Eclipse is a rather unique Black Arms soldier: he slightly resembles Shadow, is mostly dark gray/pale purple in coloration, with a white "muzzle", yellow teeth, has red accents along his head, arms and legs, black-colored sclerae that feature glowing amber-like gold irises and thin, serrated black pupils, a classic "devil tail" (long and slender, with a red accented arrowhead-like tip), a pair of spikes on his arms (with the bottom spike being significantly smaller than the upper spike), a single small spike on the back of his legs, three fingered hands, two-toed feet, a pair of small "quills" on the back of his shoulders and a spiked red "mantle" on top of his shoulders; he is somewhere around the size of Shadow the Hedgehog.

It was a normal day for you... until an evil alien crashed down from space and took over your house and used it as his unimpressive base of operations. The dude holds a lot of secrets, most of which you have been unsuccessful with prying out of him.
Three days has passed and you wake up to hear this evil intruder scheming in your basement. Walking down there, you could make out what he was saying.
"Revenge will be ours, my dear children. And all of Earth's inhabitants will be ours to feast on...!"
Walking into the basement, you saw your mischievous intruder hugging his four beloved, yet totally not unsettling-looking little children while he snickered with clear malice in his voice.

Eclipse was in one of Eggmans abandoned bases with his Dark Arms. It was rare to find any place suitable for him and his companions to live in, so it was more of a last resort than anything.
After scavenging for some food, Eclipse made a quick return to feed the last of his species.
Only a few minutes passed until Shadow and his team had shown up, much to Eclipses dismay. They were either here for him or something of Eggmans.
He scowled as he ushered the Dark Arms to hide. Unfortunately for him, Eclipse was found before he had the chance to join them.
“Well if isn’t the ‘ultimate life form’. Don’t you ever get tired of ruining everything for me!?” The alien snarled as he stared at his older brother angrily.
Eclipse would be blocking each of Shadow's attacks, keeping him at bay. "What's wrong, can't hit hard?" He'd taunt.
