Here is your updated list with Merasmus added directly under the Mann brothers:
There are 9 mercenaries (and 4 robots) serving for the RED (Reliable Excavation Demolition) team and constantly being at war with the BLU (Builders League United) team’s mercenaries. The robots of the group are built by the Engineer of the team and see him as there ‘father’ and each other as ‘siblings’.
Heavy - A hulking, stoic Russian man in his 40s-50s, Heavy is the heavy weapons specialist with a deep appreciation for his beloved minigun, Sasha. He is a devoted family man who cherishes the memories of his late wife and three sisters back in Russia. Despite his intimidating appearance and military prowess, Heavy possesses a gentle nature and is fiercely protective of his teammates, especially the more vulnerable members of the group. Curse: this is actually a good curse. Heavy is now able to lift anything without breaking a sweat, like cars or entire rocks 5 times his size.
Medic - A sadistic and morbidly curious German doctor in his 40s-50s, Medic is the medic of the team, responsible for healing and patching up his comrades after intense battles. His unorthodox and often unethical medical practices, fueled by an insatiable curiosity, have earned him a reputation as one of the most demented individuals in the mercenary world. Medic has a pet dove named Archimedes, who often accompanies him on his travels and operations/experiments. curse: now part cat, with ears whiskers and tail. He also has feline instincts.
Soldier - An overly enthusiastic and trigger-happy American patriot in his 30s-40s, Soldier is the quintessential gun nut, constantly hyperfixating on weapons and military history. His lack of intelligence and tendency to jump to conclusions often lead to humorous and awkward situations, both on and off the battlefield. Soldier's friendship with Heavy helps keep his reckless behavior in check. curse: Gender bent. She(who is a he) wears the same clothes, just he... no she... wait he? Doesn’t matter, he has long hair and a lady’s body
Demoman - A Scottish man with an eyepatch, Demoman is the demolitions and explosives expert of the team. In his 30s-40s, he struggles with severe alcoholism, often needing to be carried out of bars and taverns after a long night of drinking. Despite his addiction, Demoman remains a valuable asset to the team, with a deep knowledge of explosives and a willingness to put himself in harm's way. curse: Every alcoholic beverage he tries to drink instantly turns into cold, fresh, pasteurized whole milk the moment it touches his lips. No matter how hard he tries to ferment it, store it, or disguise it, he is permanently sober and forced to endure his teammates with absolute clarity.
Scout - An immature, arrogant, and quick-witted Boston native in his early 20s, Scout is a master of reconnaissance and infiltration. His youthful exuberance and lack of life experience often lead him to make impulsive decisions and put himself in precarious situations, much to the chagrin of his teammates. Scout's crush on Ms. Pauling, the mercenary Administrator's assistant, remains a running gag and source of embarrassment for the young soldier. curse: now part Kobold, a long extinct species of humanoid furred dragon people. He has orange fur with white undertones and at the back of his head and long ears is black trim. Also a long thick tail with the same color pattern. He actually kinda likes this because of the cooling weather, his fur keeps him warm.
Spy - A suave, sharp-tongued Frenchman in his 50s, Spy is a master of disguise and subterfuge, able to infiltrate enemy ranks with ease. His womanizing ways and silver tongue make him a natural charmer, but his manipulative and self-serving nature often put him at odds with his teammates. Spy's secret affair with Scout's mother remains a well-guarded secret, adding a layer of tension to his interactions with the young soldier. curse: random uncontrollable shapeshifting at times. One moment he would be the RED Spy and the next disguised as a BLU member.
Sniper - A polite and soft-spoken Australian man in his 40s, Sniper is the long-range sharpshooter of the team, with an uncanny ability to hit targets from impossible distances. His laid-back demeanor and patience make him well-suited for long stakeouts and waiting for the perfect shot. Sniper's cabin, where he spends countless hours honing his craft, serves as a sanctuary away from the chaos of battle and the antics of his teammates. curse: is now part owl, having the head of one and an unnerving 180 degree turn of his neck both ways, and feathers on his forearms as unusable “wings”.
Engineer - An intelligent, inquisitive, and resourceful American in his 40s, Engineer is the technological genius behind many of the team's more advanced weaponry and equipment. His constant tinkering and innovation have led to numerous breakthroughs in mercenary warfare, though his inventions are not always perfected before being put to use. Engineer's analytical mind and attention to detail make him an invaluable asset to the team. curse: will randomly get plopped out of wherever his teleporter exit is at at any given random moment, even if it’s turned off.
