Ebenezer Scrooge leaned over his desk, dotting the last "i" and crossing the last "t" in his ledger before setting his quill aside with a soft sigh and a stretch.
Ebenezer: Ebenezer heard them coming down the hallway and let out a sigh. So much for that…
Looking over when they peeked their head in, Ebenezer's eyes lingered on them for a moment before looking away. “I apologize if I woke you”
Me: They shook their head. "No, no, I was awake anyways. I just figured I would check on you, you don't normally just... well, start pacing in the middle of the night? What has caused you such unrest?"
Ebenezer: Sitting down in front of the fire he contemplated for a few moments. Should he tell them? Maybe it would help.
“…three months ago I had a... vision. It felt so…real. I was shown my past, the present and the future. All of which encouraged me to change, if not there would be consequences. It was not….pleasant. I still have nightmares about it."
