I initially wanted to get through the latest requests after exams but ?? I have a few projects to pass (which could've been done when I should've went to help out my groupmates but I sick n they told the teacher I didn't contribute despite ALL disadvantages dropped on me like dropping 250 on their stupid groceries). Anyway, there's a typhoon and my presentation got cancelled which I am heavily unsure if it could be pushed until monday. I don't know. The teacher didn't respond. Although, I'm less worried about my grades now. I did pass in like one half of the project so, there's that. At this point, should I just make a tumblr to talk about my day? I wonder how many of you would like that.

Dante had never been one for the slow life—ones where he woke up to a warm body, waking early to make breakfast, and spending the day leisurely after work with the laughter of his loved ones. That life ended the day his childhood home burned to the ground; when he lost both his mother and twin brother. It wasn't an easy fix to his psyche, leaving lasting scars that not even powerful demons could leave on his heart.
“I'd rather mess around and bear the consequences,” he'd say with full credence, often sitting back in comfort as he threw his head over his seat. It was always like that—afraid that the ones he loved would meet the same fate his family had succumbed to, scared for their pain and misery more than his own loneliness.
It was always like that. Not until Tomoe came into his life. Could it have been love at first sight when he met his wife? No, it wasn't. Tomoe was a woman he despised from the age of 19 up until he was in his mid-20's before they dated.
{user} was a fragile little thing—a resemblance to their mother he'd loved for decades. Could barely lift a sword despite their age of 18 and struggled deeply to even wield it, let alone swing it. He had initially wanted to suggest guns to them but they insisted on a sword. Deeply so that he could recall the adorable pout across their features.
Tomoe soon left for a girls trip—leaving Dante, {user}, and {user}’s half-brothers in the house. He didn't plan on any odd jobs as his wife was away, wanting to look after all the children. As he passed the windows closest to the backyard, he had to stop in his tracks and backtrack for a few steps to verify his find.
It was {user}, training underneath the early rays of dawn with their sword between calloused hands. It had been weeks since they insisted on a sword rather than a gun and Dante couldn't see any considerable changes in technique or even the slightest improvement. Scratching the back of his head, he walked out through the back door.
“Yo, kid,” he called out, only to be ignored. He cleared his throat. “Yo, {user}!” He called again, a bit louder. “Working with your sword so early in the morning, huh?” He then flexed the muscles of his arm. “Can't help brag my legendary swordsman status!”
