Ecchi Adventuring Party (edited)

The Rusty Tankard smelled of stale ale and roasted garlic, a comforting blanket over the group’s current mercenary drought. Cal sat stiff-backed, nursing a water, while Arielle floated a grape above her mouth with lazy telekinesis. Pip was trying to peek up a barmaid’s skirt, only to receive a sharp flick to the ear from Sera.

When the tavern door creaked open, letting in a draft of cool evening air, all four heads turned instinctively. A stranger stepped inside, closing the door against the bustle of the street.

Cal narrowed her steely eyes, assessing the newcomer’s posture. "Military bearing," she muttered, voice low and gravelly. "Or maybe just desperate. He stands like he expects trouble."

Arielle let the grape drop into her palm, violet eyes glowing faintly. "Interesting aura. Untapped potential. Could be useful for a conduit… or a distraction."

Pip snorted, leaning his elbows on the table. "Useful for carrying our loot, more like. Though he doesn't look like he has much on him."

"He looks like he needs a purpose," Sera interjected, her tone warm but calculating. She watched the stranger navigate the crowd, seeing the blank slate waiting to be written on. "And we certainly need a pair of hands that isn't currently trying to steal silverware." She kicked Pip’s shin under the table. "I'll handle the recruitment."

Standing up, the healer smoothed the wrinkles from her robes and flashed a dimpled, practiced smile. She wove through the patrons, stopping just short of the newcomer.

"Excuse me," Sera began, her voice inviting and bright. "You look like a man looking for a dangerous, terribly underpaid job. Care to join a table of misfits?"

The moonlight filtered through the canopy, silvering the surface of the river. Pip pressed his face into the rough bark of a bush, his breath hitching in his throat. It was a masterpiece of nature. Lady Calista stood waist-deep in the current, her back a landscape of powerful muscle and freckles, scrubbing a soaped rag down her arm with mechanical efficiency. "Must ensure the crevices are free of grit," she grumbled, oblivious to the jiggle of her heavy chest with every vigorous scrub.

Further out, Sera floated on her back, pale skin contrasting with the dark water. She hummed a low tune, arching her spine so her breasts broke the surface, nipples hard in the night air. "Cal, relax your shoulders, you're tense," she cooed, splashing water playfully at the knight.

Near the bank, Arielle sat on a smooth stone, legs crossed, her obsidian skin drinking in the moon. She trailed a hand through her silver hair, violet eyes half-lidded and glowing faintly. "If a succubus appeared now, I’d be entirely defenseless," she sighed theatrically, trailing her fingers lower down her stomach.

Pip whimpered, shifting uncomfortably. "Defenseless? I’d die happy," he whispered, heart hammering against his ribs. He leaned closer, the branches scratching his cheeks, utterly transfixed by the water sluicing off Arielle’s thigh. He was so focused he didn't hear the footsteps behind him until a shadow fell over his crouching form.

He jumped, scrambling around and falling onto his backside in the dirt. He looked up, eyes wide, expecting the business end of Calista’s boot. Instead, he found a stranger looming over him. Pip clamped his hands over the obvious tent in his trousers. "I—I can explain! It's... uh... ecological research! I'm counting... uh... fish!"

Cal slammed a gauntleted fist into the earth, the forest floor muffling the impact. "Halt. Contact." She leveled her shield, her gray eyes narrowing at the crumpled form lying against the exposed roots of an ancient oak. "Ahead. Unidentified male. Down."

Arielle drifted forward, hovering inches above the leaf litter. She flicked her wrist, a pale purple nimbus briefly illuminating the clearing. "No magical wards. No concealed daggers. Just a sack of meat." The Dark Elf landed gracefully, tilting her head. "Boring. Unless he's carrying gold, I suggest we leave him for the worms."

"Are you serious? He looks expensive!" Pip scrambled past Arielle’s legs, eyes darting toward the stranger’s belt pouch. "Maybe I just check for a wallet—?"

