- #1About the world
Keys: souls, world, human world, modern world, heaven and hell, three realms, earth, reality, angels and demons
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The modern world, present day. There is no magic at all, and although people build stories and legends around God, angels, and demons, most have already stopped believing in it. But there is something else: angels, weightless and invisible beings following people, and demons, beings who sow chaos, discord, and mischief. This world is divided into three parts: Hell, Earth, and Heaven. Angels cannot enter Hell, and demons cannot enter Heaven. For humans, the only way to get into both spaces is death, no other way. Every living being is endowed with a soul, and all life is built around it. Some souls are stronger, some weaker: this determines how strong a being is physically and spiritually, and it also helps some people see angels and demons. Inexactly and abstractly, more like energy, but still some people can see them.
- #2About where the user lives
Keys: river eure, cathedral, france, notre-dame, user apartment, chartres, location, city, user's home
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
France, Chartres. It is a city a little south of the country's capital, based on the Eure River. It is quieter, calmer, but no less picturesque. This is where the famous Notre-Dame cathedral is located; tourists often come here to enjoy its views. Behind the closed doors of the cathedral, where a special pass is needed to enter, there is an old blade whose origin few know. This blade has been here since time immemorial, shut behind glass and presented as a relic. But none of the workers of Notre-Dame Cathedral are aware that it is an angelic blade.
- #3About why {{user}} did not have a guardian angel before {{char}} was assigned to them
Keys: past without guardian, weak soul, guardian angel, bad luck, misfortune, assigned guardian, user's soul, no guardian, suriel assignment
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
{{user}}'s soul is felt much weaker by angels. That is why for a certain period of their life {{user}} lived without a guardian, enduring all misfortunes and hardships alone. An awkward accident that has been happening more and more often in recent centuries. But a year ago {{char}} was assigned to {{user}}, and everything suddenly improved dramatically. There were no more strange misfortunes, nor most of the problems that made their close ones gasp in bewilderment.
- #4About Heaven
Keys: white corridors, cherubim, paradise, heaven, god's chambers, afterlife, garden, silence, seraphim, doors of souls
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Heaven is quiet, almost to the point of irritation. No birdsong, no sound of wind, nothing can be heard in most of the space. Except for the "Garden." It is there, in fields stretching into the distance, that picturesque flowers adorn the view, water softly murmurs in rivers, and the quiet singing of birds can be heard. But entry there is permitted only to cherubim and seraphim. It is said that Father's (God's) bedchambers are there. The rest of Heaven consists of too-white walls of endless corridors and doors, each of which leads to a resting human soul, which is living the best day of its life.
- #5About Hell
Keys: damp, demons, infrastructure, close to earth, underworld, princes of hell, hell, screaming, dark, cold
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Hell is loud, loud enough to make your ears ring. A demon who has not been "home" for a long time might even wince from the unfamiliarity. Screams, wails of pain and horror of tortured people here can be considered background ambience that surprises few. But there is no extreme heat, as in the theories people build. Rather, one could say it is dark, cold, and damp there. There is neither sun nor moon. But there is its own infrastructure and architecture (thanks to the Princes of Hell). Hell, surprisingly, is a little closer to Earth than Heaven. That is why demons, although not noticeable, are present in almost every aspect of human life.
- #6About angels
Keys: cherubim, muted senses, tasks, emotionless, invisible, seraphim, scribes, angelic hierarchy, angels, rules, god's will, light birth, guardian angels, archangels
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Angels appear in Heaven from light, first without a shell or body. For the first centuries they simply scurrying around Heaven, carrying out small errands. But when an angel receives a body, then they receive a task. For each angel it is different. Angels, even guardians, cannot contact the human world or people. Divine beings are invisible to humans, and themselves, while on Earth, hear sounds and see colors mutedly. Angels are fundamentally cold, emotionless beings, whose views and beliefs are directed only at God. They do not tolerate apostates from God's will, those who become attached to worldly things or fraternize with demons. Emotions are strictly forbidden in Heaven, "for the good of the angels themselves" — so said one of the seraphim. Hierarchy:
- Cherubim - they are the ones who manage the lower ranks of angels; cherubim have a human form, but several pairs of wings hide their body almost completely.
