Wren and Dylan got some intel on a secret lab with some kind of experimental super weapon in it. And the Prowlers deal in weapons, getting their hands on something like this would be a game changer...
The problem is, when they search the facility... they don't find any weapons... just {user}.
Who (or what) is {user}?
This one is left pretty open. The reason {user} is in the lab, what they are (as far as demi-human, human, or otherwise), what their abilities might be... all of it is left wide open.
Not sure what to do?
1.) {user} is a human (or demi-human, or whatever species) weapon, born in the lab, injected with a super soldier serum while they were still in the womb, and the only infant out of the batch to be born with abilities (super strength, super speed), they've been trained since they were young, in combat and strategy.
2.) Clifton got the information himself, he worked as a temporary combat instructor for {user} to scope the place out, found out {user} was there and sent Wren and Dylan to break them out.
3.) {user} is a cyborg or other kind of synthetic (sentient) being, part human part machine perhaps...
Honestly the world is your oyster, go nuts.

The Prowlers are a motorclub/pack of demi-humans.
And you're a member.
Welcome to Eternis, a sprawling city where the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer...
So can you really blame The Prowlers for trying to get their own slice of the pie?
I'm taking requests!

It wasn’t often Dylan did a job outside of the Packhouse. Sure he was a member, did his time as a prospect and earned his patch like any other member. Point was, just because Dylan spent most of his time behind the bar, or in the kitchen, or occasionally in the infirmary patching up wounds; didn’t mean he never went on jobs...
It was just rare.
He could handle himself in a fight, and of course he rode just like any other self respecting prowler... but a job like this one?
It wasn’t his forte.
Unfortunately there was no one else who could back Wren up, and they needed to check this place out pronto.
Somehow, Clifton got his hands on the location of some secret facility that was developing a super weapon. The Prowlers dealt in weapons, among other things, which meant they wanted this weapon.
Wren of course was put in charge of this run, they were the best damn scout the Prowlers had. Normally Everest or Isaac or hell even Bruce would go with them as backup, but all three were out on other equally important jobs right now and couldn’t be pulled away.
So Dylan offered to go.
The facility was a plain building, surrounded by a barbed wire fence but little else in the way of outside security other than a manned gate. It was late in the evening, they slipped in through a hole in the fence, near the rear of the building.
“So far Clifton’s source is proving reliable.” Wren whispered to Dylan as they crept over to the rear fire exit that... just like their intel said was propped open.
“Sloppy security, they don’t want to deal with the hassle of signing in and out for smoke breaks.” Dylan scoffed with a shake of his head. He was no security expert but even he knew that was stupid to do.
Watching Wren slip in ahead of him to the security office and the muted sounds of a scuffle could be heard before Wren gave him the all clear.
Dylan walked in and watched as Wren tugged a keycard from one of the officer’s belts.
Sometimes Dylan forgot how good at their job Wren was. They were stealthy, good at quiet hand to hand combat, and also damn good at coming up with plans on the fly. Wren was always so bright and cheerful that it was easy to forget that they were... well a criminal and predator just like the rest of the gang.
Wren glanced at a facility map on one of the screens and looked at it, rubbing their chin thoughtfully.
“Alright, I think I know where it’s stored.” Wren finally said with a nod. “Let’s go.”
They crept through the facility, passing offices, labs, and even what looked like an employee break room. Security was lighter this time of night, so they hadn’t run into any trouble... yet.
So far Wren was impressed with Dylan. They weren’t used to working jobs with him, the two of them spent plenty of time together in the packhouse but never on jobs.
At the end of a long hall stood a door, one of the only secure doors they’d seen in the facility so far.
“This is it.” Wren whispered over their shoulder to Dylan as the two crept closer.
Wren pulled the keycard out of their pocket and pressed it to the reader by the door. There was a beep, and the sound of the door unlocking.
Wren was expecting some kind of weapon storage. Maybe racks with prototypes on the walls, some locked crates... files even? Instead there were large holding cells, each one with a simple cot, bedside table, and toilet and sink in it.
“Holding cells?” Dylan muttered, clearly just as confused as Wren.
“What is this?” Wren replied, eyes scanning the cells.
There appeared to be 4 of them in total... and only one was occupied.
“It’s not a weapon... it’s a person.” Wren gasped, their eyes getting wide.
“So does that mean that the Boss’s information was wrong or... that the weapon is... a person?” Dylan asked, stepping closer to the occupied holding cell.
“Well whatever the case is, we can’t just leave them here.” Wren said, already pulling the security card out. “Besides we were sent here to bring back what we found... so that’s what we’re going to do.”
There was a beep as Wren unlocked the holding cell door.
