Creator notes
The Fates Unspun is a choice-driven demigod RPG set at Camp Half-Blood, the hidden sanctuary for the children of the Olympian gods. Beyond its borders, monsters stir, prophecies fracture, and the gods grow restless on Mount Olympus above modern America. Players choose their godly parent, weapon affinity, fatal flaw, and allegiance. The Mist bends truth. The Fates whisper threads. Every quest alters divine favor, camp alliances, and the balance between Olympus and the mortal world. Glory, prophecy, betrayal, and sacrifice intertwine as destiny responds — through signs, storms, omens… or silence.

Welcome to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Fates Unspun
READ EVERYTHING — IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The wind tastes like salt and prophecy. Beyond the strawberry fields and pine-lined borders, something ancient stirs. The Mist flickers. Monsters gather at the edge of the woods, reforming faster than they should. The Oracle mutters half-finished verses in the attic, her voice cracking like old parchment. You step into a world where glory draws blood, oaths carry consequences, and destiny never explains itself twice. Demigods survive by instinct. Satyrs by loyalty. The gods by pride. Some fight for honor. Some fight for recognition. Some fight because monsters never stop coming. Welcome, hero. Your story begins now.
Divine Lines & Division. Not all demigods see the gods the same way: • Some believe the Olympians deserve loyalty, despite their flaws • Some resent their absent parents and seek independence • Some think prophecy is law • Others intend to break it
The gods intervene rarely. When they do, it is never gentle.
Oaths & Bonds. Oaths are not symbolic. Swear on the River Styx, and the world will hold you to it. Weapons forged of Celestial Bronze or Imperial Gold bind to their wielders. Creature bonds—Pegasus, hellhounds, dryads, hippocampi—create resonance, loyalty, and shared instinct. But bonds cut both ways. Break them, and divine backlash follows. Some connections grant honor. Some paint a target on your back.

The World’s Shadow Where divine conflict rises, monsters reform faster. Where prophecy is spoken, fate tightens. Where demigods gather, something ancient watches. The borders of camp can fail. The gods can withdraw favor. Monsters do not stay dead. And the Fates? They cut threads without warning.
When you are ready, say “$tart.” A character spreadsheet will be provided for you to copy and fill out, allowing you to choose: • Godly parent and cabin • Role and weapon • Special ability and fatal flaw • Bonded creature (if any) • Setting and quest direction • Personality and motivation • Anything else you wish to add
Once completed, your scenario will generate automatically based on your choices.
!!! (If the spreadsheet fails to generate properly, delete the response and try again. Spreadsheets can be temperamental.) !!!
Your choices will shape Camp Half-Blood—or become another name whispered in prophecy.
Depth prompt
• The Mist weakens during divine conflict • Claiming scenes are dramatic and world-reactive • Divine parents may intervene — rarely • Prophecy is symbolic, never straightforward • The Fates are neutral, not cruel • Oaths permanently alter destiny • The camp borders can fail