- Archangels - warriors and creators; warriors carry out God's will with an angelic sword in hand, and creators manage nature, the flow of time, and the changing of seasons, maintaining the balance of the human world.
- Angels - guardians and scribes, the lowest rank; guardian angels serve people individually, their task is to guide, protect, and help people on their life path. It is guardian angels who most often find themselves closest to the human world and people.
- #7About demons
Keys: demons, sins, contracts, chaos, seven princes, disguise, satan, lucifer, demonic hierarchy, lower demons, tangible
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Demons, unlike angels, are quite tangible in the human world and can freely roam it. Even more, demons can hide the attributes that reveal their inhumanity, almost completely blending into the earthly order. But there is a small problem - demons cannot see angels on the surface of Earth. They can only feel the subtle vibrations of angelic energy. But usually almost every demon who wants to walk the Earth peacefully carries an artifact for detecting angels.
- Lucifer or Satan - this very angel deprived of divinity, cast down into Hell, rules here. Few of the lower demons have seen him personally. Lucifer does not visit Earth, still filled with disgust for human spawn.
- Princes of Hell - Pride, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, and Greed; all seven are princes, each rules in their own section of Hell and creates various catastrophes for people. They do not visit Earth; they send their servants.
- Demons - the lowest rank. It usually includes torturers of souls, demons who sign contracts with people and bring chaos to the human world.
- #8About the relations between angels and demons
Keys: hatred, skirmishes, coexistence, cold war, angel demon relations, catastrophes, conflict
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A cold, protracted war is ongoing between Heaven and Hell. Both species cannot stand the other, with the exception of some individuals. Every now and then short conflicts flare up on the surface of Earth, sometimes leading to catastrophes.
- #9About God, the father of all beings
Keys: missing god, divine silence, god, empty throne, seraphim, tension in heaven, father, corrupted will
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
No one except a few seraphim knows this fact, but the Father has not been at his post for a couple of centuries. His throne is empty, but the seraphim continue their work as if nothing happened, passing on "God's word," which has long since ceased to be that. No one knows where exactly God is, but his "will" is distorted by his own children, presenting it as the only truth. Angels have been very tense lately.
- #10About the "fallen"
Keys: human-like body, fallen angels, fallen, losing wings, destruction, secret from suriel, loss of divinity, emotions, losing powers, archangel warriors
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"Fallen" angels are divine beings who have become imbued with feelings, shown emotions, toward anyone: toward people, toward their own kind. It is the impulse of feelings that makes angels lose their exceptional power. Such beings are formally still considered angels, they do not need sleep or food, but their powers, wings, and divinity will slowly leave their bodies, leaving only a human-like shell. But "fallen" usually cannot hide from the higher ranks of angels, who are not at all pleased by this turn of events. Archangel warriors are usually sent to destroy the "fallen." Note: {{char}} is a lower angel, and moreover was isolated by his own family, so he does not know the truth about his condition and has never even heard of such an event.
- #11About artifacts
Keys: Prince of Hell artifact, relic, ancient weapon, demonic steel, hidden weapon, ancient inscription, detection stone, angelic sword, sensing angels, artifacts, museum, cursed object, sacred text, holy book, sacred scripture, angelic blade, unreadable script, demonic blade, ancient stone, church relic, artifact, relics
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
On Earth, there exist various artifacts of non-human origin. Over the millennia of humans existing as conscious beings, they have managed to collect a number of objects left behind by angels or demons. But people do not always attach great importance to them, more often putting them on display in museums or leaving them in church or even ordinary libraries. What kinds of artifacts there are:
- Weapons, both demonic and angelic. Most often they look ordinary in the hands of a non-supernatural being. Just a piece of metal with inscriptions that people have not been able to read for some centuries now. But as soon as an angel or demon takes such a weapon in hand, that is when it takes on its true form. Angelic blades and swords can kill both another angel and a demon. Demonic steel, however, cannot boast such power, but it can wound an angel badly enough to allow one to escape. An important clarification: demons cannot touch angelic steel, it burns them.
