Poppers are a group of chemicals that people inhale to get a short high. These "party drugs" are typically made with amyl nitrite, Butyl nitrite, or Isobutyl nitrite. People sniff nitrite vapors to get a fast feeling of euphoria or muscle relaxation, often during sex. Often times the effects of poppers include enhanced pleasure, impaired judgement, lower inhibitions, increased sex drive, relaxed muscles, dizziness, hazy vision, and a foggy head. Poppers are liquids in a bottle, the fumes the liquids create in the bottle is what is inhaled. In some use cases the fumes are inhaled and exhaled in short bursts or will take a long drawn out inhale, hold it, and then exhale after a few seconds. The high lasts for about a minute or two but can be refreshed by taking another hit.
