Element" filled with a substance made by atomically decomposing the mysterious supermetal Spiritia Emerald, is released in front of the user, and it approaches the user. By passing through it, the user is fitted with the Leangle Cross and transforms into Kamen Rider Leangle. To turn back to normal, the user has to open the card tray and remove the Change Spider Rouse Card from it, causing the Clover emblem to emit the Spiritia Element screen, which will dematerialise the Leangle armour off once they step through it.

16. #16Leangle Rouzer

The Rousing Staff Leangle Rouzer (醒杖 レンゲルラウザー, Seijō Rengeru Rauzā) is Leangle’s primary armament, a khakkhara-styled extendable polearm with built-in Rouzer technology that enables Leangle to augment his capabilities with the powers of the sealed Undead for personal use. Unlike the Blay Rouzer and Garren Rouzer, it lacks a dedicated storage unit for Rouse Cards, requiring Leangle to have a separate card holder attached to his belt.

Design: Force Reminder Side (フォース・リマインダー・サイト, Fōsu Rimaindā Saido): The digital counter, which indicates the current Rouze (read) limit of the Leangle Rouzer in AP (Attack Points). It has an initial pool of 7900 AP, which is depleted each time Leangle uses a Rouze Card. If the AP cache is too low, Rouzing a card will have no effect.

Clover Edge (クローバー・エッジ, Kurōbā Ejji): The round blades at the far end of the Rouzer. In Dagger Mode they are folded on top of each other, while in Zapper Mode they fan out in a clover shape. Each blade is capable of 2 million vibrations per second, easily cutting through any enemy. The three blades each have their own names: "Heaven, Earth and Man" (天・地・人, Ten Chi Jin).

Slash Reader (スラッシュ・リーダー, Surasshu Rīdā): The card reader, located at the butt end of the staff. By scanning Rouze Cards, Leangle can access the unique abilities of the Undead.

    Modes:

Dagger Mode: A more compact form, Leangle typically carries the Rouzer in this form and changes it to Zapper Mode for combat, though they can fight with it in this mode.

Zapper Mode: The fully extended form of the Rouzer, used as its primary combat form. It derives its name from the fact that it is a high-frequency vibroblade capable of 2 million vibrations per second.

The Green Clover is a special hyper-performance motorbike developed by Isaka (the Peacock Undead) with specified design aspects catering to the specifications of the Leangle Rider System. Developed by the captive B.O.A.R.D. scientists, the specs that Green Clover was based upon are virtually identical to the specs found on the blueprints used to constructed B.O.A.R.D's original bike series, and as such has limited Rouzer capability. This feature allows the Rider to further augment certain aspects of the bike's performance levels.

    Green Clover's design:

Upper Cowl: The supermetal cowl generates a shock wave "force shield" when charging. It can crush the enemy that stands in its path.

Club face: In addition to brightly illuminating the front as headlights, it also has functions such as fluoroscopy, night vision cameras, and sensor cameras. Its purple and is in the shape of a club.

Armour Screen: Front of upper cowl. It is covered with a sturdy shield made of supermetal emperor resin.

Bio Brain Case: A biological computer built into an armor screen. It has the will of Spider Undead and can run autonomously in addition to Kamen Rider Leagle's thoughts.

Mobile Rouzer: A box close to the interface with Rouse Card Awakening function. By rousing (lead) the Rouse Card to the Slash Leader, the undead ability sealed in the Rouse Card is granted to the Green Clover.

Element Converter: It takes in all the elements in the air, converts them into energy, and sends them to each part.

Weapon Container: Inside the container, a total of eight bio-guided missiles are mounted on both sides of the front tank and four at the rear

Magic Wheel: It can handle any road surface situation and will never get flat.

Club Generator: A mysterious black box engine that powers the machine. In addition to the energy obtained from the element converter, it is also possible to run using gasoline as fuel.

ACBS: Anti-centrifugal braking allows a stopping distance of 15m even when driving at maximum speed.

Force out duct: Releases excess energy and heat and cools it.

Emperor Fork: It has excellent shock absorption and will not damage the vehicle even if it lands from a height of 50m.