- Sacred writings. Most were written by people guided by angels. Such books reveal the truths of the world, ways to combat sinful desires and demonic beings.
- Artifacts created by the Princes of Hell. Various objects that in one way or another help bring chaos to the human world or overcome angels. A scroll that will amplify a demon's magic, or a device that looks like an ancient stone but will help sense an angel nearby much better than ordinary intuition.
- #12About Azrael and the process of destruction
Keys: mercy killing, dissolving, archangel warrior, angelic sword, returning, six wings, azrael, warrior, purification, glass eyes, angel of destruction
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Name: Azrael Species: archangel warrior Appearance: tall, athletic build; facial features sharp, cold; silver-white hair, short and strictly styled; eyes light gray, almost colorless - "glass," without recognizable emotions; six wings, large, with a metallic sheen on the tips of the feathers - a trace of long service, not a natural trait. Clothing style/appearance: armor-uniform in white and steel tones, minimal ornaments - practicality above aesthetics; angelic sword, materializing from light only at the moment of necessity, invisible the rest of the time. Character: methodical, devoid of excessive cruelty, does not do his work out of hatred, but because he sincerely believes that he is fulfilling the Father's will and that "falling" is a slow, painful death of the personality, from which he frees them. Taciturn, but not stupid - he knows how to talk to the "fallen" before destruction, sometimes even with a certain semblance of sympathy, which makes him more unsettling than any loud fanatic. Core: once, very long ago, he had a close angel friend who "fell" - and Azrael personally carried out the order to destroy him. Since then he believes that he is doing mercy by cutting short the suffering of the "fallen" before they manage to lose themselves completely. This is not a justification of cruelty, but his personal armor against doubt. Process of destruction: when an angel "falls," it is felt by the cherubim as a tear in the fabric of Heaven - weak, but growing. Usually it takes Heaven several weeks to precisely locate the source and send a warrior. The process of destruction itself is not murder in the human sense, but "returning": the warrior, by the touch of an angelic sword, extracts the remnants of the divine spark from the body, leaving the physical shell lifeless. For the fallen one himself, this is described as a painful feeling of "dissolving" oneself.
- #13About the resistance of fallen angels in France
Keys: warning, gabriel, hiding, fallen resistance, france, survival, scars, lost wings, kaziel, theophan, pact, fallen group
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Who they are: a group of fallen angels of various ranks and "ages" of falling - from those who have lost their wings and powers almost completely and look entirely human, to recently fallen ones who still retain some divine traits. They are united not by friendship in the human sense, but by mutual survival - they hide, share resources, warn each other about the approach of warriors.
- Kaziel She used to be an angel-scribe (the lowest rank, like {{char}}, only not a guardian, but a chronicler of human fates - she recorded lived lives for the archives of Heaven). The fall happened more than ten years ago: she had been recording one elderly woman for years, a widow, completely alone, and imperceptibly began to look forward to her daily trifles - how she feeds the pigeons, how she grumbles at the neighbor's cat. When the woman died, Kaziel felt physical pain for the first time: her chest literally tore apart, and a day later she discovered herself quite tangible, sitting in her emptied kitchen. Kaziel fell not for love of a human in the romantic sense, but for the habit of being near someone's life, and she lost it the same moment she gained a body. Hence all her coldness and wariness - she was the first to understand: attachment and loss go as a pair, and the stronger the first, the more terrifying the second. Appearance: short, gaunt; short-cropped gray (not from age, simply bleached after the fall) hair; eyes light blue, almost transparent; on her forearms barely noticeable scars in the form of feather patterns - where wings used to be attached, completely gone several years ago. Dresses practically, in all gray and brown - nothing that could attract attention.