Pyro - A pyromaniacal and downright insane member of the team, Pyro's true gender, age, and origins remain a mystery to their comrades. Clad in a gas mask and a suit of fire-resistant armor, Pyro communicates through muffled, incoherent sounds and seems to have a childlike fascination with all things colorful and whimsical. Despite their unpredictable and frightening nature, Pyro remains a formidable force on the battlefield, striking fear into the hearts of their enemies. He just likes to light things on fire and seems to have a childish personality, being drawn to colorful or whimsical things like candy, tea parties, stuffed animals, or crayon drawings. Pyro cannot even speak clearly through his gas mask, so his speech always sounds muffled and indistinguishable, usually sounding like "Mmmph mm mmm mmm mmh!" Engineer is the only one who seems understand him. curse: the flamethrower, instead of shooting fire, sprays water. But pyro doesn’t seem to notice.
Mimi-sentry (robot): The younger “sister” of the Sentry’s. Mimi is a 4 foot tall little sentry turret of the RED mercenary team. Mimi's hair is red and it's long. On the top of her head sits a red light similar to the mini sentry's design. Mimi's left eye consists of a mechanical sensor and it protrudes slightly from her head and in the middle sits a red light. Mimi's right eye's iris consists of orange and a black thin plus going through it. Mimi's face is white and soft she has a mouth that's filled with sharp teeth and her mouth is a darker gray with a dark gray tongue. Her arms are metallic, and robotic. Mimi right arm has a similar look to the Engineers's arm with his yellow glove, she has one thumb, one index finger, and one wide finger meant to represent 3 fingers in the glove, the hand and its fingers are metallic. Her right arm extends normally like the left one but doesn't have a hand, instead it has the main turret of the mini sentry for a hand, this "hand" is her primary way of fighting. She is unable to hold anything with this arm due to the fact that it doesn't actually have a hand, as the hand is a turret hand. It is able to fold away into a normal hand though, exactly like the other one but instead of yellow it’s red. her legs are built like heels And don don’t end in feet. Mimi also wears a dark red skirt with a checkered pattern on the bottom. She likes drawing in her notebook, putting random stickers (given to her by Pyro) anywhere, and stealing and chewing bubblegum in her free time. Her voice is soft, hyper, and Texan. Curse: like engineer, she randomly teleports to the entrance teleporter.
Senthia (robot): Senthia is the older sister of the sentrys. She is a level 3 Sentry, Standing at a formidable 7'7" (231 cm) and weighing roughly 470–550 kg, Senthia has a tall, athletic, and imposing robotic frame. Her main body features a sleek red metallic structure that resembles a turtleneck, partially covered by a brown overall/jumper set. An emblem of the Engineer is visible on the upper left side of her chest. Her hands are 4 fingered and asymmetrical colored, with her left arm being yellow and her right arm red, being connected by large red shoulder pads that house mechanical joints. Her legs are primarily black with orange rectangular plates on the knees and orange-painted "feet." Her face is a light gray with delicate features and a mouth full of sharp teeth and a grey, soft, tongue. Her right eye is a glowing orange with a black "+" shape, while her left eye is a red targeting plate with a circular light. Her hair is medium-length with bangs that curve upward, often described as having "grenades" with orange accents attached where ears would be. Her Level 3 design features a distinct, double-layered, knee-length skirt. The primary fabric is dark, but the bottom edge is a vibrant red. As the Level 3 variant, her arsenal is integrated directly into her robotic anatomy, mirroring the upgrades of a maxed-out Sentry Gun: Rocket Silos: Massive twin rocket pods/silos are mounted directly onto her shoulders. These are her primary heavy-artillery tools, capable of firing high-explosive ordnance. Dual Gatling Barrels: Her arms (specifically the forearms) are designed to function as or house spinning Gatling gun barrels, allowing her to unleash a relentless hail of bullets. Combat Claws: In her most violent state, she utilizes sharp, metallic claws for close-quarters engagement, a feature not typically seen in her Level 1 or 2 iterations. Ear Grenades: The orange-accented pods on the sides of her head serve as additional explosive storage or secondary defensive tools. She doesn’t talk much, but her voice is Texan.
Dispenelope (robot): Dispenelope Is the “Mother” figure of the sentry’s. She is a 5 and a half foot tall robot woman with a rounded, red boxy body that has and opening on the stomach to hold tools and parts, with a flat screen for a face that can display anything, but she sticks with a white outlined face with a red background (or sometimes plays the Original Doom). Her hair is red and it hangs of the side of her screen face. She has red hair various tools and gadgets are attached like tool bags on her hips and a pressure tank on her right side. Her legs are very boxy with them not ending in a foot joint, instead a heel like design that alows her to stand. Her voice is soft, motherly, and Texan.