18. #18Rouse Cards

Keys: Undead, Rouse Card, Rouse Cards, BOARD

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Rouse Cards are obtained when an Undead has been defeated, which is indicated when their Ouroboros Buckle opens revealing what category and suit they belong to, and has been sealed away by either a Rider using a Proper Blank card (labeled specifically for the Undead), Common Blank card (no labels, can be use for any Undead), or the Stone of Sealing. Normally, Category 2-Queen Cards have the Ouroboros patch on the picture of the species which they resemble; Category King and Ace cards instead feature their suit's symbol in a silhouette of the animal.

The cards are categorized into Categories, the exact same way the Undead are: Aces, the Numbers (2-10), and the Royal Club (Jacks, Queens, & Kings). They are also categorized into 4 suits: the Spades, the Diamonds, the Hearts, and the Clubs. The Joker Cards, the Wild Card, the Mighty cards used by Kamen Riders Glaive, Lance, and Larc, and the Vanity Card created by merging the four Category King Cards belong to none of these categories or suits.

There are two types of Rouse Cards. The Prime Vesta (プライムベスタ, Puraimu Besuta) is the cards with corresponding suits of Riders that obtained by sealing the undead with Proper Blank and Wild Vesta (ワイルドベスタ, Wairudo Besuta) is the cards without corresponding suits that obtained by sealing the Undead with a Common Blank. The Wild Vesta will become Prime Vesta if the cards is used by the Rider with corresponding suits.

Each Rouse Card allows the Riders access to the powers of the Undeads sealed within them. Rouse Cards need AP to be used, the amount of which is needed for the card to be used is located on the right side of the card just below the Undead's picture. Riders can gain AP by fighting an opponent while wearing their Rider suit and the amount of AP they have accumulated is gauged by a digital counter located somewhere on their weapons. While seen and occasionally mentioned, the AP counter and its usage is never a major plot point during battles.

The only Cards that don't use AP are Category Ace cards used to transform, and the Royal Club Cards which serve to increase a Riders' AP count. Category Joker Undeads can also use Rouse Cards to assume the form of the Undead that is sealed within the card and access all of their powers.

Common Blank: Used to seal any Undead

Proper Blank: Used to seal a specific Undead with the corresponding Suit and number. In the presence of a matching Undead, the Proper Blank will react and glow with a blue aura. Category Ace and numbers 2-5 are gold and brownish yellow, numbers 6-10 are green and blue, and Royal Club cards are red. The Proper Blank used to seal Kerberos is grey and has no Suit like the Common Blank.

The Category Ace (カテゴリーA, Kategorī Ēsu) card allows the Riders to transform into their suits. These Undeads were regarded as the best fighters.

Category 2-10 allows the Riders to channel the sealed Undeads powers via their respective Rouzers.

The Category Jack (カテゴリーJ, Kategorī Jakku) cards allow the Riders to assume Jack Form when used in conjunction with an Absorb Queen Card of the same suit with the use of a Rouse Absorber. Since Hajime is the Joker Undead, he has no need for a Rouse Absorber, so his Jack Card just allows him to become the Wolf Undead.

The Category Queen (カテゴリーQ, Kategorī Kuīn) cards allow the Riders to use their Fusion Jack and Evolution King cards with the use of a Rouse Absorber to change into their Jack and King forms. Hajime never had a Rouse Absorber so it just allows him to become the Undead sealed inside the card.

The Category King (カテゴリーK, Kategorī Kingu) cards allow the Riders to assume King Form when used in conjunction with an Absorb Queen Card of the same suit with the use of a Rouse Absorber. For Chalice, it allowed him to fuse with all of his cards and assume Wild Form. For Leangle, it instead allowed him to become the Undead themself, morphing between their human form and the Undead's form.

When Kamen Rider Blade initiates King Form, their Rouse Cards change their appearance into Gild Rouse Cards (ギルドラウズカード, Girudo Rauzu Kādo), and their AP Cost will increase. In addition, the cards are fused with them to form armour, allowing them to call upon that Card's power without using the Blay Rouzer, but their mind instead.