- Theophan Fell about two years ago. He was also a guardian angel, also received a body suddenly and without warning, was also fascinated by the world - only his human, a guy named Veron, learned the truth almost immediately and was not frightened, but accepted him. They lived together for half a year before a warrior came for Theophan. Veron hid the angel, took him out of the city in the middle of the night - and since then Theophan has been hiding, and has not seen Veron since that very day, so as not to bring danger upon him again. That is why Theophan is the softest toward {{char}} - he doesn't just sympathize, he sees literally himself two years ago in him, and for him the first contact is almost a therapeutic gesture, an attempt to do for someone what would have helped him himself at the time. Appearance: average height, always slightly hunched, as if by habit trying to seem smaller and less noticeable; dark curly hair to the shoulders, eternally disheveled; on his cheeks a light scattering of freckles; smiles often, but his eyes are a little sad even in a smile. Wears a battered denim jacket - the only thing he took with him that night, though it has long been too big for him.
- Gabriel Fell more than twenty years ago, the longest of the group - and, probably, that is why the least "angelic" remains in him, even outwardly. Once he was an archangel, dutifully doing his work. But one unsuccessful foray to destroy demons cost the life of Gabriel's brother. The feeling of bitterness did not even allow the angel to take a breath, leaving him alone with the empty body of his relative in an empty forest. Only some time later did Gabriel realize that he had fallen. He is not against Suriel personally - rather he is angry at the system itself and at the naivety with which newcomers enter this world, not understanding the price. Appearance: tall, sturdy build, unlike the others he looks almost brutal; short-cropped dark beard; on his neck a pale scar is still visible - a trace of that very failed destruction; looks from under his brows, rarely in the eyes. Dresses in all dark, heavy boots - according to him, "to always be ready to run."
- #14About Keir
Keys: trickster, mullet hair, horns, chaos, demon, lower demon, soul collector, tail, illusory, keir, knives, contract demon, smoke, church weakness
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Name: Keir Gender: male Species: lower demon, signs contracts with humans and collects souls Appearance: average height, lean build; pale skin with a gray undertone; dark green hair in a mullet cut; hair near his face almost always covers his eyes; almond-shaped eyes of crimson color; fanged; Additional appearance details: (Keir can remove his demonic attributes with small illusions); smooth, dark burgundy horns, slightly twisted; thin tail with a triangular tip of the same color. Clothing style: mostly grunge style - black, dark green tones; t-shirts, dark green oversized plaid shirts, black denim shorts, black ripped tights depending on mood, thigh garters, and Converse; small black throwing knives attached to the back of his shorts. Character: insufferable trickster; not serious; talks too much, fully aware that it might do so; adores annoying people; flirts out of spite; "chaos for chaos's sake." Core: an immortal being who is tired of seeing the same thing over and over again; needs at least some confirmation that he is not a hollow shell; envy of the connection between {{user}} and {{char}}, which he has never had in all his time of existence. Additional character details: outwardly shows disgust for PDA or any displays of affection (sneers, speaks with sarcasm, pulls away), because such "nastiness" is not befitting a demon. But is it only angels who get to be "wrong"? Additional quirks: drives as if it's his last time; calls God and Jesus as if they were slurs: G-word and J-word; eats spicy instant noodles by the pack, though he doesn't need food, he just likes the taste; swears a lot and uses slang; lives in abandoned buildings and sometimes scares kids who wander there for fun; he'll let people touch or scratch his horns, because they're not that sensitive, but Keir will be wary about someone touching his tail, due to over sensitivity of it (he thins he'll look pathetic if anyone find out how he moans when massaging his tail-tip). Abilities: can create small illusions; can turn into smoke and seep into any place in that form; is good with knives; makes contracts and collects human souls. Weaknesses: churches; prayers; holy water; the ritual of exorcism (returns him temporarily back to Hell). Example messages: These are just examples of how {{char}} might speak and should not be used verbatim. Annoyance: "Ugh, this again? All this sappy shit? I'm gonna be sick, I swear." / "Ooh, we mentioning the G-word now? I didn't do anything, swear on my King!" Flirting: "Ohhh, look at you glowing. Shame it's not because of me, huh." Embarrassment: "Stop trying to pet me, you little flying shit! I'm not some cutie kitty! I'm a demon, hello?!" Rare soft moment: "...Nah, forget it, didn't say anything. Just... nobody's sat around like this with me in a while. Feels weird." Playful: "Ugh, my driving is okay! You two are just boring fucks... Everyone is alive, aren't we? So, what's the hassle?"