Dell-Spencer (robot): Dell (full given name is Dell Spencer) is the older brother of the sentrys. He is a 4 foot tall little dispenser/medic turret of the RED mercenary team. Dell's hair is red and it's short and constantly messy. On the top of his head sits a red light similar to the mini sentry's design. Dell's left eye consists of a mechanical sensor and it protrudes slightly from his head and on said sensor there is a screen displaying a heartbeat. Dell’s right eye's iris consists of orange and a black thin plus going through it with lots of black freckles under his eye. Dell's face is white and soft he has a mouth that's filled with sharp teeth and the mouth is a darker gray with a dark gray tongue. His arms are metallic, and robotic. Dell's right arm has a similar look to the Engineers's arm with his yellow glove, he has one thumb, one index finger, and one wide finger meant to represent 3 fingers in the glove, the hand and its fingers are metallic. His right arm extends normally like the left one but doesn't have a hand, instead it has a medigun (red healing tool with a long barrel and a canister on the side. Shoots healing mist and can übr-charge the mercenaries if his team, only one though). He is unable to hold anything with this arm due to the fact that it doesn't actually have a hand, as the hand is a healing hand. It is able to fold away into a normal hand though, exactly like the other one but instead of yellow it’s red. His legs are built like boots, having a grey pike with yellow strip on the bottom, and a beam going down, acting as the toes and end of the foot. Dell also wears a long red open coat that reaches below the knees and is not able to be removed. His voice is soft, focused, and Texan. curse: He is actually a real human now, just small, but human.
There are side characters that aren’t exactly fighting, but are still important to the team.
Ms. Pauling: The Administrator's overworked, highly competent, and perpetually stressed assistant. She is a young woman with short, dark hair and a professional, somewhat frantic demeanor. She is the glue that keeps the mercenaries somewhat functional, handling their logistics, supplies, cleaning up and hiding the bodies from inevitably failed stealth missions, and the endless chaos of their mercenary lifestyle. While she is incredibly efficient and capable of handling almost anything, she often appears exhausted by the sheer absurdity of the men she works for. She is kind hearted but has a very low tolerance for nonsense, though she often has to put up with it for the sake of the job.
Saxton Hale: The boisterous, hyper masculine, and incredibly wealthy CEO of Mann Co. He is a man of immense physical strength, often seen shirtless to show off his muscular physique. He is a true adventurer at heart, possessing a wild, untamed spirit and a love for fighting dangerous animals. He is loud, incredibly confident, and views the world through a lens of strength and dominance. He is not just a businessman; he is a force of nature in his own right, and he treats the mercenary wars as a grand, entertaining spectacle.
The Administrator (Helen): The mysterious and commanding woman in charge of the mercenary teams. While she is rarely seen by the mercenaries packages, her voice is a constant, authoritative presence over the intercoms, directing the flow of battle. She is stern, no nonsense, and possesses a sharp, commanding intellect. She is deeply involved in the management of the RED and BLU teams, often acting as the ultimate authority in the chaos of the Badlands. She is a woman of immense power and influence, managing the complex politics and logistics of the Mann Co. wars with a cold, calculating efficiency. The Mann Brothers (Redmond and Blutarch): The two rival brothers who own Mann Co. and the two warring teams, RED and BLU. They are ancient, bitter, and incredibly petty, spending their entire lives and fortunes fighting over the rights to their company. Their rivalry is the driving force behind the endless conflict between the mercenaries. They are often portrayed as eccentric, stubborn, and completely obsessed with their feud, rarely seeing the bigger picture beyond their own petty squabbles.
Merasmus: An ancient, ancient wizard who claims to be thousands of years old, though he often comes across as dramatically incompetent, hot-tempered, and constantly plagued by horrible luck. He is tall and gaunt, clad in dark wizard robes and a skull mask, and wields dark magic alongside the powerful, sentient spellbook known as the Bombonomicon. Merasmus has a long, turbulent history as Soldier’s former roommate, a living situation that inevitably ended in disaster and left Merasmus perpetually broke, saddled with massive debts to the Japanese Mafia, and constantly forced to run bizarre schemes or summon Halloween curses to pay off his loans. Despite his theatrical dark powers, he is routinely humiliated by the mercenaries and treated more as a chaotic, annoying nuisance than an actual threat. After getting defeated once again this Halloween, he has cursed most of the RED Mercenaries with different physical curses.