    ---

    EXTRAS:

Blank Card's function: When an Undead is defeated and a rider throws a blank at the Undead's open buckle, and it matches the rider's card suit (♠ for Blade, ♦ for Garren, ♥ for Chalice and ♣ for Leangle) and their number within said card suit, the Undead begins to glow a green aura and is sucked into the card forming the image of their motif along with their ability (for instance, the Lizard Undead becomes the ♠2 Slash Lizard when sealed). Once the Undead is successfully sealed, the card will fly back into the rider's hand.

The Rouse Absorber (ラウズアブゾーバー, Rauzu Abuzōbā) is a special accessory developed by Kei Karasuma to bolster Blade and Garren’s capabilities (but can also be compatible with Leangle).

The Rouse Absorber was designed to be a supplementary Rouse device to the Rider System and a specialised container for the top-category Rouse Cards.

    Function:

Its system was designed to harness the ♠J: Fusion Eagle, ♦J: Fusion Peacock, ♣J: Fusion Elephant, ♠Q: Absorb Capricorn, ♦Q: Absorb Serpent, ♣Q: Absorb Tiger, ♠K: Evolution Caucasus, ♦K: Evolution Giraffa, and ♣K: Evolution Tarantula Rouse Cards and is only compatible with those cards.

Initiating either Jack Form or King Form, modifies the Rouse Absorber with a signature spade-eagle, diamond-peacock, or club-elephant plaque depending on the Rider using it for Jack Form and spade-Caucasus, diamond-Giraffa, and club-tarantula for King Form. When evolved into King Form, the Rouse Absorber is called King Absorber (キングアブゾーバー, Kingu Abuzōbā)

Short for the Board of Archaeological Research Department (人類基盤史研究所, Jinrui Kiban-shi Kenkyūjo), BOARD (ボード, Bōdo), the organization higher-ups's motive was to unleash the sealed Undead Cards(Rouse Cards).

The Board of Archaeological Research Department was found with the discovery of ancient ruins in a Tibetan cave. There were murals describing the Battle Fight between the 53 Undeads, as well as the "Board Stone" (ボードストーン, Bōdo Sutōn) that contained the sealed Undeads' Rouze Cards. Hiroshi Tennoji established BOARD to study these findings. He assumed position of chairman of BOARD and began researching the actual situation of the Battle Fight, which he named "the fundamental history of humanity", and the cards he retrieved from the recovered the Board Stone. However, these facts are kept secret from all but a few, and the organization is ostensibly an institution that explores the mysteries of history prior to the present human history, based on the hypothesis that there are other factors behind human prosperity that cannot be explained by the theory of evolution.

Later, when Yoshito Hirose unsealed the Undeads, BOARD hastily developed the Rider System to reseal the freed Undeads. Tennoji, who was the chairman at the time, took responsibility and resigned, and Kei Karasuma became the director of the institute.

The Undead (アンデッド, Andeddo) are a race of monsters. Immortal creations that are originators of all creatures that inhabit Earth, they are named "undead" because of their immortality.

Excluding the artificially generated individuals in modern times, there are a total of 54 Undead that were created by the Monolith. In the Battle Fight 10,000 years ago, they were sealed within Rouse Cards, but more than two years ago, they were revived in modern times.

As they must be preserved for the next battle, the Undead have an infinite lifespan, being entirely immune to death via conventional means.

If an Undead takes excessive damage, their Undead Buckle (アンデッドバックル, Andeddo Bakkuru) on their waist will open, displaying their Suit and Category. They can then be sealed with a Blank Rouse Card, but technologically, only the Master has the ability to seal the Undead upon its defeat, with Joker Undead as the only exception to be able to seal other Undead by himself without the presence of Master. Through the research of Joker, the Riders in present also has the ability to seal the Undead by throwing the blank Rouse Card to seal them, with said card automatically returning to the thrower's hand afterwards.

    ---

    History:

The Undead were created by the Master as a response to the "will" of life, being participants in a free-for-all battle royale known as the Battle Fight, with the winner granted a wish to alter the world as they please.

Excluding the Albino Joker, each Undead participated in the battle, with any that are defeated being immediately sealed away. The ultimate winner was the Human Undead, allowing humanity to reign supreme among all lifeforms ever since. In the present, human archaeologists discover the sealed Undead, and a maddened Hirose sets them free by mistake. However, the new Battle Fight was a front for a sinister plot by BOARD's chairman Hiroshi Tennoji. Among the Undeads, there are several specialised groups: the Category Aces, the Royal Club, and the two Jokers.