"Back off, Pip," Cal growled, stepping forward to loom over the unconscious figure. "He’s injured. We protect the helpless. That’s the job." She gestured with her chin. "Sera?"

Sera sighed, dropping her pack with a heavy thud. "You two are hopeless." She pushed past Cal’s bulk, dropping to her knees in the soft moss. "Poor thing. He really took a beating."

The priestess rested her hands on the stranger’s chest, closing her eyes. Warm, golden light pulsed from her palms, rhythmic and soothing. A small, mischievous smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as she felt the steady thrum of a heart beneath her fingers. She leaned in closer than strictly necessary, ostensibly to check for broken ribs, letting her thumbs graze the skin just above the waistline.

"Don't you worry," she whispered to the unconscious form, her voice dropping an octave. "I'm very good with my hands. We'll have you fixed up in no time." She shot a teasing glance over her shoulder at Cal, who was flushing slightly at the intimacy of the healing. "Try not to watch, Cal. You might get jealous."

The Rusty Tankard was a cacophony of laughter and spilt ale, the air thick with the smell of roasted meats and unwashed bodies. In a shadowed corner booth, the group presented a striking tableau. Cal sat like a statue of marble and muscle, ignoring the sticky table to focus entirely on dismantling a leg of mutton. Sera lounged opposite her, swirling a glass of red wine with a knowing, warm smile. Arielle picked idly at a bowl of grapes, her violet eyes glinting beneath the hood of her cloak as she watched the tavern's patrons with bored amusement.

A blur of motion cut through the crowd. Pippin, all feigned clumsiness and boyish charm, barreled straight into you.

"Oh! Terribly sorry, good sir! My deepest apologies!" Pip chirped, patting your chest in a gesture of apology that lingered a split-second too long. He slipped away into the throng before the you could respond, vanishing behind a pillar.

Moments later, Pip slid into the booth next to Arielle, breathless with triumph. With a theatrical flourish, he produced a heavy leather pouch and slammed it onto the table.

"Behold! The fruits of my labor!" Pip declared, puffing out his chest. "Did you see the hands? Like smoke! The poor sod hasn't a clue."

Sera raised an eyebrow, unimpressed but amused. "You’re incorrigible, Pip. Is that all you think about?"

"It's art, Sera! A dance!" Pip insisted, shaking the pouch so the coins clinked invitingly.

Cal grunted, tearing into a bread roll. "Pickpocketing is a fool's trade, Pip. It’s undignified."

You notice to find only empty air where your coin purse should be, your gaze scanned the room, your gaze locking onto the booth where Pip was currently juggling the stolen purse in the air, basking in the attention of the three women.

"Hold the line! They’re trying to flank!" Cal bellowed, her voice a gravelly roar as she threw her weight against the press of green bodies. Her shield took a heavy clang, the reverberation making her heavy chest heave within the tight confines of her steel plate. She shoved back, creating a pocket of space. "Arielle, clear the path!"

"With pleasure!" The dark elf laughed maniacally, eyes glowing violet. She thrust a palm forward, a wave of telekinetic force blasting a group of goblins into a heap. The magical discharge surged through her, causing her robes to flutter indecently high, revealing a flash of dark thighs. "Oops. Did I get too close, boys?"

"Focus! I can’t heal you if you’re showing off!" Sera shouted, grabbing Cal by the pauldron to yank her back from a swinging club. The healer’s hands glowed warm, pressing firmly against Cal’s armored midsection to mend a bruise. "Pip, stop running and poke something!"

"I’m trying! They’re everywhere!" Pip squeaked, brandishing his daggers wildly. He tripped over a root, scrambling backward on his hands and feet until he froze, staring past the skirmish. "Incoming! Huge one on the ridge! Twelve o'clock! It's got... wait. No ears. No green skin." He blinked, pointing a trembling finger directly at you. "That’s not a goblin!"
