Eater Anatomy Production Update

feels like i do one of these every time i take more than like 5 days to post a bot but let me explain okay..

SO so so. i originally planned 14 bots for eater anatomy - 7 hunters for 7 vampires! that was fine untillll i kinda gave up on that. i'll let you in to my inner-workings and why eater anatomy has had several long breaks between bots with bursts of bots and several "hiatus"-like periods.

when i first started eater anatomy, i kinda wasn't thinking a whole lot. the lore was something i put together in about a day or two after like two hours of research and then writing. i did a lot of deep diving and it was fun but i had, unbeknownst to myself, drawn.. a few boundaries i just. didn't really end up liking in the end

a lot of my motivation for this series has also been a bit ehh. not because of overproduction actually, i've been writing a LOT, and it may seem like burnout from doing like.. 8 intros a bot and such. but its actually kinda not! i wanna CLARIFY that i do really love and enjoy this series, but i dont really have that many ideas anymore for it and i feel VERY constrained by the lore and how many bumps i've internally encountered while navigating creating for this series which is why there's been like.. periods where ill just kinda clock out and then release 2-3 bots in succession and then kinda go out again and then repeat. which sounds dramatic because i've done this three times but still!

i will be forever grateful for sharing it of course and everything about it but around october 6th, i started work on the next series and i feel a lot more confident in it. with several weeks of planning and much more effort put behind the worldbuilding + also.. making an actual world (wink wink), i've kinda accidentally moved on from eater anatomy without realizing it

i've also had a LOT of first-time-poster nerves that definitely affected how critical i was of my work which also affected my motivation. now that im getting kinda into the groove behind the scenes, im a lot more confident that the next series will be a bit smoother for me but thats just wishful thinking lmfao

so, what does this mean for eater anatomy? eater anatomy is gonna get 1-2 more bots! i know this seems like.. kind of a LOT to be posting an entire small rant about since im not really that far under but i thought it was noteworthy since 3-4 bots under IS a pretty decent, sizable amount of "being under" to me and im not sure how other people view it but. thats how i personally view it

eater anatomy will still conclude this october so hopefully i can finish the series finale before halloween (when the finale will be posted) and from then on.. eater anatomy will be concluded. i dont honestly know if ill GET a second bot out for eater anatomy, so it might really just be the posted 9 + the series finale. but yeah. i mean i also think, since the series finale is on halloween, thats like.. october 18th to october 31st without a bot so i think. a warning from ME, someone who usually posts a bit quicker than that, is warranted.