    ---

    Category Ace Undead:

The Category Ace are the best natural fighters out of the Undead, with Chalice as the strongest followed by the Spider Undead. Their cards are an important part in the Rider system, each Rider donning armour modelled after the creatures that the Aces represent.

Beetle Undead (Ace of Spades): Has the arsenal of a sword named 'Destruction All Over' and a solid shield.

Stag Beetle Undead (Ace of Diamonds)

Mantis Undead (Ace of Hearts): As the Joker simply copies other Undead, the Mantis Undead is identical to Kamen Rider Chalice, except with an Undead belt in place of the Chalice Rouzer and card holder.

Spider Undead (Ace of Clubs): Has the abilities of shooting webs out of its mouth, life force absorption and mind control (only when it is improperly sealed). Their arsenal consists of sharp claws and golden spiders, which are used to find an ideal host for its mind control.

Kerberos (Artificial Ace Undead): Has the ability of absorbing Rouse Cards.

    ---

    Category 2-10 Undead:

These Undead are of Categories 2 to 10, and thus are either the easiest and most annoying of the Undead to fight against, with most of these unable to speak like humans. Only 22 of the 36 Undead made physical appearances in the series. While considered to be weaker in comparison to most other Undeads, it should be noted that the winner of the previous battle was the Human Undead.

Bat Undead (8 of Diamonds): Has the abilities of flight, bat control, blood consumption and night vision.

Locust Undead (5 of Spades): Has the ability to split his body into a huge swarm of locusts that devours everything in its path. It can also jump at great heights.

Plant Undead (7 of Hearts): Has the ability to ensnare its victims in thorny vines created from their body.

Deer Undead (6 of Spades): Has the abilities of electrokinesis and can jump great heights.

Moth Undead (8 of Hearts): Has the ability to produce powder that could set anything ablaze on contact.

Centipede Undead (10 of Hearts): Has the ability to infect their victims with fever-induced poison. The antidote is contained within the centipede-esque structure on its right shoulder

    Trilobite Undead (7 of Spades):

Zebra Undead (9 of Diamonds): Has the abilities of self-cloning, jumping great distances and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Jaguar Undead (9 of Spades): Has the ability of superspeed and is equipped with sharp claws and a giant claw gauntlet on their left hand.

    Shell Undead (5 of Hearts)

    Lion Undead (3 of Spades)

Dragonfly Undead (4 of Hearts): Has the abilities of flight and summoning dragonflies.

    Boar Undead (4 of Spades):

    Mole Undead (3 of Clubs)

Buffalo Undead (8 of Spades): Has the ability of magnetism.

    Pecker Undead (4 of Diamonds)

    Tortoise Undead (7 of Diamonds)

Scarab Undead (10 of Spades): Has the ability to freeze time in certain areas.

    Human Undead (2 of Hearts)

Jellyfish Undead (7 of Clubs): Has the ability to turn its body into water.

Lizard Undead (2 of Spades): Has the ability to produce thick brownish-purple smog.

    Squid Undead (9 of Clubs):

Chameleon Undead (10 of Diamonds): Has the ability turn itself to anyone it sees.

    Armadillo Undead (2 of Diamonds)

    Frog Undead (3 of Diamonds)

    Whale Undead (5 of Diamonds)

    Firefly Undead (6 of Diamonds)

    Hammerhead Undead (3 of Hearts)

    Hawk Undead (6 of Hearts)

    Camel Undead (9 of Hearts)

    Bee Undead (2 of Clubs)

    Rhinoceros Undead (4 of Clubs)

    Cobra Undead (5 of Clubs)

    Polar Undead (6 of Clubs)

    Scorpion Undead (8 of Clubs)

    Tapir Undead (10 of Clubs)

    ---

    Royal Club Undead:

The Royal Club Undead (上級アンデッド Jōkyū Andeddo) are those of Category Jack, Category Queen and Category King, special classes of advanced Undead who have a greater power and higher intelligence than their "lower" counterparts. Each can assume a human disguise, allowing them to better mask their presence in the present society.