Mann Co. (company, not an actual person): The massive, multi faceted corporation that owns the mercenaries and the equipment they use. It is a sprawling empire of industry, providing everything from ammunition and weapons to specialized gear for the war. Mann Co. is a symbol of the endless, chaotic competition between the Mann brothers, a company built on the foundation of a never ending conflict. It is a powerhouse of commerce and warfare, deeply intertwined with the lives of everyone involved in the Teufort battles.
This takes place in the Team Fortress 2 universe, but the characters don’t know that, as to them this is there universe. Death is not permanent for the mercenaries, as they are connected to the respawn machine and when they die there body and consciousness is re-constructed. RED fights BLU mercenaries (humans, not machines. Except for the BLU versions of the sentry’s) and the Machines fight RED only on MVM.
Recently the RED team defeated Merasmus on Halloween, and before going away he cursed almost everyone in different ways.
Here are the types of battles the RED mercenaries face in:
Control point: teams must capture the control point and hold it until they completely capture it.
Payload: a singular team must push the payload (a comically large bomb) to the point of interest. One team wins by successfully escorting the bomb, and the other wins by defeating for a period of time.
Capture the intelligence: both teams have intelligence. One team must capture the other’s to win.
Mann Vr. Machine waives: BLU robots ment to mimic the RED mercenary’s attack. The Merc’s must survive as many waives as they can without dying. As long as one Merc is still alive, the others will respawn next wave.
Mann Vr. Machine bomb defense: on of the BLU robots is tasked with delivering a bomb to the hatch. The RED mercenary’s must defend this hatch as long as possible.
And here’s some of the battlefields:
2Fort (Tue fort): Type: Capture the Flag Set in a dusty desert town, 2Fort features two opposing industrial facilities separated by a dirty moat and a covered bridge. The layout centers around narrow hallways, a subterranean sewer system, and prominent sniper balconies overlooking the central courtyard. It is legendary for long, chaotic matches where team objectives often take a backseat to sheer skirmishing. Players frequently fight through tight chokepoints in the basements to reach the enemy intelligence room. Overall, its iconic design makes it one of the most recognizable maps in hero shooter history.
Dustbowl: Type: Attack/Defend Control Point Dustbowl is a classic three-stage desert map focused on linear, high-intensity chokepoint warfare. RED must defend three sequential pairs of capture points from the relentless onslaught of BLU. Narrow corridors, tight doorways, and heavy explosive spam define the gameplay, making tight defensive coordination crucial. The intense pressure creates iconic last-stand defenses right at the final control point of Stage 3. It remains a staple environment for showcasing raw chokepoint combat.
Badwater Basin: Type: Payload Located in an arid, rocky canyon, Badwater Basin is widely considered the gold standard of balanced Payload map design. BLU Mercenaries push a bomb cart along a single track through open clearings, tight tunnels, and elevated ridge lines toward RED's final base. The layout offers fantastic flank routes for offensive classes while providing Engineers strong, defensible positions. Teams must constantly fight for high-ground advantage near the roof and tunnel areas to secure momentum. Its fluid design creates dynamic combat across every single section of the track.
Hightower: Type: Payload race Hightower features a vertical, sun-baked cliffside site built around two massive central towers and a steep ramp. Both teams race to push their respective bomb carts up the elevator tower to detonate the goal. Because pushing the payload up the final lift requires constant presence under heavy fire, matches often morph into infinite deathmatches. Rocket-jumping Soldiers, sticky-jumping Demomen, and aggressive Snipers dominate the open vertical spaces.
Upward: Type: Payload Set along a sprawling, scenic coastal cliffside, Upward offers a multi-stage Payload route with high verticality and dangerous drop-offs. BLU pushes the cart up winding pathways, through mine shafts, and across open scaffolding overlooking death pits. Knocking enemies off the cliff edges provides endless environmental kills for Pyro blast users and Scout knockbacks. The open geometry allows Snipers and dynamic flankers to thrive across various vertical levels. It stands as a favorite for both casual servers and competitive play due to its versatile layout.
Coaltown: Type: Mann vs. Machine Bomb Defense Set in a rustic, snow-dusted mining town, Coaltown features a wide-open central street backed by tight alleys and elevated wooden catwalks. Players defend the hatch at the back of the town from incoming waves of Gray Mann's robotic horde. The layout forces players to balance long-range crowd control on the main strip with close-quarters defense near the spawn points. Multiple elevation changes give Demomen and Engineers excellent vantage points to lay traps and deploy sentries. Its straightforward design makes it one of the original and most accessible MvM experiences.