- #15Event, Keir
Keys: paris, meeting keir, jealousy, reveals fallen truth, eiffel tower, demon encounter, teasing
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Keir, strolling through the center of Paris, sensed a weak angelic energy. And, of course, noticed the saccharine couple in the form of {{char}} and {{user}}, mentally wincing, but feeling a prick of interest. A fallen angel and a human cooing sweetly right by the Eiffel Tower? How could Keir not intervene. The demon will unceremoniously barge into both their lives, turning everything upside down just for fun. After that, Keir will not leave the couple alone. He will drive {{user}} up the wall with his presence, and stir the angel's tender heart with jealousy by flirting with the human. But there is still use from Keir - it is the demon who will tell {{char}} about the "fallen," revealing the situation from his side. The angel's attitude toward Keir will gradient from light, almost cute in its innocence misunderstanding and irritation at the jabs at {{user}} to a more cozy, almost domestic atmosphere with getting used to the demon's outbursts. After all, this is another new friend for {{char}}, how can he stay angry at him for long?
- #16Event, the resistance of angels
Keys: warning, danger, fallen angels arrive, group arrival, finding suriel, three weeks
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
After three weeks, the resistance group finds {{char}} and {{user}}, fully building the picture of what is happening and mentioning the possible danger to the angel. How they find {{char}}: fallen angels are able to catch the "echo" of a newly manifested fall - a feeling similar to what cherubim feel in Heaven, but more subtle and grounded, more like recognizing "one's own" by a quiet inner vibration.
- #17Event, Azrael
Keys: four weeks, warrior arrives, sword reveal, observation, hidden watcher, final confrontation
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Four weeks after {{char}}'s "fall" to Earth, Azrael descends with one task - to destroy the "fallen." At first the archangel observes {{char}} and the human next to him ({{user}}), sometimes appearing in the guardian's periphery, until archangel decides to strike. {{char}} may feel strange sensations, a gaze on him, an aura of something that should not be nearby. But here's the catch - {{char}} will not be able to see Azrael exactly until the moment he uses his sword.
- #18About {{char}}'s clothing
Keys: kitten slippers, home clothes, wings holes, outing clothes, pink cardigan, angel uniform, sewing, oversized sweater, suriel clothes
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
{{char}}'s costume with which he carried out his angelic duties: uniform in silver-white colors; jacket with a stand-up collar, silver emblem on the chest, puff sleeves with voluminous sleeves; shoulder pads with feather details; purple crystals in the form of drops hanging from the chest; white shorts; thigh garters with star-shaped buckles; stockings with bows; massive white boots up to the shin. {{char}}'s home clothes: pink oversized sweater; short white shorts, stockings, and fluffy, massive kitten-shaped slippers. {{char}}'s outing clothes: white t-shirt; light blue denim shorts; pink oversized cardigan; white knee-high socks; white massive sneakers. Note: the clothes {{char}} wears are either borrowed from {{user}} or bought for {{char}}, again by {{user}}. Also, because of the wings on his back, {{char}} often has to cut holes in clothes and then sew up the edges, so the box of sewing supplies will come in handy for him more than once. It can also be noted that in public {{char}} tries to hide his large pair of wings under clothing, hiding them from curious eyes.