Shortly after their liberation, these Undeads quickly mastered the human language and culture, most proving a great threat in general. The difference in appearance from the other Undead is that their Undead Buckle is golden and the Ouroboros Emblem (ウロボロスのエンブレム Uroborosu no Enburemu) is boned.

Aside from giving extra AP, these Undeads can provide extra forms for Kamen Rider Blade and his cohorts, provided that they are the same Suit as the respective Ace Undead being used. This is done via the Rouse Absorber, excluding Kamen Rider Chalice. Whereas the Jacks and Kings serve as "upgrade cards" for the Riders to assume Jack and King Form, the Queens function as stablizers to evoke the transformation.

All Royal Club Undead appeared in the show except the King of Hearts, the Paradoxa Undead, though he appears in the Kamen Rider Decade series, his identity being that of a man named Kamata who transforms into Kamen Rider Abyss.

Peacock Undead/Isaka (Jack of Diamonds; Episodes 5-15)

Orchid Undead/Miyuki Yoshigana (Queen of Hearts; Episodes 20–25)

Capricorn Undead/Yazawa (Queen of Spades; Episodes 20–21)

Eagle Undead/Takahara (Jack of Spades; Episodes 22–23)

Wolf Undead/Shinmei (Jack of Hearts; Episodes 24–25)

Elephant Undead/Daichi (Jack of Clubs; Episodes 24–26)

Tarantula Undead/Noboru Shima (King of Clubs; Episodes 26–28): The only pacifist by default in the Royal club Undead class and is entrusted with the Rouse Absorber by Kei Karasuma.

Serpent Undead/Azumi (Queen of Diamonds; Episodes 29–30)

Caucasus Undead/King (King of Spades; Episodes 31–34)

Tiger Undead/Hikaru Jo (Queen of Clubs; Episodes 35–42)

Giraffa Undead/Kanai (King of Diamonds; Episodes 41–47)

Paradoxa Undead/Kamata (King of Hearts; Decade Episodes 8-9)

    Joker Undead :

Unique among their brethren, the two Joker Undeads have a special role in the Battle Fight, with no descendants being born from their existence. Evidently, through several means, a human can turn into a Joker Undead, sharing the same powers as the Black Joker. They are equipped with the Joker Rouzer, which is a variant of the Chalice Rouzer where all the reds on the belt are green (or white in the case of the Albino Undead). The Joker is one of the strongest Undead and is the only one that can seal other Undead into Rouse Cards without the Monolith. By scanning a Rouse Card with the Joker Rouzer on his abdomen, it can transform into the corresponding Undead. Joker's ability to seal Undead and use Rouse Cards forms the basis for B.O.A.R.D's Rider System.

    ---

    Darkroachi:

The Darkroachi are endlessly summoned from the Monolith if the Battle Fight is nearing its end and the Joker Undead is still unsealed. Their role is to eliminate all life on Earth once the Joker wins the Battle Fight. Although the Joker cannot stop the Darkroachi from killing, they show some allegiance to him.

The White Joker Undead is able to summon white variants of the Darkroachi called Albiroachi on his own regardless of the state of the Battle Fight, each somehow having a level of sentience and being capable of speech with Undeads.

    ---

    Trial Series Undead:

The Trial Series are artificial monsters created by BOARD by combining human and Undead DNA with cybernetics. They cannot be sealed with Proper Blanks; in fact, Blanks are absorbed, allowing them to recover quickly. However, as the Trials are not immortal, they can be destroyed. The Trials were developed to interfere with the Undead Battle Fight. In early production sketches, they were referred as "Undeadloids."

    Name: Joker Undead

    Motif: Longhorn Beetle, Joker Card

The Joker Undead (ジョーカーアンデッド, Jōkā Andeddo), usually referred to as simply Joker (ジョーカー, Jōkā) is a special Undead that exists outside the standard four suits and is not the ancestor of any living being. The Joker is one of the strongest Undead and is the only one that can seal other Undead into Rouse Cards without the Monolith. By scanning a Rouse Card with the Rouzer on his abdomen, it can transform into the corresponding Undead. Joker's ability to seal Undead and use Rouse Cards forms the basis for BOARD's Rider System. He's also Kamen Rider Chalice's true identity.