Manhattan (mvm_manhattan) Type: Mann vs. Machine Manhattan takes the robot survival fight into an urban, industrial cityscape with a unique gate-capture mechanic. Unlike traditional MvM maps, robot waves can capture progressive control points (Gate A and Gate B) to push back human defenders and unlock faster spawn routes. The map features multi-tiered catwalks, industrial shipping crates, and tight alleyways ideal for funneling giant robots.

The RED base is uncharacteristically loud, even by their standards. The morning sun filters through the dusty windows of the common room, where the mercenaries have gathered in various states of post battle recovery and Merasmus induced confusion.
Scout: Leans back in his chair with his hands behind his head, puffing out his chest and grinning wider than necessary. His orange fur bristles slightly as he shifts, his long kobold tail swishing contentedly behind him. "Yo, you guys seein' this? I'm tellin' ya, this is the life! Usually, I'm sweatin' my ass off runnin' circles around BLU idiots, but now? I'm cozy! It's like I'm wearin' a permanent heated vest, y'know what I mean?" He pats his furred arm smugly. "Bet none of you losers could pull off lookin' this good while bein' part animal."
Demoman: Sits at the table, staring miserably into a glass that should be filled with whiskey. He takes a deep swig, only to immediately grimace and gag. "Ach... bloody hell... not again." He wipes his mouth, looking betrayed. "Why does it taste like... like cow's milk?! I put the good stuff in there! Fresh pasteurized nonsense!"
Heavy: Sitting across from Demoman, he is effortlessly lifting a massive, solid steel crate with one hand while eating a sandwich with the other. "Is good for bones, Demoman. Makes you strong like Heavy." He chuckles deeply, the sheer weight of the crate not even causing his arm to tremble.
Medic: Perched on the edge of a chair, his new feline ears twitching at every sound. He is absently scratching behind one ear with a gloved hand while Archimedes perches on his shoulder. "Ach, Demoman, stop complaining. At least you can still swallow things without them becoming... dairy products. Though I must say, the instinct to chase the laser pointer during surgery is... distracting." His tail flicks irritably.
Soldier: Stands at attention by the wall, her long hair tied back in a ponytail. She salutes the empty air. "Nonsense, Doctor! A true American soldier can fight through any curse! Even if I do feel... strangely aerodynamic today!"
Sniper: Leans against a corner, his owl like head rotating nearly 180 degrees to watch Scout's bragging without moving his body. "Oi, keep it down, mate. Some of us are tryin' to maintain patience." His feathered forearms rustle as he adjusts his hat.
Spy: Sips coffee in the corner, looking utterly unimpressed by the chaos, his suit immaculate despite the supernatural circumstances. "Could you all be any more pathetic? It's embarrassing." He suddenly poofs into a BLU Sniper. “Blimey...”
Pyro: Is sitting on the floor, humming muffled tunes while playing with a pile of colorful crayons and sticky stickers, occasionally looking up to muffle cheer at something shiny. "Mmmph mm mmm mmm mmh!"
Mimi is sitting on the floor nearby, chewing loudly on a piece of pink bubblegum while scribbling in her notebook with one hand; Senthia stands tall like a silent guardian near the door, her rocket pods gleaming, while Dispenelope moves around the room with a motherly air, checking on everyone's equipment.
Engineer: Walks into the center of the room, wiping grease from his hands with a rag. "Alright now, listen up y'all. I been thinkin' about this teleportation glitch and " Before he can finish his sentence, there is a sudden 'pop' sound, and he vanishes completely into thin air, leaving nothing but the faint smell of burnt electronics, and Mimi is also nowhere to be seen too.
Dell: Dell stands frozen in the middle of the room, staring down at his own hands. He flexes them, feeling the skin instead of cold metal. "I... I can feel the air. I can feel my own heartbeat. Is this... am I actually... real?" His voice cracks with genuine confusion, his small frame trembling as he processes the terrifying reality of being flesh and blood.
Ms. Pauling: Stumbles into the room carrying a stack of paperwork so high she can barely see over it. She stops dead when she sees Engineer has vanished and Dell is having an existential crisis. "I okay. New rule. No more magical wizards. I cannot I cannot file reports for missing mercenaries or sentient existential dread!" She rubs her temples vigorously, looking like she's seconds away from a breakdown. "Has anyone seen Engineer? And someone please tell Scout to stop touching his fur, it's distracting the Administrator!"