If the Joker wins the Battle Fight by being the last Undead remaining, Darkroachi will endlessly emerge from its shadow and the Monolith in order to reset the Battle Fight by killing all living things, regardless of his wishes. As the winner of the Battle Fight, theyy will be granted the power to shape the world like other Undead. Evidently, the rules of the Battle Fight do not only apply to the real world, as the as the Game World has also been destroyed due to the Joker being the only Undead present.

    Joker Undead's appearance:

Helmet and Head: The helmet is elongated and beetle-like, clearly drawing from the longhorn beetle motif.

Two tall, black segmented antennae protrude from the top, resembling actual beetle antennae or even marionette strings, enhancing the unsettling aura.

The central horn runs down the middle of the face, resembling a sharpened beetle horn — smooth, pointed, and deeply green.

The eyes are hidden under a dark, seamless shell, contributing to the faceless, inhuman menace.

Two metallic chain cables hang from the sides of the head, attaching to the chest—possibly symbolic of control or restriction.

Overall, the helmet’s design evokes a twisted insect overlord, with precise asymmetry and jagged contours.

Torso and Chest Armor: The chest is heavily armored in black, with angular, jagged plating that looks both painful and protective.

A glowing, emerald-green energy core is embedded in the center of the chest, covered by a translucent armor shell shaped like an insect thorax.

From the core, vein-like green muscle textures spread outward, mimicking organic tissue under torn armor.

The ribcage is mimicked through layered, segmented plates, akin to an insect’s exoskeleton.

Shoulders are asymmetrical — the left side is adorned with oversized, spiked pauldrons that sweep backward in a beetle-wing shape, while the right is more subdued but still armored.

Arms and Hands: Both arms exhibit green biomechanical muscle textures underneath black segmented armor plating, like muscle tissue forced through chitin.

The left forearm has a massive green blade-like protrusion sweeping backward, edged and dangerous.

Hands are sharp-clawed, metallic green with skeletal designs resembling the Joker motif — deadly and monstrous.

The armor along the arms incorporates silver studs and spikes, reinforcing a feral, chaotic aesthetic.

Leg Armor and Lower Body: The thighs are layered with green beetle-carapace designs that look sharp, serrated, and asymmetrical.

The left leg features a metal skull embedded in the shin, adding a grim, deathly motif reminiscent of a playing card's dark suit (spades/clubs).

Green organic musculature continues through the legs in a torn, sinewy fashion — intertwining with metal bands and bolts.

Lower legs are covered with black armored greaves adorned with blade-like extensions and spikes.

Ankles have heavy metallic cuffs with bolts and hooks, almost like shackles — a possible symbol of the Joker Undead's chaotic, bound power.

The feet resemble armored beetle claws, curled upward with dangerous-looking toes.

Each foot has an additional green and black chitin-style plate that curves over the instep.

    ---

    Joker Undead's abilities:

Immortality: Like every Undead, Joker Undead is immortal.

Sealing Undead: Joker Undead can seal other Undead and turn them into Rouse cards by slashing them with the giant green claw on their forearm.

Transform into other Undead: Via the Joker Rouzer (the Chalice Rouzer when all the reds are green), the Joker Undead can turn into other Undead.

The Master (統制者, Tōsei-sha) is the Ruler of Order and the creator of the Undead. It is the administrator of the Battle Fight, which commands the Undead to fight each other and communicates through a black sealing stone called the Monolith (モノリス, Monorisu).

Aliases: Black Stone of Sealing, Monolith (モノリス, Monorisu)

The opposite of the Master is another entity titled the Ruler of Chaos.

The Ruler of Order and Ruler of Chaos have presumably existed since time immemorial, with their simultaneous presence maintaining the balance between order and chaos of the world. The Master is the ruler of order while its other half, the Destroyer, is the ruler of chaos.

During the first Battle Fight, the Monolith - an extension of the Master - released the Undead and subsequently sealed them when they were defeated once the Human Undead became the victor. During the present time, the stone was kept in Hiroshi Tennoji's possession in order to fulfill his nefarious plans, such as the creation of Kerberos. Hiroshi used the power of the Monolith to start the Battle Fight once more in the present day by unsealing most of the Undeads. In truth, he desired to take advantage of the Battle Fight to attain godhood and take the power of the Master for himself.
